I think what might be the funniest thing about this whole savemyboycole situation, apart from it turning into a copypasta, is that Cole still isnt, like, canonically gay. Its all still subtextual. Sure that subtext is about as subtle as a fire alarm, but there has never been any explicit confirmations that Cole and Geo are canon.

Like, most of the time homophobes go the route of simply denying or ignoring the subtext (as theyve apparently been doing for a decade, if they think Cole has been straight this whole time). But Cole and Geo are so incredibly gay that even the homophobes cant deny it. Im obsessed. I love it here.

When discussing the Garmadon comics, people usually reference the "why do you carry me with you?" scene as one of their favorites. And true, that one is an absolute banger. But!!! I think we're all sleeping on another really fascinating sequence that is also deeply compelling and arguably my personal favorite (click on the images for better quality)

I will never understand why a decent part of the fandom still have Kai dynamic with Jay as "I don't like you because you're dating my sister"

Like, yeah Jay and Kai give each other a lot of shit but that behaviour of overprotective brother who doesn't want his sister to date barely lasted past the "True Potential" episodes, which is S1 btw.

I can understand if it's like "first meeting" fics or somewhere between pilots and s1 but to have it being constant? The man literally gave Jay tips to propose, those two love each other.

And that's on Kai's side, Nya had a say on this too ofc and she's not just "Kai little sis", she chose to go on the date with Jay and she decided to move forward with everything (Yeah despite Ninjago's clunky writing my girl has agency)

Like, if you tell me Kai doesn't accept Jay and Nya's relationship then I guess we aren't talking about the same characters, first, no Kai doesn't hate Jay, no he doesn't have to "accept" anything, he's not gonna be constantly annoyed if they pass time together or are lovey dovey with each other, and finally, he absolutely loves those two, he just wants his fam to be happy.

dr julien is so funny he shows up for like 5 episodes and is the most whimsical silly old man that i vibe with so hard and even saves the ninja in the most badass move ever during the climax and then in season 3 he's just. died off screen. rebooted you are my enemy
