i watched one (1) video on how to draw hands that changed my life forever. like. i can suddenly draw hands again

these were all drawn without reference btw. i can just. Understand Hands now (for the most part, im sure theres definitely inaccuracies). im a little baffled

"When we get out of here alive, soldier," says Karlach. "When!" repeats Wyll. "When we escape the clutches of the Absolute, we will dance and drink like champions, all of us. I'd drink to that, if I had a drink." "You could propose..." Gale holds aloft his hunk of stale, lightly fried bread. "A toast." Lae'zel, abruptly, stands up. She dusts the crumbs from her clothes. She walks to the doorway. She vanishes from sight. Wyll makes a faint wheezing sound. You look at him, concerned that he has suddenly contracted a rare and unusual disease and is dying. He has not. He is laughing. "Toast," he wheezes. "Because this is bread," Gale explains to you, "And when you cook bread..." "Yes, I understood," you say. You consider smiling for his benefit. You decide against it. Wyll doubles over. He slaps Gale on the shoulder. Gale beams. "This is it," says Astarion, from the wall. "I'm either going to die here for good with only you five idiots for company, or I already have died, and this, for my sins, is my eternal torture." "You have died," you say, "You're a vampire." Astarion pushes himself off the wall. He saunters over, plucks the half-eaten piece of bread out of your fingers, and eats it. "Hey," you protest.

OC ask!!! Silly things about Eve

Because she's a children's nurse in a pre-industrial society, Eve sews a lot. She THINKS she's great at eyeballing size measurements for non-halflings and scaling up her sewing for them. She's not. She also doesn't believe in colour matching of any sort.

-> and she WILL fix your clothes if she thinks they need it. She won't ask.

-> Astarion is much better than her and criticises her sewing extensively but no way is he fixing anyone else's clothes

Her dad's name is Mungo Duckfugget. He has thirteen siblings and they all raised Eve together after her mother [REDACTED]. It was very much like the Shire in there

Eve also gets from them the tendency to name the testicles of random gods when she's flustered

She reads, but only one book per author, because "once you've read one they're all the same". Gale learns this and it drives him absolutely demented, but there is nothing he can do to change her mind

Eve reads anything you hand to her out loud as she reads it, but she doesn't actually realise she's doing it

Similarly, if Eve isn't trying to hide her thoughts, although she doesn't know it, she is very clearly displaying them with her face

Like if someone she doesn't respect is speaking you glance at her and she's like 🙄🙄🙄🙄 but you ask her about it after and she's like I was completely normal and polite for that whole interaction.

I try to refrain from spoiling Stepdaughter online, but there's no particular reason for that. Watch this. Gorion's Ward is called Aristes because that was my dad's PC's name and book 2 opens with the god of death going to drink pints at Tender Henk's bar

a lot of discourse in fandom comes from people seeing takes they disagree with and feeling defensive and typing up kind of angry rebuttals, sometimes the takes are real and sometimes imaginary. this is petty and stupid and, I think, fundamentally human and it rules

when I see ardent Gale and Astarion haters in the bg3 tag I'm like, isn't it great that the diversity of human experience is that thousands of people are in love with these two fictional guys and they're so annoying to you that it genuinely bothers you to see people celebrating them and you're going public because your hatred is THAT important to you. isn't it wonderful to feel love and hate and envy and contempt just from a fictional work of art

#when I see a Gale hater on the internet I'm like brother you are just as valid as any Gale lover #they made him to be annoying to some people! you have engaged with the fiction correctly! #isn't it great that we experienced the same story but had completely different emotional experiences?? #don't judge anyone or yourself based on how u interact with fictional characters and suddenly fandom is fascinating and a lot of fun #now is that enough tags that if I tag this bg3 it'll work for blocked content but not show up in the tags? it worked that way in 2016 #haven't checked since #bg3 #text post

Gale finds the idea of 'not overthinking' the ever hungry death orb in his chest hysterical, but Eve assumes he's laughing at her, and huffs about it.

I worry that this joke works better in europe, where it is more normal to assume that someone is being insincere. LOL
