Nota: Tal como el título lo dice, estas son solo opiniones personales sobre los libros y capítulos de Choices. Por supuesto, puedes estar de acuerdo conmigo o no, yo solo uso esta plataforma para expresar mis ideas con relación a lo que leo, ya que ninguno de mis amigos juega Choices y no tengo a nadie con quien comentar los libros.

ADVERTENCIA (?): Es posible que este post sea un poco más técnico, ya que está escrito desde el punto de vista de una traductora. Además, disculpa si mi escritura no es tan “gramaticalmente correcta”, en general me doy algunas licencias cuando escribo informalmente en redes sociales (algo que en mi trabajo diario no hago jamás). J

No sé si alguna vez he mencionado esto, pero en el mundo real soy traductora profesional. Me gradué de una universidad muy buena de mi país y mi título profesional dice “Traductora inglés-español”. También tengo más de 13 años de experiencia trabajando como traductora, editora y revisora. Entonces anoche, cuando me di cuenta de que PB había lanzado la versión en español de “The Royal Romance”, tuve que ir a leerla. Y, honestamente, ahora como que me estoy arrepintiendo de haberlo hecho.

Intentaré explicar esto de la forma más sencilla y sin entrar en tecnicismos de traducción, para que así sea fácil de entender. En una opinión muy general… tal vez es porque este es mi trabajo y las cosas simplemente me “saltan” en la pantalla… pero esta traducción es horrible! Tiene tantos errores que cuando comencé a escribir este post ni siquiera sabía por dónde empezar. Sin embargo, hasta ahora he encontrado cuatro categorías principales:
