Oh dear.. HuaiSang had no idea what he just said. It was too distorted. Okay, that was a lie. Only two words had processed. A greeting and the “who”.

The raven rose his fan nervously, unfolding it ever so through habit. “Erm. Hi..” Just had to guess what the next sentence was. God this made him nervous! “I-I am Nie HuaiSang.. Who are you and why are you out here all alone?” Hopes he is understood.

Haru blinked, almost confused. She tilted her head and she stared at the person before her. Something about this person’s aura seemed familiar. He was clearly thinking that Haru was crazy, but… was he being nice? That’s very kind of him, actually. “Thank you, the puppy is nice, isn’t it?” 

“Haru just… really loves jokes.” It was now that she felt a bit embarrassed. She tugged on her string to bring the coin up into her hand. “Haru was going to show this to the kids that she knows. She thought that they would enjoy the joke.” Now she’s trying to excuse herself. Look, she’s not crazy. 

Just a little bit, but not a lot!

“Do you want to try walking it too?” She cracked a small joke, hoping that it would help him relax some. Haru was friendly to friends and strangers alike, and she would like to befriend them all, if possible. 

If you thought this embarrassing moment would stop Haru from doing any other further weird stuff, you are wrong. Haru naturally had a very silly personality, and she loved to have fun, even if it was at her expense. 

Really not quite sure what to say to her on the matter. Trying to say no could be bad and she could get upset. Maybe? And saying yes would really make him look like a fool. Either way it seemed like a lose-lose situation.

Sadly it flew over HuaiSang’s head that was merely a joke and should not take it too seriously. Silly considering she just said she  loved jokes.

To be honest, despite the weird coin issue, her personality almost reminded him of Wei-Xiong. Perky and care free. Perhaps if her could try and know this stranger, there could be a click. After all, he did need assistance here in Japan.

“Umm.. No thank you. I am more of a, how do you say...” Trying to think of the word. AH! “Bird person.” It was a truth. Also a hobby to go for them. “You look much better with a dog.”
