After last week's chapter, I keep imagining horrible images of the dead and the nearly-dead shinigamis.

I mean, ALL of the water in Soul Society's drying up, right? If currently-indoor Isane's pristine skin is starting to feel uncomfy, what about those who're lying in the streets, BLEEDING?

Kira's wound would be drying up, blood clotting in his lungs at a much faster rate.

Byakuya? Psh; his ENTIRE body was slashed to mercilessness, he could very well be a shinigami-jerky now. With luxurious, blood-stained hair. Wheeeeeee.

Kenpachi?

KENPACHI!

I... keep getting the image in my head of a desperate, on-verge-of-a-breakdown Yachiru lugging still-unconscious Kenpachi on her shoulders like she did after his fight with Ichigo, but this time.. much more slowly, faster. There would be panic swirling in her head as she noticed her blood-stained shihakusho starting to crackle as the crimson liquid dried up faster than normal.

To where she runs off to, I don't know. But in my mind, she's running, sprinting over the half-crumbled rooftops, hopping over red-tinted results of the battle, all the while struggling to keep herself from keeling over from the intense acridity.

Yachiru... where are you? Kubo-sensei, what're you trying to pull here?!

Bleach-y Speculation:

Okay, 'tis been almost a week since Ch. 507 did its catastrophe to the fandom, but... well, HERE GOES MY SPECULATION

And yes, it's about Yama-ji's bankai :3

So, his bankai is Zanka no Tachi , which literally means Long Sword of the Remaining Flame.

I've seen in the forums(was it BA or Deathberry I can't remember D8) that this bankai is... weird because neither the name NOR the kanji of the shikai(Ryūjin Jakka) and the bankai is similar. We usually have similar shikai-bankai names, like Zangetsu as Tensa Zangetsu, and Senbonzakura and Senbonzakura Kageyoshi. In Gin's case, his shikai Shinsou sounds nothing like his bankai Kamishini no Yari, but there is a smiliar kanji in Shinsou(神鎗) and Kamishini no Yari(神殺鎗).

But in case of Ryuujin Jakka(流刃若火) and Zanka no Tachi(残火の太刀), neither applies.

HOWEVER(I'm getting off-topic here), if I thought about his bankai's ability in relation to his shikai, no matter how unrelated shikai-bankai thing...

Coming from his shikai call, "Reduce All Creation to Ash;"

His sword, compact form of all the almighty flames that used to cover the entire space, will reduce anything, ANYTHING it touches, into ashes; people, buildings, ZANPAKUTOS, etc. There is nothing that can counter it, THE strongest flame-type zanpakuto in the world.

Now, imagine how terrifying that would be. Your zanpakuto, your hand, CRUMBLES RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR NOSE D8

I think it would've been one HELL of an interesting fight if As Nodt got to fight with...

HISAGI. Our beloved Shuu-chan, who's incredibly happy working under his savior/new captain. Or so I suppose.

Remember his fight against Findor Calius(the mask-breaking arrogant lobster-Fraccion who kept squealing EXACTA), Hisagi said that he fears his own power, that "he who does not fear the sword he holds is not worthy of holding a sword?"

And then there was his volume poem:

"The only true fear is to become a warrior that does not know fear."

Two things in the Bleach fandom Hisagi's better known for is a) the sexual-or-not(more towards HELL YEAH SEXUAL)69 tattoo and b) his undeniably sexy morals towards battle attitude.

Fear. He recognizes it, he values it.

Aaaaand then we have our proud BYA-KUN MURDERERAs Nodt, the Stern Ritter representing fear.

I just have the snippets of thoughts and possibilities in my head, not the entire situation/fight/panel setups, but if Hisagi got to face As nodt... what would he have seen? His fighting pointlessly, fearlessly, becoming the exact warrior he did NOT want to be? Still-Captain Tousen telling him what a despicable being he had become?

And what would've been the conversation between the two fear-advocates(I DUB THEE) like? They might have agreed on the necessity of fear and how it is natural, a survival instinct.

I would've loved to hear that conversation. I'm pretty sure both of them would've had much to say on the matter, probably in a much more elegant style than how I spewed onto here.

Last chapter, I went MEH.

But this one... I kinda flinched and flailed at this new chapter 'cuz of the Pacci/Sung-Sun/Mila Rose and Quincy trio parallelism I can't get outta of my head now.

I kinda feel bad for the trio of Quincies... I mean, they were acting upon loyalty. Or so I assume. Voluntary action thing.
