Egg Week 2022 Prompt List

Here is the official prompt list for Egg Week. Look out for more detailed individual prompt posts throughout the week!

Day 1 (22nd) - Struggle

CALLING ALL BLUNDEREIER: EGG WEEK IS BACK!!!!

That’s right, folks: after a four-year hiatus due to various happenings of life, we’re finally bringing back the weeklong celebration of our beloved BYNMM (and Ms. Leah Thomas’s birthday)! 

The official dates are November 22nd-29th (just like last time), although we will of course still happily accept early or late posts! The prompt list will be posted later today (November 19th). Stay tuned throughout the celebration for more details!

Post your art, poetry, fic, analyses, memes, incoherent rambling, etc. with the tag #eggweek2022 so other fans can see it! We’ll also be reblogging all the submissions here on the blunderkinder blog. (Feel free to mention us in the post if you want to make extra sure we see it!)

I think naming the good that people put into the world is so so important, so I want to say that @cuttoothom wrote a book called Because You’ll Never Meet Me and I recommended it to my 16 yo cousin for our bi weekly book club and I just?? It’s SO GOOD! It’s kind and gentle w the characters and my heart and it displays love in its many forms and it never once places one sort of love above another although it is clear that some relationships are deeper and become deeper still through vulnerability, honesty, and a refusal to be driven away by distance or difficulty. It is a love story, but it is also a story of friendship, and how friends can save each other before they even think about falling in love. I can’t recommend this series enough. I will love Moritz and Ollie all my life, and I hope they found a way to get a small cabin in the woods with the Internet, friends, lots of cats, and everyone’s hearts firmly in their chests.
