Birthdays mean going through another year of life. It means growing another year older. For me, human birth is the purpose of God’s realization. Today is my little brother’s birthday! Over the past 27 years (wow he’s 27 already), I’ve watched him grow into his own person. He has done things that may have surpassed me and even then, I may here mouth but he is always there for me. And I am extremely proud of him. No matter who he loves, how is dresses, and what he thinks, I will always love and be there for my brother. Through it all and at the end of the day, just like Mom says, all we have is each other. One of my goals for 2019 is to become more intuned with my spirituality and religion. I am not saying that I lost my way but I think more trust in the Lord is needed.
