it’s like the time my best friend eloped and I found out because she called him “my husband” when talking to a stranger. 👀
I was not expecting this! Go Hae-in!
also did she call him her husband? Like her present husband? Anyway I'm so excited.

I can’t stop thinking about what the shows we love say about us. It’s been ages - years maybe - since I’ve been as obsessed with a story as I am with It’s Okay to Not Be Okay. It’s about isolation and not showing anyone your true self out of fear - fear of everything falling apart, fear of finding happiness, fear of being broken again. Watching it was deeply painful and powerful.
Sure, we don’t all have extraordinarily traumatic pasts like our beloved characters, but we’re also a lot closer to being a Moon Gang Tae or Ko Mun Yeong than most other drama characters. We need to do the work to find our way to happiness.
There’s been a lot said about the art that will come out of this time in history. For me, this and folklore sum up the feelings of isolation, fear, and the wanting....the endless wanting that the first two unleashed upon us all. Wanting the world to feel safe, wanting to feel warmth, wanting things to go back and wanting to move forward.
Who would we be if we faced our fears?
