Apparently it’s canon that her parents are travelers and was raised primarily by her grandfather. Lively married couple that never has a plan for anything lol

I’m thinking they’re well known backpackers that often appear in the news joining crazy events. Frye always admired them for their free spirits, yet can’t help but wish they’d visit more…

Does Shiver have a good relationship with her mother or is she like the second coming of satan to Shiver?

Shiver sees her as just a brick wall with no point in talking to. Her mother has grown tired of Shiver’s bandit shenanigans atp and believes they’ll grow out of it, so she focuses her attention to their older siblings instead.

This unfortunately incites Shiver to get into bigger and bigger trouble just to get a word from her.
