"hey thanks for the notes" My body jumped, surprised looking at him sitting next to me, as I was  looking everywhere for Lia

"Where did Lia go?" I asked him, my face probably looked squash as I pressed my face against my arms

"she sat with Mina since class started" I see everyone get up and pack their stuff

"did class already finish?" I ask and he nods

"shit I missed everything" You rub your good eye 

"don't worry I took notes for you, I guessed you were tired, so don't worry about it" he smiles cutely at you 

"Thanks," you say grabbing the book he is handing you

"Let's  go get lunch" he moves from the desk next to you so you can get out of yours, you nod as you still feel sleepy

you pull your hoodie up trying to cover the mess on your face 

"How is your eye doing?" he asked about you 

"It's doing better, the pain is reduced and it's less swollen" You smile at him happy that he remembered 

"I'm glad" he smiles as silence reaches your conversation 

"would you like to go to a restaurant near campus?" he asks you breaking the silence that lasted 10 seconds but felt like 10 minutes 

"Sure" you try to act cool trying to ignore the hotness in your ears 

we walk to the restaurant talking about a movie that is going to stream on the movie theater soon, hoping he will ask you out to the movies 

"but yeah, the trailer was not that interesting and my sister is going to take me with some of her friends, but I hope is not bait and gets boring" he sighs seeming not to want to go with his sisters's friends 

"well at least you have someone that is going with you" he nods not being convinced you try to be positive, feeling disappointed that it was not you going with him  

"'We're here" he steps inside the restaurant opening the door for you, you bow a little thanking him for his nice gesture 

"what would you like to order?" he asks you as we see the big menu on the TV in front of us 

" a ham and cheese on a roll and an orange drink please" (I'm sorry I had to) you said, if you know you know (I apologize again)

"I will have a double chicken burger and a pineapple shake please," he says as he takes his wallet out, but I make my way to the cashier and pay 

"Wait-no I was going to pay," he says but I swipe my card 

"you already paid for me many times, let me return the favor" You smile kindly to him, feeding your ego that you won your war for once

"You are a menace, I invited you here so I was supposed to pay," he says as he picks up our food and I walk towards a table 

"oh it's fine, you already did so much for me so let me return my gratefulness" You shyly smile at him as he returns you a nice smile with a chuckle feeling beaten at the war

we make our way towards a table and start to enjoy our food 

"Did something happen earlier?" he asked me sipping his shake

"what do you mean" you ask opening your orange drink 

"well I thought you were kind of mad in the morning when you gave the notes, so I don't know what happened " he awkwardly bites into his burger as I remember the feeling of jealousy that went through me earlier 

"Ohh...that, well I just received some information earlier that I didn't like, but don't worry about it" you giggle internally cringing at yourself about your attitude toward him.

"oh ok, I thought something happened to you" he smiles at looks back at his food 

"so how is everything in life going?" you try to make conversation to not sit in an uncomfortable situation 

"well as always drama, work, and school" he chuckles rolling his eyes 

"You?" he asks me trying to switch the conversation toward me 

"Well... it's been fine, I've been watching movies, and reading, that's practically it" You shrug at your routine

"Talking about movies, so you know what movie I would love to see?" you recall your old conversation 

he looks at you with intrigue "Which one?" he cleans his lips with his napkin putting his attention on you 

"Renaissance Beyonce movie" you nod proudly as a beehive 

"You like Beyonce?" he asks me with a smile

"yes I love her, do you?" he nods as I get excited to see another fan 

"We should go and see her movie coming up" he suggests 

"yes, that would be fun" You sip your drink, knowing these plans are never going to become true 

you two finish your lunches and start packing up to go back to school 

as you guys walk towards your class he gets near your shoulders almost touching 

"Are you free later?" he asks you "Yeah" you confirm fastly  then thinking "Why?..." you try to  cover your error by acting cool about him, but he chuckles, "I just wanted to take you out for some late-night tacos and ice cream" he smiles shyly 

"of course, I would love to" You look at the floor getting shy at his proposal 

but your conversation comes to an end when you see the school gate in front of you 

"well I guess this is it" he smiles shyly

"Should I pick you up at 6?" 

"Sure" You nod and start walking waving back at him he waves back and you feel your cheeks getting hot, but now the difficult part is having patience and waiting until 6 pm.

                                                                                     5 pm

You get home and start dinner for your father, not forgetting what happened last week I make sure to do everything for him not to be mad.

I change into a loose black sweater with grey sweatpants to get the cleaning started, but I hear the door open, and I hear my father's footsteps getting closer, he  shouldn't be here until 7... that weird

I listen to him drag his feet from the door to the kitchen where I am right now mopping the floor, our eyes connect and I can see how drunk he is, a beer bottle hanging in his hand and his scent reeking of a cheap rum.

"It's all your fault" he slurs at me

"If it weren't because of you I wouldn't gotten fired" his voice gets louder as he makes his way forward over to me 

"If you weren't born your mother wouldn't have that illness and she would've still been alive" 

"ALL MY MISERY IS YOUR FAULT YOU BITCH!" he screams at me and holds his hand high

but all I felt was a sharp pain in my mouth 

slap.

Hey love here is Chapter 8 plz enjoy

       Tuesday, September 25th 

You put your things in your locker and take what you need to your class but when you get to the door of the class someone bumps aggressively with your shoulder it seems that they are running and that is why they bumped into you, "Sorry Y/n" Sana apologizes while she is trying to get out the class "it's fine" 

you pick your things from the floor and fix your glasses to cover your bruise that looked better today.

"Are you ok?" Chan asks concerned but all the time he looks behind you, his eyes following the female who bumped into you with her eyes puffy and watery 

"Yeah I'm good" You look behind you to see if she is still there "ok," he says still not looking at you but passing you, and runs towards the girl that bumped into you crying

Damn...

Everyone looks at you and the drama that just occurred 

"What happened?" you ask Mina sitting down at your desk 

"Well... it appears that they had a one-night stand 2 nights ago and she thought that they were getting back together but he said no to her" Your eyes widen not being able to comprehend the information that you just received 

wow... they slept together, emptiness fills your heart as disappointment gets to you 

you get to your seat now feeling worse than this morning being all excited to see him again this morning, but nevermind I need to learn my position and that's just being friends with him and that's all 

                                                     9:30 am 

You close your notebook and pens thanking heavens you did understand this class but you see Chan rushing into your statistics class you share with I.N, Mina, Yuna, Lia, and Chan 

he sighs seeing that he missed the class "I.N did you take notes of the class dude?" he rushes to his seat but sees him sleeping in his table

"hey y/n did you took notes for this class?" you grab your notebook and give it to him and shove past him to get ready to your next class

annoyed, that how you feel in this exact same moment, does he not like you but leading you on? you kept thinking about it all class, is he just playing with your feelings or are you getting ahead of yourself?

You get to your locker and walk towards the cafeteria to buy a cookie to fill your empty stomach, "Hello can I have that strawberry cookie please" You take your cash out and pay the lady who you always see with a shitty attitude.

you get outside and sit below a tree that provides nice shade and a breeze "Hey my favorite girl" you hear that voice that always slurs the l when calling you

"hi, Hyujin," you say and he sits beside you "So.. you have any tea for me?"

you look at him confused "What do you mean?" "well you left with him last week am I right?" he wiggles his eyebrows you chuckle and shake your head 

"he has a big dick right?" he remarks as he nods feeling proud of his friend "It's not like that, nothing happened," you say defending yourself 

"Nah I don't believe you" he looks at you in disbelief "So he just talked to you and that was it?" you nod "Be for real right now!" he says in disbelief 

"I'm not lying to you, he just took me to buy something and then left me home"

"He didn't even kiss you or anything?" 

