It's kinda wild that so much of the old DT fandom seems so ashamed of their work and involvement in fandoming it? Like, guys, it was a cute cartoon, you made art of silly ducks, no one will judge you forever and you didn't commit any kinda sin.
i was called a slur for being a fan , i had issues with someone and had them blocked and was infodumping to a shared friend of ours another friend ended up forwarding me a message of them saying i have r slur brain damage just cause i infodumped a bit too much) , i do wanna get back into the fandom .. but it still kinda hurts as i was really into it before some ass ruined it for me

Ok but Ducktales s1+s2 was like, unironically one of the best cartoons of this new era of them. They fumbled in the end but that's in large part due to being abruptly cancelled and having to mesh two arcs that should've have their own seasons into one season with no room to breathe. And hey, s3 still isn't awful, it's just meh with missed opportunities.

I do many Disney related cosplay, usually with some kind of spin on it. I wanted to do some type of character that could incorporate a ballgown into the design without it actually just being a dress. I eventually came up with this idea, with some help from some friends who also love Disney and cosplay
.
The process was simple but time intensive. For the skirt I drilled holes in plastic coins and and made foam disks covered in glitter. I then individually sewed each coin to the skit fabric. Which definitely took a very long time. The jacket was a repurposed blazer and I sewed the lower half of the duck to finish the illusion. The only difficulty was the amount of time needed to finish the skirt
.
The response was amazing at NYCC! People really liked the concept as well as the execution. Many people said it was their favorite cosplay they’ve seen!

this notification interupted my reading of this fanfic
Well, i wrote the fic! Heads up, this one is a bit of a debbie downer for half of the word count. I'll upload a link in a bit that has accompanying art, but you're free to reblog this one too!
“I used to love Frozen and Elsa until I met her at Disney World. She was very rude to me. I had gathered up my courage to show her my self harm scars and tell her how much Frozen has helped me, and when I did, she was very dismissive and acted like she just wanted to leave. I haven’t been able to watch Frozen since.”
