I realized that all three seasons of DT17 contain a moment where an adventurer, or a pilot, experiences some kind of struggle with a dragon-like monster. And in most of these cases, the monster is ultimately defeated with a strong blast of power. 

Pixiu was accidentally released from imprisonment similarly to how Launchpad believe he had unleased a demon curse on Duckburg

The “demons” were on the hunt for candy in the same way Pixiu was after gold

The defragon that Launchpad rode in “Happy Birthday, Doofus Drake!” was given the same color palette as The Sunchaser; making it feel strangely reminiscent of Scrooge’s battle with Pixiu

While Scrooge wasn’t dressed as a dragon for Halloween, or blasted with some kind of blue-green energy, having him fight a pilot in a skeleton costume seems to draw a strong connect to the ceiling decorations at Hazel House

Ohmygoodnes, I can’t believe I haven’t posted art in two months! 😵 I wonder how much that is in comparison to my other art posts. 🤔 

I initially made this because I had never digitalized Chauffeur!LP before and I’ve been meaning to draw Della’s pirate fighting outfit. I wanted to show how close their color palette came to each other’s even with these alternate outfits, but I pretty much went back to how Della normally looks and ended up liking that more. 😅

Disney+ added a bunch of dubs to their DT17 audio options!

And along with that, we have definite confirmation that "Lizzy" was used for Webby's project name in the Dutch (Nederlands) version instead of "April". 

Lizzy was Webby's name in the DT87 Dutch dub. The translators confused her for April, who was already renamed to Lizzy in their country. (Not too strange of a thing since Webby was inspired by Daisy's nieces.)

Since I can’t pin multiple things at once, I’ll be editing this part of the post with any other major additions I have to say about my Dad theory:

Selene’s Statements About Della Duck

Something I should have made as a solo post much earlier.

Every time I see someone wanting to speculate about HDL’s father, more often then not, they’re yelled at for not seeing Donald in this light and I think that’s wrong. The finale probably ramped this up even further…

There’s nothing wrong with being curious about both sides of HDL’s heritage and anyone who’s feeling upset over this being unaddressed, is totally valid.

That section of The Duck Family is often disregarded and it really seemed like the showrunners were interested in going further in this direction…especially since they bothered to elaborate on Della….There were multiple opportunities for us to be clearly and plainly told that they weren’t interested in telling that story.

So why didn’t they? I don’t know. Maybe they were going to finally get into that in S4, but the cancellation left it at a dead end. I would love to ask for clarity, but I feel like I’ll just be ignored.

The future of this blog is now uncertain as its creation was driven by the possibility that there was a secret, untold part for Della’s reasoning for taking The Spear of Selene and that maybe the father had something to do with it.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I thought an additional reason for the “Donald is the father” response we’ve been getting was to ward off suspicion while also subtly hinting that some of Donald’s experiences were meant to parallels Dad’s. (Like accidentally ending up in Space.)

It wasn’t literally the only thing I cared about, but it was what kept me going after having to cut back dramatically on my fandom browsing two years ago. There were some updated things I never got around to publish with my theory but…with the conclusion of the show and for it to end without a proper answer to settle the big question, I don’t feel motivated to use this space anymore.

I was given such a hard time defending this point over the years and it never came into fruition…

Got a response back from a comment I made elsewhere claiming that her name did get revealed as Lizzy. Glad that’s settled. I kinda...wish there was a video floating around somewhere though...

 The concept of someone being named Turbo

It’s been four weeks since “Last Adventure” aired in The Netherlands and I still can’t find any information on what was done with Webby’s name in that dub.

I was going to wait for the audio to become available on Disney+, but I’m starting to get impatient, lol.

So, does anyone know? Is it Lizzy, April or something else?

To commemorate the last day of Mermay, here’s my interpretation of Oceanika from “The Depths of Cousin Fethry!” (….who accidentally ended up looking a bit like Daisy when I added the eyeshadow smh)

I wanted to draw her sometime after her debut, but couldn’t decided on what she looked like. The DT crew…really didn’t want us to see her….🤔

A couple of years ago, I decided on a seagull and drew some sketches with that. But then Disney+ got released later on and revealed that she was something closer to a duck or a goose. So, I redesigned my first drawing of her during digitalization.

I made her brown tail more of a gold and (eventually) lightened up the green top she was wearing. I’m a bit doubtful it was seaweed, but again, they really didn’t want us to see her, so I had to come up with that in place of whatever it actually was. 🤷🏾‍♀️