"no why would he, ain't he trying to get back with Sana or something?" you bicker a bit 

"ohh you sound jealous" he smirks

"is not like that" you try to lie "Gurl be for real right now, I've known you since we were in school" he makes a sassy face towards you trying "he is just a kind person that's all" you put your chin on your knees hugging them feeling shy about the conversation 

"but like I heard Sana and Chan slept together 2 days ago," I say, trying to see if the information is false hopping, it is false 

"I don't know about that y/n but I can ask him," he tells me "No don't worry about that" I get scared that maybe he will mention my name while asking

"did it happen again?" he asks me "What happened?" you ask looking at him "Did he... you know hit you again?" you nod 

"yeah Chan figured it out and went to buy me some cream for my eye" 

"oh, yeah he is like that, but maybe... just don't get your hopes up, because he can be like that, I guess he is nice, or he likes you, at the end, I don't know" you shrug not trying to get your hope up 

You always knew Chris was fine, you always saw him walking on the hallways, so you could say he was nothing but a hallway crush, but now that he started to talk to you, you felt important, but maybe your mind is playing tricks on you.

the bell rang so you got up "Bye Hyun-jin" he hugged you, and you felt the pity he gave you in that hug "Remember if you need my help you can call me right? we can call the police again and I will make sure he goes to jail" 

he separated himself from you, and you grabbed your bag leaving as well, but you felt eyes looking at you with disgust and jealousy, of course, they were the cheerleaders, Hyunjin's number 1 fans.

I roll my eyes and walk towards my next class 

You take your things out of your bag and start organizing your desk, clicking your pen out of boredom, but someone sits next to me nudging my arm with their elbow, it is Lia

she made a warning face, her eyes widening at the problem that was happening next to us

I raise my head and look over to my right, seeing  Jake flirting with Yuna "Seems we have a new couple aboard" she wiggles her eyebrows and I smile teasing Yuna when she makes eye contact with us 

I rested my head on my arm again while Lia grabbed her phone, but I felt someone looking at me, I looked forward and I saw Chan looking backward at me, I stared at him while I thrust my head upwards asking if he needed anything, but he just shook his head and positioned himself rightly in his desk, I close my eyes trying to get some rest, but Lia keeps talking to someone until I felt her get up and leave

"Hey, thanks for the notes"

"Are you avoiding me?"  he tells me 

"What? no, I'm not" I shift uncomfortably trying to hide the unexpected news I just got told about him

"Then why are you canceling all our plans and not even looking at me? did I do something wrong?" he asked now stopping walking and turning to face me, so I turned to him 

"Look, I just have a terrible eye infection and I just don't feel comfortable with people seeing it, and it hurts awful, I don't want to seem weird being around you with big ass sunglasses on right?" you try defending yourself 

"ok, come with me" he grabs your hand and pulls you toward the parking lot to his car, I get in with no context thinking how easily I can get kidnaped in life

"where are we going?" he starts the car and gets out of the uni "You'll see" he sighs frustrated 

he parks in a mini station mall where I can see restaurants, boutiques, ice cream shops, and more, I get excited as  I see the ice cream shop going straight to it, but before I enter it Chan grabs my arm and pulls me to the right, "here, we can go there later" he pulls me to a pharmacy

"hello what can I help you with?" the kind lady says  "Hi can we get a cream for an eye infection, please," he says kindly as  I freeze,  I didn't know this was coming. "of course, I will need to see how infected it is soi can refer you to an antibiotic" she smiles looking at him 

I look down as I would not like him to see my bruised eye, I look at him and he pressures me "Don't worry I won't say anything to anyone" he smiles. I take my glasses off and look at the woman. She nodded "Sweetie that is not an infection, that is a bruise caused by a hit" Chan didn't look at me respecting my decisions. Still, when she said it was a bruise he grabbed my face and started examining it, his eyes widened when he saw my eye "But we do have some cream for the swollen area and the pain" she typed something in the computer "We have x product for the swollen area and for the pain..." she searches in the computer "do you have any pain in your eye?" she looks at me "yes I do have lots of pain" I nod and look down feeling guilty about lying to him.

"we will take both, please," he says taking out his wallet "Oh, don't worry Chan I will pay for it," you said putting your glasses back on and taking out your wallet "Don't, I come here to buy you something for your eye so let me" he places your wallet down and he takes out his card to pay

"Thank you have a nice day " She smiles and we leave towards the car, when we both shut the door only silence can be heard 

"Who did this to you?" he tries to say calmly way trying to concentrate looking directly into the road while the car is still parked 

"I -umm" you have trouble telling the truth 

"When did this happen? and why didn't you tell me anything?" 

"I- uh it happened on Saturday" You feel scared not knowing what he is going to do 

"Who did this to you Y/n? I need to know" his worried eyes look back at you 

"my dad" you murmur to him looking down, you never had someone who truly worried about you when this used to happen 

"why the fuck would he hit you?" he looked at you with an unbelievable expression on his face

"Because I came home late last Friday" you murmur not wanting him to feel that this was his fault 

"he hit you becuase you were out late, but aren't you 23?" he looks more shocked and angry than ever

"I'm used to it, ever since my mom died he has been hitting me for any excuse he can find, so don't worry about me," I say looking out the window

"We need to do something about it Y/n I can't let this happen again what the actual fuck is wrong with him?" he starts the car

"I already tried everything and I have nowhere to go, the police won't do anything about it"

"Why don't you move out?" he asks you "My job doesn't allow me with my low income, and trust me if I could I would"

"mhm let me think..." he stays quiet

"don't worry about me Chan I swear it's fine, actually thank you for worrying about me" I express my gratitude towards him  

"look my sister is looking for a roommate, how about you pay the 20% each month and I will pay for the rest and I will talk to her ok?"

"no Chan please, it's fine, that's practically living for free" you saw feeling flustered about his request 

"Another option is living with me, but I don't know how you are going to feel about that" he looks at me

"Chan don't worry about me, I don't want to be a burden to you" 

"ok... just... please call me if he ever does the same thing again" I nod and he smiles at me 

he drives me home and says goodbye to me "Please know that I'm here if you need me ok?"

I nod and wave "Thank you for everything again" he smiles and waves back 

I get inside the house and run towards my room and lock the door, throwing myself in the bed I cover my face in my pillow kicking my feet "Oh my God he is such a bitch" you said giggling and kicking your feet  for making you feel butterflies in your tummy

You get up take a shower, do your skincare, and apply both creams around your eye

you lay back down grabbing a bag of chips in your top drawer and keeping snacks there so you don't have to get out of your room 

you grab your phone and open your contact to Chris's phone number 

                             -Thank you for the cream Chris it helped calm the pain around my eye 

 -ofc Y/nie text me if you need anything else:) 

                                                   - I will thank you again, Chris, good night 

-goodnight Y/n 

you put your phone back down feeling that crazy feeling on your stomach smiling to yourself, but then remember what Mina said about Sana and Chris last time, oh great there goes one of the best days ever.

  Saturday   September  22nd 8am

I get woken by loud banging at my door as I try to open my eyes as I still feel tired

"WAKE UP YOU LITTLE BITCH! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL NIGHT HUH?" he storms into my room as I forget to lock the door last night. My father throws my things from my desk 

"I DIDN'T GET MY DINNER YESTERDAY BECAUSE YOUR WHORING ASS WENT PARTYING LAST NIGHT" he continues screaming and throwing my stuff to the floor, he gets near me and I get up and step backward, but the next thing I see is his fist directly to my face 

                                    Sunday September 23rd  4pm 

I am currently putting ice on my eye because it is all blue and purple, and I am looking for the biggest sunglasses I own to put on for tomorrow at school, the worst thing is that I have a meeting for the group project, and I can't apply makeup because it hurts so much 

Since my mom died my father blamed me for it, he has been physically and verbally abusive to me, and yes I did try to call the police but my father is a psycho and made them believe everything was fine. and that was when I was 14, I wanted to get out of there but my job didn't allow me to get out of my abusive house.

