i don't understand the argument of making labels more inclusive

labels aren't meant to be inclusive, they're meant to be descriptive. the word lesbian describes a woman attracted exclusively to other women. if you don't check both coxes, you're a lesbian.

i don't care if you're "femme aligned". if you are non binary, don't use terms for binary people. they aren't for you.
