oohhhh wow okay so I got the art book and since I was paying for shipping, I got the soundtrack too. Didn't realise it was going to have 4 disks, but turning it to the side I realised....

ohh four discs, for four crystals! They're in the four colours!

And they have the characters on the front- cute! There's 3 double sided cards with different jobs/poses for each of them. Cheesy, and not the best design-wise, but I love it.

I'm gonna work on translating the music titles and compare that to spotify (trying to force myself to learn kanji)

Update: uhh... so beneath all the discs was the little booklet (as CDs generally have)... with the game's cover......

My game's cover was Magnolia and I still don't trust her plus it has the entire moon in the background which I Really don't trust- but I realised that's not the original black-backgrounded cover

On that note...

Ringabel in Bravely Second bothered me So Much! I was mad for so long about him hiding things from Edea. But when I went to review those scenes I realised Magnolia was the one stopping him, a glare and a well timed comment here and there right when he was about to explain all....

But it's curious how good he is at deflecting the topic. As soon as he has to distract everyone from asking questions, he makes a stupid comment to make Edea mad and gets beaten up, but at least the questions are forgotten.

Alright, do we really believe this? Sure this is Elvis we're talking about, but I don't think even he would throw Lady Emma's book in the fire by accident or for something so trivial.... This is Lady Emma's precious book. The whole reason for his quest... If anything, I'd say he intentionally threw it in the fire in frustration over Lady Emma never getting to decipher it herself. Elvis doesn't admit to not being okay and, like Ringabel, is rather skilled at changing the topic by making people mad over his stupidity instead.