As I try to study for tomorrow's test I feel sleepy, I haven't been able to sleep well because of the pain, So I get some painkillers to kill the pain for now 

                                  Monday September 24th 7am 

I get ready to leave school leave him some breakfast ready eat some myself and go to the bus stop, my eyes are hurting and these big glasses don't let me see correctly.

Lucky for my sister, she doesn't live with us anymore, I asked her before to let me live with her, but her boyfriend doesn't let her, so at the end of the day I am alone, and nobody cares about my situation.

I get to the bus station just in time to get in it and drive away to school.

I walk inside the school and take the fucking stairs that leave me without a fucking lung, my backpack hanging on my shoulders and Chan's cleans clothes in a nice paper bag, I pull my hoodie up my head to hide my face from people seeing me.

I get to my class and see Yuna on her phone and Lia trying to talk to her, I smile and pass through them and get to my spot at the back of the class, and take my phone out.

"yeah but you know you are too good for her bae" I hear a female voice, loud and annoying,  I lift my head to look at this girl who is following Chan to his seat that was 2 tables away from me just to sit at his table at the moment he bent to take out his things for class "oh," he said surprised by her right in front of him, he smiles and says " excuse me  Aein," he said nicely to her

"but I want to sit here with you," she said spreading her legs in front of him, tilting her face sideways trying to be 'cute' "Sure you can sit here" he smiled grabbing his stuff, and moved to the table next to me, I smile in a laughing way by his action and look back down to my phone

He smiled back at the girl and started to organize his stuff, "hey" he talked to me, "hey" I answered without looking at him trying to hide my face from him.

"she gets annoying sometimes," he tells me about the girl rolling his eyes about the situation," you got her deprived man," I said chucking as he laughed "Guess she didn't get enough last time" he chuckles leaning back to the chair and I smile, still having my head staring at my phone.

"what's with the glasses?" he asked changing the awkward convo we had, "I didn't have much sleep last night so I have huge under bags" I fixed the top of my hoodie covering more of my face 

"huh, what kept you sleepless last night? or should  I say who?" he smirks teasing me about things that I know didn't happen,  he laughs when I sucked my teeth at him  and smile/laughed at his teasing 

"no man, I just had a lot of back pain and I couldn't lie down because of it" I rest my head on my hand resting over the desk putting my face close to my phone and distracting him from looking at it  "Yeah right" he smirks so I flip him off laying my head on the desk.

"you free tonight?" he asks me and I move my head lazily looking at him, acting cool while my stomach gives flips

"ye- no..." remembering my eye "What? yes or no?"   

"no...sorry" I said feeling disappointed 

"How about tomorrow?" he asked me hopeful for my answer

"mm... I don't know," I said thinking when my eye could feel better and not use

"Why?" he asked curiously "I've been a bit sick lately so I don't know when I'm going to feel better" I lie 

"Here you go" he hands me his phone with the phone pad ready "Type in your number so I can know how you feel during the week. he smiles sweetly and I grab his phone trying my best to hide my smile 

"Here you go" I give it back to him and receive a little thanks from him but the bell rings so we pay attention to the class

time skip 

I was sitting with Lia, Yuna, Mina, and Tzuyu still covering my eyes with my glasses and keeping my hoodie on

"what's up with the glasses," Mina says "Oh... is cz I got an infection in my eye so it bit red" I lie...again giving an excuse to keep this from embarrassing me

"oh, well I hope you get better," Yuna says, and they all nod 

Mina gasped and said, "Did you guys hear what happened in 3rd period yesterday?"

"No, what happened?" Lia says waiting for the tea Mina is about to give us

"Chaeyoung saw Chan and Sana coming out of the boys' changing room at the soccer field," she said nodding her head, dramatically telling us the story 

"Really? Is that why she came back with bruises on her neck?" Tzuyu said

"My omg they were hickeys?" all the girls gasp 

"no way! are they back together?" Yuna asks "What do you mean back together?" I ask confused "You didn't know girl? Sana dated Chan for about 2 years," Lia says

"Yeah there was even a rumor she was pregnant," they say while I stay in shock "But... how didn't I know?" I said calculating all the years I've been here and not noticing something like that 

"Well they kept it a secret all that time, don't ask me why," Mins says 

"She told us once near the lockers and some other chick heard and started making rumors saying she was pregnant" They all gasped "I do remember that" 

your shocked look made everyone laugh, "you did know Chan is just a huge playboy right?" Mina said "Yeah girl I've seen him spend more time with you each day, just be careful and don't let your heart betray you, I mean if you want to have your fun with him go ahead but don't think he has a crush on you or something" Yuna warns me about him 

I feel...jealous. uncomfortable with the news? why tho? 

we finish out part of the project for the day I pack my stuff and get ready to head home before my father does, I walk through the corridors when I felt an arm around me "Hey miss gurl" he slurs the l "What do you want Hyun-jin" I ask again in a bad mood "you can't believe the tea I have, I dared Lee Know to sleep with Aerin the tall cheerleader, yk?" he looks at me with his arm still hooked on my neck and I nod "but when they were in the middle of taking his clothes off can you imagine Aerin had a dick" he laughs "I made poor minho go through all that just to find out he was a boy " I looked shocked at him as I didn't expect him to be a boy "but did they fuck?" I ask

"well he told me he didn't mind and fucked her," he says dramatically "i swear Min-ho is the freakiest of all of us" he shakes his head in disbelief " I mean there is nothing wrong with that but just imagine the surprise, but the thing is he took the opportunity with both hands...literally" he burst out laughing not getting over the fact he fucked a man

"but you know I've always seen Lee Know flirt with men, but it just took me by surprise," he says and I giggle 

"Are you talking our shit with her?" Chan catches up with our pace "Yes and you can't tell me shit" Hyunjin continues walking with his arm around me

"but yeah that was my weekly dose of tea for you little girl, I will tell you some more next week," he says all of us are still walking and talking about something else but I still can't get myself to look at Chan feeling guilty of my delusions I had of him

"hey, Jinnie can I take her away from you for a minute?" Chan asks in the middle of a conversation 

"sure dude, bye cakes bye Chan see you all soon, oh! And have fun" he winks and salutes us before turning  around and leaving us alone calling my nickname from elementary teasing me knowing I hate that nickname

He parks the car and gets out "Oof it chill outside he goes to the back of his car grabs a hoodie and puts it on "Are you cold?" he asks me as I'm wearing a skirt a crop top and a small leather jacket covering me only

"yeah kinda but don't worry about it, it's fine," I said to him so he didn't have to take off his hoodie

but someone cuts him off by whistling "You look, good mama, how much per hour?" a group of high school boys screams at me laughing and checking me out, but Chris walks up to them "You gotta problem man?" he warns the highschool boys, and they start nervously laughing, of course, they got scared Christopher has a really good and big shape compared to a boy "no man sorry didn't mean to ruin your night with the slut" one of the boys speak trying to be cool blowing vape out of his mouth "you know kids that not a way you treat a lady" he tries to stay cool and not lose his temper but the boys act like they don't care then suddenly one of them gets closer to Chris trying to intimidate him but Chan swings first as the boy touches the ground "who's next?" Chan asks smirking at them and then looking at their name tag in their uniform " Misul, Taehoon, Eunro from Light High School, now I have the names and addresses of where you guys are, so don't be surprised if you get called in the office tomorrow" one of the boys tries to run away while the other one is still on the floor holding his nose but he catches him by the collar with one hand " Learn how to treat a lady, that not how you talk to them you heard me?" Chris raises his voice at him  "Y-yes" they all answer "Now apologize to the young lady here" he says with the same angry tone "W-we're sorry m-miss" he lets go of them and the kids run back to their houses "and stop smoking if you want to live longer" Chan screams at them before turning around to look at me/

"Are you ok?" he asked me and I nodded still with a shocked face 

"Is your hand ok," you said trying to grab his hand and look at it 

he shook his hand and said "I'm fine don't worry about me" he smiled reassuring me "Do you still want to eat ice cream? Or do you want to go back home?" he asks me 

"I would like to but I think I chose the wrong outfit for today and I'm feeling kinda uncomfortable with people I don't know," I say looking down as I think I just lost my opportunity to go for ice cream with him 

"no worries look, you know I work right?" I nod to him "My work is 2 hours away from him that's why I'm not here weekends because that's when I work... anyways, I always have clean warm clothes for the drive" he said getting to the back of the car, and opening a bag and takes out some sweatpants and a hoodie " so you can change into this if you want, and to be more comfortable" he suggested as he smiles at me "thanks but where can I change?" I look around for public bathrooms but I don't see none "Umm good question, you can change in the car if you want i swear I will look, and nobody is around this corner so nobody will look at you" his dimples always showing his kindness Inod as he opens the back of the car door and closes it before turning around 

I take off my skirt and then put on his sweatpants, take off the leather jacket, and put on his hoodie, I make sure my hair is still nice and get out of the car.

