MAY 4 | 4/100 DAYS OF PRODUCTIVITY

Today I studied for three and a half hours, which may seem like a little, but it was a lot after days I couldn't find concentration.

I studied all the theory and reactions of alcohols, aromatic compounds, aldehydes, ketones and carboxylic acids. Tomorrow I hope to be able to study the Alkenes, review the general stereochemistry and reading the amides.

Plus, tomorrow I'll be returning to the city where I go to university, so the trip will take up some time.

MAY 3 | 3/100 DAYS OF PRODUCTIVITY

Today was a good day and bad day.

Bad day because I didn't study enough, now i try to do something more. Good day because probably the next week I'm going to a music lesson to start playing the guitar.

Unfortunately I think I don't pass the exam the next week, but I wanna try to stay positive and let the things go like they wanna go. I don't want to force anything, especially myself.

MAY 2 | 2/100 DAYS OF PRODUCTIVITY

Unfortunately today I wasn't as productive as I expected. This morning I started very well, I went over yesterday's topics and revisited some previous topics that I hadn't yet managed to explain properly, but unfortunately in the afternoon I had a big drop in concentration that didn't allow me to continue studying properly.

In the break between 1PM and 3PM I played the Sims to distract myself, then I switched off, but the concentration didn't come as I wanted.

I hope tomorrow is better and I hope your day was productive and that you are satisfied with yourselves <3

Calling all science students and enthusiasts!!

I would absolutely love to have a science-revolving passion project and I’ve narrowed it down to a blog/blog-type-website. I love learning about science but so rarely take the time to actually research the things that interest me. With being a high school student, exams and life this is quite a big task to handle for 1 person and I’d love others to contribute to this!

This is by no means a set plan yet, I’m just sharing a rough idea, so if you could please interact with this post or dm me if you would be interested in something of this kind. Even if you see this 5 months after this was posted (and hopefully a working project or at least WIP) still reach out if you’re interested.

You don’t have to be a great writer for this either nor fascinated about each and every science. My favourite is chemistry, but it would be nice if this project could incorporate the 3 main branches of science: biology, chemistry and physics. It depends on if people would be interested in reading something like this or participating in, and their preferred subjects. You could write about astronomy as a whole, or go into chemistry and analysing electronic configuration, talking about your favourite dinosaur bones in palaeontology, a passive behaviour analysis in psychology, or explaining how exactly scabs work in biology. These would probably be short to mid-length entries and 1/2 times a month.

But this is just my idea and how far I’ve gone with it, feedback is appreciated, there will be more updates to come (not too many until afer my exams in May tho), and I appreciate any reblogs to share this idea with others!

Hopefully a couple people would like to help out in this project and please ask questions if you have any (as a dm or ask) ^^

Hey! It was also worker's day here (not italy), and i also didn't take the day off, too much to do!

Also had a driving lesson today (which is pretty sad because they don't have rest day today, dont know why), and it went so well and im so happy about it!

I'm so sorry you couldn't take a day off, let's hope we can both rest soon 🫶🏻

but I'm super happy to hear that your driving went well, keep going and don't give up, I assure you that having the driving license is a liberation (especially because you can put the music on loud and have your karaoke moment)

here all the shopping centers were open, consequently many people were working, I don't understand what sense it makes to "celebrate" a day and allow half the workers to stay at home and the other half not...

May 1 | 1/100 DAYS OF PRODUCTIVITY

In Italy today we celebrate Workers' Day, I could have taken it as a day of rest, but next week I have an exam and I can't afford to stop because I'm still behind on some topics..

here's the recap of what I studied today:

study aldehydes and ketones + nomenclature

repeat alcohol + nomenclature

read amides

review enantiomers

Today I used a "study with me" video on YouTube to avoid the phone, I studied for about 3 hours with the Pomodoro 25-5 method, I need to get back to the correct rhythms.

I completed everything and I am very satisfied with myself, now an evening of rest awaits me. I'm undecided whether to watch a movie or read a book..
