Hi there! I hope you’re having a nice day! Could you please do a Carl Grimes x fem!reader angst to fluff that takes place during beginning of season 6? Carl and the reader are a couple and super close. Ron likes the reader and is jealous of their relationship. Ron also wants revenge for his father’s death so he kidnaps Carl knocking him out and taking him outside beyond Alexandria. The reader finds a letter Ron left telling her he took Carl. Reader goes over the walls and tracks Ron and Carl and finds where they are. Ron threatens Carl and is about to kill him when the reader shows up just in time. Her and Ron fight with her winning the fight. She then frees Carl and once Carl is free a swarm of walkers start coming. Ron tries to escape but is surrounded and killed by the walkers. The reader and Carl escape the herd just in time and return to Alexandria. Carl kisses the reader all emotional while holding her not wanting to let go telling her he was afraid he’d never see her again and that Ron was going to hurt her. Reader and Carl then have a cozy night in cuddling with each other by the fireplace. Thank you!

“ow. carl, that hurts.” you mumbled, hand reaching behind your head where carl was brushing your hair.

“sorry, baby. there’s knots in your hair.” carl apologised, brushing your hair gentler.

“use this brush, it’s my favourite.” you hummed, opening the vanity draw and pulling out your favourite brush. it gently took out your knots whenever you had any, it didn’t harm your scalp either.

carl nodded, “okay.” he placed the previous brush down, taking the brush that you were offering in your hand and continued brushing your hair.

you closed your eyes, your eyes becoming heavy. unbeknownst to you, carl stopped brushing your hair. feeling no motion on your hair, you opened your eyes and looked at carl through the mirror.

“what happened.” you asked.

carl shrugged, “i wanna braid it.”

he pulled your hair into three sections, looping one section over the other and repeated those actions. the outcome was a bit…peculiar. loose, badly done braid.

“uh…” you didn’t know what to say, you didn’t want to hurt carls feeling.

“what’s wrong?” carl eyes filled with concern. “isn’t your hair nice.”

hair started to fall from the braid, loosely hanging down by your ears.

“it’s…unique.” you stuttered, not wanting to ruin carls mood and confidence.

carl laughed, “i know, i know. it’s bad.”

“it’s not horrible!” you quickly reassured, “it just needs practising.”

you and carl both erupted into laughter, slumping into your chair and holding onto your chest.

“carl, omg, this is beautiful.” you admired the dress before checking for your size. you and carl were out shopping. he made you upset and the only way to fix that is if he treats you with new clothing!

“looks beautiful…” carl fumbled with the piles of clothing in his arms, “but maybe this is enough.”

“baby, you could never have enough clothing.” you said, rubbing his shoulder. carl sighed, taking the dress from your hands and adding it onto the pile. you quickly thanked him before moving onto the next section.

carl took his phone out, checking the time, eyes widening. “princess, it’s been 4 hours…”

“mhm.” you said, not acknowledging what he said but instead flicking through the clothing that was hung up on hangers.

“it’s been 4 hours.” carl shoved his phone in your face, waving it around to get your attention.

“okay, just a few more minutes.” you nodded. carl hummed, slipping his phone back into his pocket. just a few more minutes he thought. “look at this baby! it’s stunning.” he dragged a hand across the piece of clothing.

carl sighed to himself, “it would look amazing on you doll, everything does.”

you looked up at him, smiling. you took your size from the hanger and plopping it onto the pile of clothing that laid in carls arm.

after a few minutes another hour, you paid at the till and left. carl treated you with your favourite drink from starbucks, knowing how much you love it.