"see you look even cozier now," he remarks on my appearance as his clothes look huge on me now "But you still look very nice," he says as he puts his hands in his pockets, I smile at him and look down at the clothes that I have on and back to him "thank you very much I'll make sure to give it back safe and sound" my feelings getting the best of me and making me smile like a dork. he smiles back and puts around my shoulder to make sure I cross the street safely 

after we crossed the street he let go, but something inside me didn't want him to let go,istg I'm,  so touched-deprived because why the fuck am I so nervous? is my first time going out with this dude... you need to chill y/n I think to myself, this is not even a date, I need to seek help, I swear I blame it on the books... but... is it his smile? or the way he talks? his kindness? 

"Y/n are you listening?" he talks to me "Huh? Sorry?" he laughs 

"I asked what is your favorite ice cream flavor?" he looks at me while we walk

"oh," I chuckled "Strawberry anything that has strawberry I like" I looked at him and then directed my gaze to the floor and smiled to myself "Yours?" I asked back the question 

"mine is cookie dough, I know I might sound like a kid but that shit is good" We both laugh 

"I mean cookie dough is very nice, to be honest," 'yeah it is" The silence gets back to us so I try to make conversation again

"thank you for defending me tonight, I'm grateful," I said looking at him "Don't worry about it, no one should treat a woman like that in their life" he grabbed my shoulders from behind to turn me to the side and enter the ice cream shop "oh were here," I said surprisingly by the time that went flying "yep were here so look out for what you want to get," he said as I get near the ice cream flavors to see if they have any strawberry flavor left, he stands next to me and looks for a flavor he wants to try, 

I point to the strawberry milk-flavored ice cream and look at him with a big smile on my face "I want this one" "ok great we will get that one then!" he smiles at your cuteness 

We go to the cashier and he asks me to order first "I'll take 1 scoop of strawberry milk flavor please!" my excitement for ice cream takes over me but I feel him chuckle next to me "I'll get chocolate mint" he says as I take out my wallet "no, no, no what are you doing?" he rushes he sentences as I stop my movements to look at him slowly feeling I did something wrong "what?... I'm just trying to pay..." scared that he will scold me because of something.

"Don't worry about it is on me" he smiles and lowers the cash on my hand and smiles at me sweetly while he takes his card out to pay "No it's really fine I can pay I - you have done so much for me today, is the least I can do" I beg him but he looks at me and smiles generously again.

"I'll pay. let it be on me today, next time you pay" he winks at me and continues to pay the man 

"Are you sure I ca-"

"girl let him pay for you can't you see he wants to" The guy who is serving our ice cream talks to me  he smiles teasing me as if we were on some type of date, and I blush hard "Sorry" I apologize 

"there is no need to apologize, I told you that next time you got it, k?"

"yeah, thank you" "No problem love" and here we go again with these fucking butterflies, I feel that my heart is going to drop to the floor 

"thank you" I thank the kind soul who served me my ice cream and start eating it happily 

"do you wanna walk or stay inside?" Chan asks me and I reply "How about we walk in the park?" 

He nodded and we started walking and eating our ice cream, the silence was there but it wasn't awkward it was nice and refreshing, as we reached to the corner of the park I turned to keep going in circles but he continued, so we bump into each other and his ice cream gets on his hoodie 

"Oh my God I'm so sorry" I bowed to a 09 degree and started to look in my purse for paper, but he laughs

"It's fine no worries, are you ok?" he asks concerned when he is the one with ice cream on himself 

"I'm so sorry" the Kleenex and started to clean the small amount of ice cream that got on him 

"Don't worry about it," he says but I still panic and continue to clean him "Hey" he grabs my hand from his chest and makes me look at him "It's fine I'm ok" he grabs the paper, and cleans his the cream from his chest "it was just a small drop" he cleans it easily and continues walking 

"you do not have to apologize like that, it was just a little accident," he tells me patting my head but I still look down ashamed 

"there is no need to apologize for everything ok?" he says in a cute concerned voice, and I nod 

"look how about if we go to the swings?" he proposes 

"yeah that will be fun" I smile at him as we both go on the swing like little children and swing ourselves softly as the nice wind of 1 am hits our faces "So you got anything to do tomorrow?" he asks me "Well technically today," I said looking at my phone.

"Well, nothing it's Saturday so ima be sleeping and maybe finish some work." I played with the strings of the hoodie "You?

"Thankfully I can work from home tomorrow so I'ma just work and getting some school shit done and yeah rest If I can" he laughs to himself and I smile along

I feel my eyes grow heavier as I haven't slept  all day "Hey one question" he asks me 

"yeah what is it" I answer looking at him "can i get your number?" looking at me nervous about my answer  "Yeah of course" he gives me his phone and I type my number on his screen

"there you go" i smile weakly as my sleepy state gets to me, and he gets up

"well I think is time for you to go home, you look very tired and a princess like you needs her beauty sleep," he says stretching his body as we walk back to the car

I chuckled and looked down to cover my red cheeks 

as we enter the car the drive is silent and I feel my heavy eyelids close every passing second so I put my head against the window and fall asleep 

time skip 20 minutes

2:30 am 

"hey we here" I feel someone shaking my shoulder lightly i get out of the window but feel something soft supporting my head 

"he nervously passes his hand through his neck and says "Sorry is cz you bumped your head with the window while I was driving so I put  a small pillow against it"

he smiles "Thank you" I get my stuff ready and get out of the car "Thank you again for everything Chan" I smile a bow a little 

"You welcome love, anytime" he smiles but he also looks tired, now I feel guilty for bothering him this late 

he waits until I open the door at my house so he can leave, I see his car drive away through my window, and throw myself in my bed

i feel stupid for giggling and kicking my feet, but gosh his smile is precious and he is so kind, he is such a gentleman, and he is very good-looking as well.

my thoughts continue as I fall asleep on my bed in his clothes his scent all over his clothes and with that my eyes shut close.

You wake up stretching your arm to feel him close and hug him in the morning but you don't feel him there, your lonely bed just a ray of sunlight hitting the floor in front of your bed you sit up worrying about where he went, You cover your naked body with the sheets trying to look for an answer but no sign of him.

Your eyes started to get watery as small tears started to pour out your eyes as you cuddled yourself with your banket letting sobs out your mouth.

Last night's argument led us to have angry sex, one of the best we ever had, but it didn't seem to get better after it though, ofc we had a cuddle session afterward but I think it's better to talk it out first

I turn around in my bed to face him but I'm met with an empty space, I immediately sit up and look around for him, I grab a shirt from his shirt from our closet and start looking for him in the bathroom, but he isn't there, I looked in the kitchen but it was empty, I started to get nervous as I don't see him

I don't want him to leave me just because of a fight, just because got insecure and jealous because he was talking with a college after work

I don't want to end like this my heart races as my eyes get teary

"Lee knows babe where are you" My voice sounded desperate as sobs start to leave me, I sat on the couch and hugged my knees trying to put pressure on my chest to not start a panic attack.

