Pinocchio had been alone for a while, and it was....nice to have somebody else around (somebody he could be dependent on, preferably), he also wasn’t sure what to make of the girl in front of him. She was, how could he put it....nervous.
He had never met anyone like her - most of the other Fairy Tales had been bold and brash, even the quieter ones like Ibarahime - so he wasn’t quite sure how to approach her. Fortunately, though, he didn’t have to quite yet, as something came out of her bag and she panicked, conveniently derailing both the girl’s - Lillie’s - question and Pino’s own tiring thoughts.
“....eh? Is that a nightmare....?”
His Staff is silent; it doesn’t seem like He’s awake right now to give Pino an answer.

Well, this was fairly awkward. Lillie had always been quite shy in front of people but she had to socialize with the person she was matched with, There was no point of being here then right..? Or at least that’s what they all always say here in this city. She stared at her cup of tea as she didn’t know what to say, she should say something since she was the one that asked him for a cup of drink.
“Um… H-Have you have been here long-” But before she could finish speaking, Nebby popped out of her bag and she quickly grabbed a hold of them before they could escape.

3. How do they wake up in the morning? What is their morning routine?
The Staff usually yells at him to wake up - quite rudely, might I add - and Pino tends to be groggy for a while after. His morning routine doesn’t exist, per se, since he’s a human doll and was blessed by his Goddess, yada yada, so he doesn’t have hygiene issues and he doesn’t need to eat. He does, however, do some stretches to make sure his bones - what used to be his ball joints - don’t get too creaky.

2. What was the last thing they read?
Uuuh, probably somebody else’s fairy tale, probably Ibarahime’s or Kaguya-hime’s since he relates to them more than, say, Red Riding Hood or Gretel.
Really, he doesn’t read a lot (as mentioned in the first question), but even a brainless puppet can inherit curiosity from a goddess, and the other fairy tales’ stories could better their interactions in the Library- if he ever goes back.

Pinocchio is never full of bad ideas- after all, to have ideas, you have to have thoughts, and thinking has never really been his forte. But the one time he tries to think for himself, and something....something happens......
It all goes wrong.
Leaving his Staff behind was a bad idea- at least, at least He talked to Pino, told him what to do- even when he didn’t want to do it, it was a direction, without Him he was- he was aimless, there was nowhere for him to go where are you going Pinocchio? your strings are cut who’s gonna help you now you can’t control yourself now can you-
And so he sits in an alleyway, curled up against the wall, his mind blurring out everything in the real world until he sees but doesn’t perceive- not even the abnormally large yellow bug sitting right next to him.

Art is nice and relaxing for most people. It lets one sit and think, ruminate on the nature of existence, even appreciate the fragility of the human condition.
Buuuuut in all honesty, Pinocchio has no desire for any of that hard thinking, and so he just stares up at the painting on the wall. He can make out a tree - or is that a bird? - and maybe a few people in the background - those could just be rocks, though - but it’s all still too abstract to piece together. Or maybe he just has bad eyesight, that’s a possibility as well. Regardless, the emotions of the painting aren’t ones that he feels the need to discern for himself, so he turns to the person next to him- he seems knowledgeable, maybe he can tell Pino what to do.
“What.....am I supposed to feel about this?”

Koi is a big place, and even for somebody who does a lot of wandering, even Pino feels tired by the time he reaches the Chamomile District. Just by seeing all of the life in the area, he’s both disoriented - the only life in the Library belonged to the other fairy tale characters and the Nightmares, usually - and exhausted.
“I understand why Ibarahime likes sleeping so much, now.” He doesn’t even bother trudging up the steps to his new home, and rather finds a comfortable-looking spot under a tree and lays face down on the grass, his items - the book, the puppet, the t-shirt - scattered around him. To an unassuming stranger, it might even look like he was attacked, or collapsed, while all he really wants to do is fall asleep.
His Staff is wholly unhelpful.

1. What is their favorite book or television show?
Pino doesn’t read much - considering he’s a fairy tale character himself, that’s absolutely understandable - and when he watches TV, it’s usually whatever’s on, or whatever somebody else wants to watch. He also watches the news occasionally, but is usually ambivalent.
If he had to choose something, he would probably choose the Bible, oddly enough; it appeals to him, if only because he, too, wishes there was a higher power telling him what to do and how to act so he doesn’t have to make his own decisions. The depiction of the Lord is, to an extent, how he wants his Author to be.......with more free will.
