The two projects I have in mind after the socks:
This hodie for the husband with this yarn I spun myself (need to spin one more skein and dye it)
Tumblr media
And spinning this gorgeous roving that @swords-n-spindles gifted me last year with a from the food technique that showcases all the colors (technically)

After frogging again for 5 times or so, I'm finally content with the pattern I choose for the second sock
Tumblr media
Not Shure heat pattern I enjoy more, tbh.
I have squired a sock! I also already started the second sock. I just have to think about what pattern to use

My scrap quilt this morning. The fabric I'm using is largely felted so im... not hemming. I mean it's a quilt, the back will be closed eventually... should be fine ? (I have no idea if it will be fine, but I don't want to hem).
Got some bits of socks, the top of an old hat, more loom tests, and something I started knitting and never finished and decided to sacrifice to the quilt rather than frog.

Here's the back.

Only had to redo this like 3 times to win yarn chicken... still counts. It's 1 row of lemon peel stitch, that's how little yarn of this color I had lol.

Crafty friends inside my phone. The time has come once again for you to influence my purchasing habits. I want some rolags to take away with me when I go to Torquay in July, during tour de fleece. I’ll be taking Margo with me, hence rolags. So I have been browsing fellfiew fibres. The shop is closed at the moment while she catches up with orders, but I want to have my decision ready for when she opens up again. And of course, I would buy out her entire collection if I was rich. But I’ve narrowed down my options to ten. I may buy two sets, we’ll see how my bank account looks when the time comes.

A heel happened!! Translated from Germany it's a Bumerang heel. I like it so far. I'll see how it holds up with wear in the future

Sock time! With the agender yarn @roboticchibitan dyed for me 🥰
Tumblr media
Really love the pooling
I also thought about crocheting lace, but I'm not good enough at crocheting yet. Also it looked to busy. Loved the cameo effect though. Agender pride cameo is a joke that writes itself

Hi, not sure if you would have any info (or if you know a blog that would have an answer)
I want to make things to wear and I can measure like, myself standing and all, but how do I know how to deal with a part of the clothes that will bend (the knee, the waist, etc.) it makes the clothes move and I would t want my stuff to break because I didn’t account for that stuff. Any tips? Does anyone worry about this when they start?
Ohni have NO idea :D
But @swords-n-spindles sews more clothes for themselves.
And @vincentbriggs is an absolute legend (imo)
Edit: forgot @badassindistress also top tier sewing stuff and knows way more than I

This his VERY cool, but I don't have milkweed anywhere near me :(
You might think about @milkweedman
Tumblr media
I got myself some milkweed with lots of bast fibers coming off!!! This is butterfly milkweed from a well established plant, stems were left exposed to the elements all winter. I don't remember off the top of my head who worked with milkweed fiber a year or two ago (@comfortabletextiles ?) But I'm gonna try to process and spin a little bit of milkweed cord!