I cry hard enough that makes my chest hurt, feel disowned, and unloved making me rethink how should I acted yesterday, I shouldn't accused him of something that I misunderstood

"y/n?" I hear the front door open I turn around to look at him, I stand up and run to him, putting my arms around him

"what happened? Are you ok? Are you hurt?" he pulled away to check my body and see if I was ok, but since I didn't respond he hugged me a put a hand on my chest making me feel safe around him

"I thought you really left," I said trying to stop crying "no baby I'm sorry I did t mean what I said yesterday, I promise you I will never leave you ok?" he assures me, and hugs me again "I'm sorry as well"

I cried into his chest "Look don't cry I left to grab some breakfast for us" he kissed my head and led us to the table and started breakfast.

last night I was feeling really bad, and Chanbin cuddled me all night as I cried on his chest feeling bad about having a mental breakdown, On our 2nd anniversary he was there with me all the time, and until now

I just woke up and I wanted to have more time with him before he left to work, but can't see him anywhere, was I too annoying last night? did I cry too much that I bored him? Maybe he got mad and left for work without saying goodbye.

Hyunjin has been busy he has been more at work, finishing his artwork for his presentation next month I know it takes its time but I need him now more than ever I need him to be with me to hold me and love me, so my Idea of last night was to get him all up on me and

it did work

I wake up in the morning but I hear the shower on he is getting ready to leave for work, Why can't he stay with me? he always leaves early 7 am and gets back at midnight, so we don't have time together, feeling tired I sit up and look for my clothes, but get too dizzy and sit back down, I try once more and grab my clothes, get dressed in my comfortable pj's I sit on the edge of the bed looking at out bathroom door waiting for him to get out.

He gets out only with some joggers on, drying his hair and looking for his shirt "I'm going to be back late again, so don't wait for me" he says looking another way as he is getting dressed "You leaving me alone again?" he nods looking at you with empathy " Sorry work has been very busy" he continues to dress himself "can't we be together for some time?" you ask "we had our time last night baby" he turns his head to the side and looks back at the mirror "yeah but I need you more than anything right now" "I know me too but life is tough sometimes" he kisses my forehead before putting his shoes on " Hyunjin wait... really I need you by my side... I don't want to be alone right now" your tears fall down your cheeks as you look at him

"Don't cry y/n I will be back don't worry" he kisses you and opens the door

"Hyunjin I'm pregnant," you say fast, and his tracks stop

"What?" he looks back shocked waiting for this to be your joke of the week

"I'm 2 months in already and I just didn't know when to tell you because you were always busy" You cry even harder, scared of his reaction "Oh my go- why didn't you tell me sooner, baby I should've taken better care of you" He comes back and hugs you tight

"it's ok don't worry, I'm here and I'm not going anywhere, baby" he sits back down on the bed and lays you down on his chest while you cry " I'm going to be here with you all the time, he kisses you and cuddles next to you, forgetting about work and about stress now he can only think about his baby mama and his baby right now.

"Hey, calm down girl it's ok, I will be there for you" I calm her down "Thanks, but you know... it's not because I'm jealous of my brother is just that she is such a pick me and every fucking girl is gushing over him and it's just so annoying" I understand her, I wouldn't like seeing my brother with some other girl in my house about every day

Yeji and I get ready to head to her house, we walk outside the school's door and feel the nice weather hitting our faces "Ain't it lovely Yeji" I smile loving this weather and wishing it would be like this everyday

"the weather is nice" she smiles and closes her sweater, "how about we watch the new movie that just came out 2 weeks ago?" she asks me "What movie?" "hey y/n" Hyunjin smiles at me while making something to eat for himself "Hey Hyunjin" my heart drops as I didn't see him at first

It's normal for me to be at their house so he is accustomed to seeing me around here, we have known each other since I was 5 and he was 6, Yeji and I knew each other from kindergarten and we always used to play with her brother in my house or her house, so we become friends a long time ago, but I feel like it all changed since we entered high school since I was 15 we don't talk as much as before, just small talks, no more movie nights or baking time with him like we sorta got uncomfortable with each other, he also became Mr, popular at school so I believe he feels better than us now. Now I'm 17 and he is 18 and yeah we are in the same grade because his dumbass failed chemistry in 10th grade, obviously, he was so busy fucking his ex-girlfriend and doing her work for her than concentrating on himself that he was swept away 1 whole year because of it.

"How are you doing?" he asked me smiling at me and looking back down at his sandwich "I'm doing good and you?" I ask looking the popcorn to put it in the microwave. "I've been good, what are you guys doing today?" he asked me to make another of our famous small talks "We are going to watch a movie and maybe I'm staying over" I smiled and continued doing my work. "nice, lucky you, I have to do a project for history fro next week" "ah yeah the ones about the empires?" I ask "Yeah, I got put in with Ashley" he whispers and rolls his eyes at me showing his annoyance, and I laugh silently "It would've been better if I got chosen to be with you, you are pretty smart and organized, and we known each other for most of our life" he continues to finish his sandwich. "yeah right? I got chosen with Lia, so it was not bad at all, just her brother is a bit creepy" I say making a weird face remembering her brother and how immature he acts.

"oh yeah Daniel is awful" I nodded and put the popcorn in the microwave not forgetting what he said about me my tummy filled with butterflies, but again I reminded myself I couldn't let these feelings get the best of me, he barely talks to me and yeji would be so mad at me if I ever get to date him.

"But if you ever need me to him in his place please tell me and I will do it with pleasure" he smiles grabs his plate and rubs my head while passing by to the living room.

my cheeks got all red by his touch, I placed my hands over them to soothe them down the popcorn finishes and I get out of the kitchen

"oh Hyuinjin you so funny" I hear a girl exaggerating her laugh, ofc she is here, I feel a bit down and go to Yeji's room.

"everything is ready" I get to her bed and put the bowl in the middle of both of us she starts the movie and we are already melting by seeing Dong Wooks face.

something in me doesn't let me concentrate on the movie and a tinge of jealousy gets to me, it should've been me who was with Hyun-jin right now, not Ashley.

7:24pm

"May I join" Someone opens the door and looks at Yeji with pleading eyes "No go fuck yourself" She stretches and lays down in another position, so I move aside and pat the side of my bed to let Hyunjin join us "See she's nice, unlike you?" he says getting on the bed sticking his tongue out at her "no y/n why did you let him in!" she groans while saying it getting annoyed and moving to the side of the bed to give me more space, he lays on his stomach and hugs a small pillow and gets near me, his head touching my arm of how close he is to me.

Butterflies run through my stomach as I try to control my breathing so I do not blush.

15min later

"He's not that even good looking," He remarks making both of our heads look at him "Shut up you dickhead, he is the most handsome guy to ever exist" She throws a pillow at him, but he throws it back, sitting up and getting comfortable back in the sheets, now sitting like I've been doing this whole time, but our arms connect he looks down on me and smiles, I smile back and quickly look back at the movie, now I do feel my cheeks blush

"did you see how hot Lee Yeon's brother is?" yeji asked me "Yes Rang has that type of bad boy vibe right? but he is so gentle on the inside like he is so cute" I say as we comment on the series. But I feel Hyuinjins head on my shoulder hugging my arm trying to get comfortable on the bed, Yeji gives her back to me and I see her sleepy eyes trying to fight the urge to fall asleep, I pat her head gently making sure she gets some rest but I feel Hyun-jin caressing my arm with his thumb up and down. I feel his breath get more relaxed but I tense up feeling nervous about him.

