white people have GOT to stop tagging all indigenous issues and posts as "native" oh my god. the term native refers to native americans it's not just a catch-all for indigenous people around the world. the word "native" has historically been used as a violently racist term on a lot of indigenous peoples. literally stop tagging my posts about being polynesian/pasifika/maori/indigenous (look! plenty of words to use) as natives/native issues! use literally any other word! it makes me viscerally uncomfortable every time i see it AND it clogs up the tags of another indigenous group

John’s journal be like “today I sent Dean into a violent situation by himself. He knows that being a good hunter is the only way to get my approval and he didn’t tell me he was injured. These are unconnected events. Also, I think Sammy is evil and I don’t trust him. I will keep this to myself but also make it incredibly obvious in how I treat him. I am a good parent.”
