Champagne and Regrets, a MareCale story…

Champagne does wonders for betrayal. That first dinner, light years ago, it had tickled my nose and helped me enjoy some of the pageantry around me. It helped me muster through the creeping jealousy every time Evangeline had touched his arm. Of course at the time, I wouldn’t have admitted that it was jealousy. But today, watching them enter the room together, her hand gripping his forearm, it was all I could do not to pop every light bulb over her head.

- cal cuddling in bed = h e v a n - he has such a strong grip so if you have to pee during the night good luck™ - but he is a giant cuddly bear, truly - so I have this headcannon that cal is kinda scared of the dark so he usually has a candle lit when you guys sleep. - also as a side note when he sleep his face gets all squished and cute and you l o v e it - anyways - when he’s really tired and had a long day of doing shit you are usually always in bed before him so he flops down, and grabs you pulling you to him and just mumbles really sleepily “wuv u” and passes out - he’s a really heavy sleeper so nothing will wake him up, OTHER then you not being in his arms because he will get really protective and panicked when he wakes up and u arnt there - which almost never happens because he wakes up hella early to workout - now to actual cuddling - he is almost always on his back your head on his chest - and he’s always warm and it’s really warm and lovely and cute and all in all a 10/10 experience