I try to ignore it and continue watching the movie "Yeji look at the puppy" I pout looking at how cute he is "yeji?" I called her again but I heard no response from her "Did she fall asleep already?" he asked me

"mhm, I think she did" I try to shake her but she does not react, hating that she left me alone with her brother again.

"mmh ok, I'm going for something to eat wanna come?" I nod and get out of bed with him turning the TV and lights off for yeji to sleep as we walk out to the kitchen.

"what are you craving?" he asks me "What about some ramyeon?"

"Sure that sounds good" he started to boil the water while I took the packets out

"so... how did the project go? I asked curiously about the 2 of them

"it was... ok I guess, I kinda ended up doing it all by myself and she was very annoying btw," he said a bit disappointed.

"well I'm sorry to hear that," I said relieved to hear that it didn't go well between them, he got next to me to grab the cups of noodles, and our hands brushed each other, our eyes met and our bodies froze

He pecked my lips and stared into my eyes waiting for my reaction, my eyes widened and my mouth gaped looking at him in shock, but I didn't say anything staying in the same position.

"I'm sorry I shouldn't done that without asking you, I-I thought t-that maybe you wanted i-it"he stutters nervously looking everywhere but my eyes.

"W-why did you kiss me?" I asked in shock, his face in fear "I'm sorry y/n I couldn't stop myself I don't know what came over me, I-Ii just really like y-you and-"

"You WHAT?!"

"I like you y/n, I have since we were young" I stare at him in pure shock

"wait so wait what? so you like me? And you tell me until now?"

I was having a shit day today, my boss won't let me have any breaks because he wants us to work overtime without any extra pay, so why not drink wine on my sofa? feeling the chilly wind flow through the window all the way to me hitting my skin, I grab my phone that is on the table and call my best friend Hyunjin over, as we usually do, just midnight talk with some hot Cheetos on his lap and some beer, but tonight you were feeling different.

you and Hyunjin were always very close friends that even your friends didn't believe you were not dating him, maybe people thought like that because of the language you guys use with each other

those not-so-innocent touches when you danced at a club or those sweet talks when you were feeling down, those caresses he played with his fingers against your face, or those late-night calls, talking nonsense until one of you fell asleep, or those late-night shit talks about each other days like tonight

You called him for your weekly meeting talks and he said he was on his way, one thing you really liked about him was that he always puts you first no matter what, the time or place he will always go to you when you need him the most.

But as I said today you were not drinking beer but you were drinking wine feeling dangerous you took your other 2 bottles out of the cabin and set them up on the table got some fruits set up and some crackers, and you played some soft R&B instrumental for background music as you were swaying with your robe on a tank top and some shorts.

You heard the doorbell ring but he entered by himself, of course, he has the key to your apartment

"hey love," he said as you turned around smiling at him

"hi Hyune, how was your day? you asked as he got closer encircling his arms around your waist and placing a soft kiss on your cheek as you let yourself melt into him, he always greets you so delicately.

"my day was ok," he said smiling at you and taking something out of the plastic bag he brought with him

"How was yours?" he asked in a sweet manner putting his attention on me as I walked closer to the counter where he was preparing something for us "My day has been shit like always you know"

He chuckles at my comment that has been the same for weeks now

"well I hope I can make it better, I even brought whiskey for tonight" he held up the bottle of Johnie Walker for me to see.

"Nice we thought the same in changing the drink, cz I brought wine," I tell him while going to the small table in front of the sofa and showing him the bottles it took out

He gets some small cups and ice for the whiskey and accompanies me to the sofa where I have been sitting and waiting for him.

He sits and turns my way putting his knee on the couch and his elbow on the sofa backrest taking a sip of his glass.

"What happened today love," he says his eyes gazing at mine softly but charmingly "Well you know the same shit as always with my boss" I express my stress to him

"you always know you can go to my company and make you my assistant love," he tells me for the nth time, "yes I know but I don't want people to think that I got there because you know me or something

Oh if I forgot to mention he owns an electronics company that has many factories around the world, but I want to feel that I got to my success alone and by myself just as he did.

"I know love, but I don't want you to stress more than you are just because of work, and you know I pay well" he expresses his worry for me but gets closer to me to caress my thigh as 'comfort'

"yeah... maybe I should change to your company like I want to be happy, I'm so tired and stressed" I finish my glass of wine that I started and leave it on the coffee table as he downs his drink without scrunching his face.

His face is majestical his features are sharp and take me to wonderland, wondering what those lips taste like.

he serves us more licor and gets back to the sofa closer to me and more comfortable

"you know I would never harm you at work and I will respect your time love," he caresses my cheeks and I feel them burn up, so I rest my face in his hand while our eyes never lose each other, but my shyness gets the best of me and I look away.

So he takes my leg and puts it on top of his and starts to rub my thigh, I gulp and look at his hand, gosh that hand, strong, veiny, and long, long fingers, I wonder again what can he do with those beautiful fingers.

"So how about you quit your job tomorrow and come with me next week?" he offers throwing his head back onto the couch still running his fingers through my leg.

"Well, how about your current assistant, what are you going to do with her?" I ask feeling guilty about her losing her job because of me

"well, that's how life is, i will just fire her and hire you" he gives little palms to my thigh looking at me with his head thrown back and his black hair softly moving along with the fresh wind the window allows to enter.

"no, I wouldn't like someone losing their job because of me" Guilt eating me up inside and he noticed that

"Well I kinda have to let her go you know, she's been acting too bitchy towards me," he says taking the last sip of his liquor glass

"And you know I would do anything for you" he looks at me with his loving eyes making me blush and look down but suddenly we both sit up, my legs still on top of his, he smiles at me and takes the whiskey to fill out cups again

then he grabbed a strawberry I placed before he came and placed it in front of me while his gaze directed to the table to get himself one, but his eyes widened when he felt me bite the strawberry from his hands

Our eyes made contact while I chewed on the sweet fruit placed in my mouth till I swallowed, our eyes were screaming lust, and desperation for each other, his hand moved from my thigh towards my hip gripping the side of me, but our eyes never left each other, he suddenly kissed me.

his lips felt so soft, the taste of liquor on both of our mouths, lingering between our tongues his other hand caressed my neck as reached for his cheek, but it got heated very quickly he laid me down on the couch now caressing my waist all the way to my things as my legs wrap around him. our eyes always closed until he separated our lips

"you don't know how much I waited for this," he says panting as I feel aroused by him in the best way possible, I smile as he continues to speak "May I have you tonight love?" he asks me for consent

"yes, yes you may" I answered and he went back down kissing me softly going slowly because we had time, there was no need to rush.

As I get out of the car, I can see the flashing colored lights that blind my sight as I wait for Chan to get out of the car I nervously stare at the people outside and inside the house, the sliding glass doors that let the visibility of everyone outside see what's going on inside.

"Are you ready?" he tells me next to some excited to get the party going "Yeah" I try to sound as excited as him.

We go inside the house, the atmosphere is hot, with bodies pressing along each other, dirty dancing on the floor, sloppy kisses in a corner, and alcohol by the door.

trying to squeeze through the crowd was a challenge as Chan took me to meet his friends, yeah, his friends, we'll see how that goes.

"what's up," Chan shouted trying to make a conversation with the boys over the loud music 

"This is y/n everyone!" he presented me to his group of friends 

everyone greeted you in a friendly way 

"hey I'm Felix" he made his way to your hand in a friendly way  "Hi Felix I'm Y/n"

"yeah we've heard of you," a boy with a cute smile said "Oh my name is I.N btw" 

you bowed a little to greet him. 

