12. What perfectly-normal-to-them-thing does your OC do that confuses/pisses off/terrifies thier neighbors?

The one that comes to my mind is for my Barbarian human, Raelynn. Raelynn is, in many ways, very Australian inspired, right down to the slang that she uses. This slang usually confused the ever living fuck out of her companions and will often result in everyone pausing, turning to look at her and ask her what the fuck she means.

Another one that comes to mind is my tabaxi druid/sorcerer, Robin. Robin is an anxious string bean of a character and when startled, she will do what we call a “Panic Shape.” Simply, she gets startled and in her panic, she briefly loses control of her druidic magic and wildshapes into one of six creatures. She must either in that shape for half of her Wildshape time or have one of her companions reduce that creature’s hp to zero. Again... a source of confusion for her companions.

19. How Dehydrated is your OC right now? Are they going to fix this?

Let’s see...

Robin (druid/sorcerer Tabaxi) is in the middle of a damn desert so she’s going to need to drink some water soon.

Torinn (dragonborn barbarian/cleric) is doing pretty well for hydration.

Raelynn (human barbarian) absolutely needs a drink since they’ve been constantly moving since going into a cult’s campsite. Knowing her, she’s not going to stop for a drink until she knows they’re safe.

Ronne’s (tiefling monk) is doing great. She’s the most hydrated one out of the entire crew.

15. How often does your OC “zone out” or do things on autopilot and how severe have the problems that have arisen from that been?

Pretty much all of my characters are some flavour of neurodivergent so most of them have a tendency to occasionally zone out.

The one most likely to do so is probably Raelynn, my human Barbarian woman. While attentive to her companions and loved ones, she does still have the issue of zoning out and performing tasks on autopilot. We haven’t seen any problems arise of this yet, though the most common issue is the fact that she winds up carving wooden trinkets for far too long and forgoing sleep because she gets too into the zone, so to speak.

Oh, that’s fun! Okay... I think we’ll go with the first character I played as and the newest one that I’ve played as; Raelynn, my human barbarian, and Ronne, my tiefling monk.

2. What are your OC’s food preferences (flavors/textures/spiciness/calories/ when and how they eat) and how did they get that way?

Raelynn’s tends to eat a lot because, as a barbarian with functional muscle, she requires a lot of energy and that comes with eating a lot during meals. Especially protein based food. She tends to enjoy red meat more than any other kind of meat. She is also OBSESSED with anything spicy. Seriously, the spicier, the better is her personal motto. She does, however, hate the texture and flavour of Mayo and point blank refuses to ingest it to any capacity. She also isn’t a big a fun of sweets but will happily eat them when with someone she feels bonded to.

Ronne isn’t one I’ve had long enough to put much thought into. She’s much smaller and leaner so she doesn’t eat quite as much as Raelynn. Not so much a fun of spicy food, though she does enjoy savoury meals. She’s very passionate about sweet things but her favourite kind of food has got to be stews.

6. What would STOP your OC from Doing The Right Thing in a tense situation?

For Raelynn... it would absolutely have to involve a loved one. It would be rather easy for someone on the opposing side of good to convince her to do the wrong thing if they used the people she loves against her.

The only person that could stop Ronne, however, is her sister. Ronne is a way of mercy of monk and her code dictates that she do the honourable and merciful thing. But if there’s one person that could convince her to do the opposite, it’s her sister.

8. If your OC had to take the S.A.T. tomorrow with one night to prep, how would they do?  both emotionally and academically.

Raelynn has not had any formal education. Not only that but her mind is not hardwired to the way lessons are taught in formal educational settings. Raelynn would most likely fail terribly. As for how she’d handle it emotionally... I doubt that she would care too much. She’s very much understanding of the fact that a formal education is not the only kind of learning to be had and would most likely just shrug and go into a trade apprenticeship.

Ronne would most likely not pass despite desperate hours of cramming as much information into her brain as possible. This would most likely be due to her completely exhausting herself and burning out hard and fast. Most like has several panic attacks along the way and heart palpitations from ingesting too much coffee and energy drinks.

Heya! Fox anon here. The why is because I knew you first and foremost as a fic writer so there's still this aura of "holy shit this is an author I love" even though I've later had the chance to chat and hang out with helped lessen the whole intimidating thing.

Also I'm anxious, everyone is at least a tiny bit intimidating to me x)
