It’s that time of year again folks, mental to think that it’s been a whole year since the last one and BOI has it been a wild one!

Gonna jump in straight away: I personally have had the year from hell. Lots of bad shit to make anyone lose their mind so I’m surprised I’m still standing (almost wasn’t for a time..) but, that being said, I’ve had some highs this year too. I’ve learnt to not dwell on past things, because with my track record of bad years - it’ll just drag you down further aha!

My little piece of ‘hope’ you could say, or positivity amongst the pain and darkness has been coming on here, and interacting with all you lovely people. I didn’t think it possible, but I’ve made even more amazing new friends since the last follow forever and I’m so insanely grateful for that you have no idea! To my new mutuals, thank you for becoming new lights in my life and sharing your amazing creations, and to my oldest friends who I’ve followed for 10 years almost, thank you for still being around and for being some of the greatest friends I’ve ever had🤍 even if we don’t speak often, or at all really, you all mean a lot to me and I’d be so much worse off for not having known you.

One little thing I’ve learnt that I’d like to pass on, is that when things are bad, look at the small things. Be proud of being able to focus on the day to day - that’s as much as I can do now and it’s enough. Trust me, it’s enough. The small achievements; like being able to get out of bed or make a cup of tea, they’re things to focus on and keep you going. Some of the smallest things have had the biggest impact on me this past year and I’ve learnt to be even more thankful for them than before. So that’s what I’m sharing with y’all going into this new year: appreciate the tiny achievements, the minor sparks of happiness. When you look back one day, you’ll realise they were the thing that got you through it all in the end.

I’ll shut up now, but to reiterate: thank you to everyone I know on here for being such major sources of positivity and inspiration this past year, and hopefully many more to come! I love you all so much and am so glad I’ve followed/met you all! Fingers crossed 2023 is better for us all, and I wish you all the best in the new year and beyond🤍

the whole stick with Tom Holland always spoiling things or whatever is a marketing stunt by Disney and has been from the very beginning and I know this because Andrew Garfield was ACTUALLY fired from spiderman and blackballed by Sony for saying things in interviews that the company did not want him to say i.e. how he wanted Peter to bi, how he thought elements of spiderman was racist, etc. if Tom Holland was actually doing ANYTHING Disney didn't want him to he would not be here. and even tho it's cute n funny whatever it makes me so fucking angry that Tom Holland has his whole career in film thanks to the fucked up way Sony got rid of Andrew Garfield Spiderman in the first place that to act like Tom is doing ANYTHING remotely rebellious relating to his role in marvel is just the biggest fuck you to Andrew Garfield. fuck mcu spiderman.