As everyone greeted you, you looked everywhere trying to get used to the ambiance around you

"Well, I'm going to get myself something to drink. do you want something?" he asked me shouting near my ear because of the loud music "Yeah sure," I said shyly as I felt him close to me he left me with his friends to enter the kitchen I felt the music get louder and people started jumping and dancing to the song, but I felt a grip my hip and sway me to the music and his hand guided lower to my leg centering in my lower body more and more so I turn around but encounter a random guy, the guy that was trying to dance with me!! my eyes widen and I slapped him in the face and left as I heard him scream "What the Fuck you bitch?" and run to the kitchen as I was passing by someone blew a cloud of smoke on my face, I coughed violently "What the fuck dude?!" I look back as he looks high as hell and smirks at me, I roll my eyes and look for Chan all over the big kitchen and see him leaning against a counter talking to a girl who is all over him touching his chest and almost putting her leg on top of him. 

I stare at him but his eyes find mine and he straightens his pose trying to get to me, but I leave and try to find the door, I find Changbin grinding with a girl and getting in my way, Felix sees me and stops me "what happened where are you going?" he tells me with a concerned face "nothing I just need some air" I said trying to pass me but he stopped me again. "ok you can come to me and tell me if anything happens" he smiles to me reassuringly. I swear he is too nice to be with these shitholes.

As I get out of the place I call my sister but I don't get enough signal as I walk further away from the house, I kick a rock out of frustration and try to call my sister again but nothing, I hate my fucking life, as I'm walking downhill to get to the city and call cab I feel chill as is very cold outside and I didn't bring warm clothes. 

I fucking hate that he lied to me, he said he was going to stay all night with me but no, he went with another chick to flirt or make out!, but why am I even bothered considering that I know his reputation from people who told me all around school? 

I seriously need help and stop reading those fake ass books that only get me to illusion myself to think he was being nice to me for a reason... or two... but that's not the case, I need to learn that what goes through my mind is not real, only the books can have that delusion written all over it.

I also feel scared as that weird man touched me like that, it was so inappropriate and I feel disgusting because of it, doesn't he know what respect is? I feel so uncomfortable for letting myself go into an ambiance that I know is not my safe zone, I feel guilty as I felt someone touch my body that way even if I didn't want to, While in my thoughts my tears escape my eyes as I'm sobbing, how stupid am I? 

I huff as the night gets colder and scarier as there is no source of light in this street, it gets creepier and alone but see a car turn and start following me behind, but the blinding lights of it don't let me see who it is, so I start walking faster, the creeps running through my spine and the hairs of my skin rise against my leather jacket. but the car reaches my steps and stands next to me as I see it roll down the window 

"Why did you go?" oh... it's Christopher  

"Nothing I'm fine, you can go back if you want" I do not look at him as I know my eyes must be red from crying and continue walking.

"no I promised you I would be with you" he continued the car at my pace

"well I didn't see anything of that happening" I walked faster as I didn't want to see him but his car followed next to me "I'm sorry okay?" he stopped the car and got out of it and ran to me 

He grabs my shoulders as he stands right in front of me "Let's just get inside the car and talk about it yeah?" he tries to persuade me to get in the car, and I do.

"why'd you leave" he says as I try to put my seatbelt on 

"well I didn't see you so I thought you left" I lie

"but you saw in the kitchen tho," he says the truth like an idiot 

"yeah but I saw you were busy so I thought you wouldn't spend time with me at the party," I said looking down feeling like a child who is about to get scolded 

"no love I promised you I would be there and yes I apologized because I left and talked to someone else, but my intention never was to leave you alone," he says looking at me but my head held low "But you did" I mumbled, he sighed "I'm sorry ok?" he expresses himself by putting his hand on my thigh and then on his chest "I promise to never do that again, that was very low of me" I looked at him while he looked at me, fucking butterflies why now, I feel the heat hit my ears and cheeks, I need to get a hold of myself

"but even when you saw you should've talked to me," he said starting the car once dating and driving, "yeah but either way I was uncomfortable," I said as I checked if my makeup was ruined on the car's mirror.

"why love did someone do something to you?" he said caringly

"Yeah, a guy... you know" I stopped as I felt my eyes get watery "he touched me inappropriately"

"He touched you" he exclaimed as he was surprised by my answer

"Yeah I was very scared," I said cleaning my tears   

"Did you do something about it? you should have called me or one of the guys" he raises his voice in anger 

"I'm sorry" I apologize and he changes his mood

"I'm not mad at you love, I'm mad at that bastard, he can't be treating ladies like you like that," he said looking at the road a bit mad "And don't cry ok? You're at least safe, you with me now" he smiles and caresses my shoulder, fucking butterflies again, am I that touched deprived or is he just too touchy to have talked a week ago?

"how about  if we go do something you like?" he says and I nod 

"what do you like to do at night" his sweet and caring smile looks at me as I look out the window of shyness

"I like to walk at night and eat some ice cream, I like quiet places" I express my liking to him as he pays attention to me 

"ok so let us go to the park and eat some ice cream," he says enthusiastically

Now the real question is wtf do you wear to a party? do I wear a dress? no, all my dresses are spring dresses they are not party-like.

"hey," my older sister says entering my room and throwing herself in my bed "Hey," I said looking at my closet while having a  crisis choosing what to wear, so I chose baggy jeans and a big shirt with Beyonce on it " so you wanna go eat some ice cream at the park, It's night time and it's dark just how you like it yk, all quiet and shit, like the old grandma you are," she said looking at me.

"I'm going out,"  I said as I was putting my jeans on  "What were?" she asked sitting back up and looking at the girl who never goes out and just stays home "A party a guy invited me to this frat," I said casually pretending not to be nervous.

"wait so a boy invited you to a party and you going out looking like that?" she said as I looked at myself in the mirror, "hey there's nothing wrong with Queen B," I said offended "Obviously There is nothing wrong with Beyonce is just that in a party you don't wear casual clothes trust me," she said getting up and going to the room that is next to hers and getting something in her closet

she came back with a black loose but very short skirt and a combined black crop top "This is what you wear if you wanna impress a guy yk, if you want to get laid tonight nobody is looking at you with that on" "girl I'm not trying to impress nobody or getting laid and you know that," I said annoyed about her comment. "Just put it on trust me" "No I'm not putting it on I'm good as I am"  "Yes babe I know but if you want to try to get friends at least dress cool to a party" After thinking it I decided to put it on, I want to be popular have friends like Hyunjin said, I want to be different but tho let me put a jacket on first cz this outfit is just not me.

8:36 pm

As I was waiting impatiently for Chan to come I was nervous, what if this was a prank and he tried to make fun of me? what if this is just another stupid bet like the one you heard these stupid kids do, what if he just left without me to make me illusion myself that I was accompanied by someone at this party... ugh I  can't let this happen, as I retract myself from going to this party as I hear a honk on my front door "Hey I'm so sorry I'm late he shouts from the car's window as I  go outside "come inside" he said waving his hand at me, I go to the car and open the door to my seat and get comfortable "no worries" I express some sympathy with him and continue to put my seatbelt on. "I was busy with a music project due this Monday," he said smiling  at me "Sorry again I didn't mean to make you feel like I forgot or something," he said reassuring me driving away from my parking lot, "It's fine no worries I was just finishing a book I'm reading," I said fiddling with my index finger "ohhhh nice what you read," he said looking at the road making conversation "uhh books" I laugh nervously 

He chuckles "Yeah but what kind of books silly," he says smiling still looking at the road, "well you know... the ones that have words on them" You chuckled awkwardly wishing for this topic to end, and all he does is laugh and look at you with a smirk converting into a smile "what do you mean the ones that have words on them? Do you read naughty things or what?" he said knowing god damn that I do but he just wants to tease me "NO no way I would never read that," I said getting defensive but my ears betraying me as I feel the heat of embarrassment flowing against my skin "sure..." he says smiling trying to sound convinced by my statement "No, I mean it I don't" I again try to prove him wrong, but something I never learned was to lie "ok yeah sure" he again sarcastically "you know, to make you feel better" he stops clearing his throat and looking at me and back to the road "you know Seugmin?" he waits for my answer  looking back at the road

"the brown hair boy? the most normal out of all of you?" I ask him "Yeah that one" he confirms my assumptions "he reads all that nasty shit, every time we go to a library he has a stack of them ready to read and buy them" he chuckles remembering the actions of the sweet boy that you see almost every day at the hallways "so I think you guys can be good friends you know, I can introduce you guys" he laughs as I hit his arm "I swear I don't read that"I get more embarrassed as I try to prove my not so innocent ass.

