i swapped out homura's purple accents with a pink to match byleth's little tassel because i love that little inclusion in her design! she's just got a little tassel! big fan! i also tweaked the cut of the lapels slightly to evoke byleth's shoulder armour and tried to shift the design of homura's shield to be closer to the shape of the crest of flames.

as far as OSes go windows 10 is Not Good but i can't help but appreciate its utter lack of regard for its job. like big retail-worker 1 bad shift away from quitting energy in this software. it'll flash me "Verification Failed" messages and then let me in a second later. the search bar randomly stops working and then starts with 0 fanfare. i have decent gaming hardware in here and occasionally it'll decide that Task Manager is too stressful to deal with and just freeze up. like me too buddy.

i think that of the golden deer, leonie's sense of justice fits sayaka the most - she holds strong convictions and isn't afraid to share them 🧡

leonie's student outfit isn't super distinct to me, so i mostly just changed up the colours of sayaka's outfit to match leonie's orange hair. sayaka already has golden buttons on her dress, so i just doubled them to match the Garreg Mach uniform - leonie also conveniently wears an arm sleeve as a student, so it fit pretty well i think! i did shorten up the cape just because i don't think leonie would find a full cape practical for witch-fighting :)

i wonder if i should have changed up her design more? beyond the colour, i just added flayn's cute little bows on her shoulders and tried to reshape the backing for her soul gem to match her hair clips. i also removed the second white ribbon from the corset because mami's looks flat across the top and i don't think that would have worked for flayn, but that was just a change for practicality (not cause i misjudged the spacing of the buckles at all)

extending the skirt would definitely have been more in-line for her, but i want to try and keep the silhouettes recognisable as pmmm...
