Giovanni is not Ash’s Father

I don’t understand the reasoning behind the “Gio is Ash’s Dad” theory. I mean, the most glaring problem with it is the genetics behind it all.

Delia has brown hair and brown eyes. Ash got the eyes from her.

Giovanni has brown hair and black eyes… Ash has black hair.

Neither parent has the zigzag marks that Ash has.

In order for Giovanni to be Ash’s father, he would have to have Ash’s black hair and zigzag marks. He doesn’t.

Now about Silver (the Ritchie episode). He seemed like the closest possibility, as he knew of Ash. However, you need to take genetics into consideration again.

His silver hair. Now, before you say that it’s just gotten gray with age, you have to take into account the flashback when Silver sees Moltres as a kid. In that flashback, he clearly has the same gray hair he does now. So that’s a bust.

He STILL lacks the zigzags.

And of course, Professor Oak is too old. That just leaves two possibilities.

His dad has yet to be introduced.

Arceus pulled a “Virgin Mary” to conceive Ash.