"sure love sure," he says trying to calm down from laughing so much I'm getting red at his comment  "You know I would've believed you if you didn't get defensive at all, but your cheeks tell me something else," he says looking at me "but it's fine they say those girls are the most interesting to talk to," he says looking back at the road.

"Really? Why is it?" you ask curiously "idk that's what they say, they say that you girls hold dark secrets," he says making it sound like he is narrating a scary story, I laugh "What is that supposed to mean?" I say between laughs, he also laughs" idk you know what people say right, that they are the freakiest ones" he laughs as you look uncomfortable at the topic knowing that it is true but how would you know, you never experienced something like that "but of course not you because you don't read that stuff" he says sarcastically again as you smile and roll your eyes at him.

he keeps driving as you see the big house under the name of Hwang Hyunjin full of people and loud music 

"Remember don't worry about the people or anything like that, I'm going to be by your side all the time, or I'll try to, nah just kidding I will be there with you just tell me if you want to leave but try to have fun, I will take care of you" he smiled ensuring me to have fun and not worry about anything

"Thanks, Chan," you said nervously as you saw his cute dimples showing out as his smile grew into a big one, it was nice for someone to show some kindness towards you as no one ever did to you besides your sister

Just a bet Chapter 2

As I sat with the girls at the table they only looked at me confused and then at Chan and then back at me, "Oh, he said he wants to study with us...hope it's not a problem" I say with a shy smile, I'm nearly making 'friends' and now they think I'm weird, fuck I should've said no to him.

 "No worries it's completely fine, hi Chan how are you?" Mina said with a flirtatious voice, OK yeah... I should've said no to him, now all the attention is on the pretty boy next to me.

As we grabbed our books to start studying Chan grabbed his book and started doodling or something idk, and I got to my book and started doing research on the victim's side of the declaration with Lia while Yuna, Mina, and Tzuyu started looking into the defendant's case to see the reasons he got prison for 18 years.

"Ugh I can't believe he actually did that," Tzuyu said mad at what she was reading "Yeah he deserves more years in jail than this," Yuna said angrily. "to be honest I would've to chop his dick off," I said looking at the papers in front of me, then I felt everyone silent and staring at me as I looked up "what? it's true," I said as Chan next to me laughed "You're so aggressive," he said chuckling. To be honest, the afternoon went nice we finished our project and Chan was silent and just made jokes once in a while, it was a chill time, nice maybe this would be the start of new friends.

Yesterday Chan left before us because his friends were waiting for him, and I had a good time with my classmates.

As I was closing my locker there was a face on the other side of my locker door holding a notebook, "Thank you so much Y/n I owe you my life" Hyunjin said giving my statistics book back "Yeah, yeah sure" Tired of his dramatic ways of saying things "Don't be grumpy I know it's so early and tomorrow is Saturday, so that means you're invited to my party tonight?" he said with a smile in his face and his hands up to his shoulders offering the invitations to me "thanks Hyunjin, but you know that's not my thing" I said closing the locker "that's why I'm inviting you, you need some fun in your life, your always the same boring y/n I know" yeah Hyunjin and I were classmates at elementary so we can say we know each other somehow "yeah but I already have plans" you say lazily "oooo with a boy?" he says moving his eyebrows up and down? "ew no, with myself I mean" "aww see this is what I mean you're boring as fuck" " I don't know no one there" I said as I began to walk and he followed behind "You know me"��  "yeah but I bet you're leaving me alone before the night starts" I remark "Chan is going to be there and you also met Han" he said "yeah man, whats up with Chan?" I said and he looked confused "Wdym I heard he is trying to be friends with you " 

"yeah but he feels like a creepy stalker just out of the blue talking to someone he doesn't know" "Well yeah that's him being himself, but you should really come to the party and make friends," he says as we getting to our destination "stop having pitty for me Hyujin you know I hate that, and as you said that's me being me," I said as we enter statistics classroom and I sat down in my desk in the back and he sat next to me "I'm not having pitty, is just that you look..." he said trying to look for the right word "weird? strange? uncanny?? I said slightly offended and bothered as I know people see me that way  "No I mean you look lonely, like you need to socialize more with people, and people are not me" "Ugh Hyunjin you annoying," I said as I rested my head against the desk "ok, but just know that your invited k?" "yeah, yeah, now shoo, shoo" he left to sit with Chan as we all share statistics class for what we study.

4:48 pm

Class finished and I'm headed to my dorm now, finally, I can sleep and have my own God damn time, I can take a nice bath, maybe read a book or- "HEY WAIT UP" Chan screamed from behind me, oh no please Lord no! "hey I told you to wait" "yeah but I just wanted to ignore you" I said as I kept walking "rude" he scoffed "you have any plans for tonight?" he asked, here we go again "no... why" I sighed as I already know what's he gonna say "well there is this party tonight idk but they told me to bring someone so how about we go together?" he said looking at me with a smile on his face "well chan idk about that, parties are not my thing yk, I rather stay at home" "yuna and the girls are going to be there if your wondering" he said as we continue walking "and don't leave me alone in this" he said pouting "I bet you're not going to be alone" I said rolling my eyes playfully at him and smirking in his direction "oh don't be jealous y/n I can give you attention too baby" he said winking at me "no chan is not that, I stoped my tracks as he stoped as well, and I look at him "Parties are not my things I told you, and I just don't want to be there!" I raised my voice annoyed and a bit flustered by his comment which literally came out of the blue,

"OK fine, see how about you try it, I swear I'm not gonna let you alone, I'm not even going to drink for your sake, and if you don't like it then I'll take you back home k? you thought about it for some seconds and reminded yourself about what Hyunjin told you earlier. "Fine but if I don't like it you better bring me home, and you better be sobber ok?" "yay," he said and put his arms up and did a little dance "Where are we btw?" he said as we stopped at a bus stop "I'm going home idk about you tho" 

"wait what? no, let me take you home I have a car" 

"Don't worry about that, I'm already here, sorry for dragging you with me"

"No worries let me take you home seriously" You thought about feeling guilty and also thinking about what others could say about you

"Really?" you asked "Yeah totally," he said as we walked towards his car, he really had a nice car, it was black tall and big. 

As we got in he put on music and I recognized the song immediately "You like Rihanna?" "oh yes she is one of my favorites," he said as we were chilling to the music 

"you know y/n you a new one" "Pardon?" I ask confused as this is my second year here

"I mean you are different, you're cool you know, you don't give a shit about how you look, I'm not saying you don't look nice but mostly girls are so obsessed with their appearance, and your pretty chill, you have a vibe of the meaning free, like fuck everyone style, yk? even the way you talk, you stand up for yourself, I see why Hyunjin is your friend," he says looking at the road 

"Thanks... where did that come from" you chuckled as you were confused, nobody ever told you so many positive things about yourself, not even your parents. "idk man I'm just being honest, you have a cool vibe, guess you also a tuff knuckle to crack?" "What is that supposed to mean?"

"Idk just saying " "can you turn left here please" "Sure," he said as we arrived at my house "So pick you up at 9?" he said from the car window as I was getting down "Uhh sure," you said confused as what time the party started  "cool see you later?"

"yes see you later, thank you for the ride home" You smiled at him as he smiled back and left your front house.

Damn, that was a rollercoaster, why do I feel awkward and embarrassed/flustered at the same time, and why tf he said I was a tuff knuckle to crack?

Well now I have to look in my closet wtf is presentable for a party tonight.
