Hi, Mod Aiki here! Sorry to announce, but I’m going to be leaving this project. Other members such as Mod Space, Mod Mist, and Mod Ashe have already left, and the lack of proper management has kept from announcing this sooner. I’ll answer questions about my experience working on this on my MCD blog, @vylad-stan​, for anyone who’s interested (feel free to dm me or send an ask, whatever works for you). I’d like to keep commentary off of here for the sake of everyone still interested in this project, and for the mods still working on it. Good luck to the mods still working on the project, I hope it goes for the best!

I saw on an earlier post that you said all of the team members were gay, do you mean that everyone of the mods is lgbtq?

Don’t remember the post, but I believe all of the mods are some form of LGBT+? I know I am for sure, and there are many others on the team who are open about it. It makes sense, considering that when we were forming, a lot of us had problems with the lack of, or mistreatment of LGBT representation in MS and MCD.

This is probably the only spoiler ask we’ll be answering clearly. No, we are Not writing incest into either Mystreet or Minecraft Diaries. It’s gross and was not addressed well enough in the original content, so it will not be appearing in ours.

I might be able to explain a bit better? “Mystreet Rewrite” means we are planning to rewrite, or re-do the series, Mystreet. We saw a lot of potential in Mystreet and Minecraft Diaries, and hope to improve upon the series by writing them in our own way!

Member Applications!

Hey! So we noticed we’ve been getting a whole bunch of questions about when we’ll be accepting new members. We’re not entirely sure when we’ll need more help with this project, or if we’ll ever really need it at all, but! In case the opportunity arises where we need more staff, I’ve made a member application form! You can fill it out here! That way if we ever need new members, we’ll have your information on hand! If/when we do accept new members in the future, we'll be looking for people willing to write, draw, edit, or help plot out the story and develop the characters. If you wanna fill it out and possibly become a part of the team some day, nice! And if you don’t, no pressure! Either way, hope you have a fantastic day!

How much should we know about characters before we read? Cause I don't know much about any mystreet original characters like Ein since I don't watch mystreet but I've heard that mystreet original characters will be appearing, so basically how much do you expect the readers to know about the characters when you introduce them?

As far as I know (or at least as far as what we have planned for now!), Ein will not be making an appearance in MCD. For the characters that are being added from Mystreet to MCD, we will hopefully be giving them enough context for all fans to understand, not just the Mystreet ones. This is a rewrite after all, so if we do things right it should be able to be read as a story without the context of the original series at all. Long story short, you should be good! You don’t have be an expert on Mystreet to understand the plot for MCD, and vice versa.
