Six months ago, this fandom was thrown a massive curveball.  After more than four years as a band of 5, One Direction became 4.  The OT5 brought us some amazing music and memories, and the OT4 have created a new band to love.

In these 6 months we have had over 30 incredible shows in 4 continents and over 10 countries , multiple appearances and awards, and some really great new music.  Despite the drama and the media, Harry, Liam, Louis, and Niall have shown this fandom that they are strong and they love what they do.

While the future may feel a little uncertain right now, it’s pretty amazing to think back to 6 months ago when we felt that same way.  This fandom and these 4 boys have come so far and there is still so much more ahead of us.

Thank you for 6 wild but pretty wonderful months, boys.  And thank you again for staying.

Let’s have another toast to the four almighty.
