Hey man I just found your YouTube channel after seeing that dragonball trailer and I just wanted to tell you that your work is amazing so keep it up and your talent will shine
That’s real kind of you mate. Thank you very much!
Thank you everyone for your kind support on my fan film, LEGEND - A Dragon Ball Tale https://youtu.be/8gozfD4X1E4 . The response has been overwhelming! Guess I really wasn't the only one who wanted Vegeta to get his glory. But it ain't real till there's a movie poster!
Please help share this around, if you dig the project. It means more than you can know! Youtube version: https://youtu.be/8gozfD4X1E4
After being shamed in just about every good DBZ fight imaginable, it pains me that after 20 years, DB Super still only ALMOST gave us a great Vegeta.
I've decided to take things into my own hands with some fresh CANADIAN animation.
LEGEND - A Dragon Ball Tale, is my love letter to 90s anime, martial arts, and a fleeting hope of seeing Vegeta not done like a 2 dollar Saiyan chump! Six minutes is all the super Saiyan steam I got in me; short and sweet. Hoping to release it next year.
THIS IS NOT FOR PROFIT. All of this is just a fun animated project. Find me in the storm, should you want to see some sporadic updates: https://twitter.com/reMENgeance.
And please check out the rest of these awesomely talented folks involved in helping me bring this trailer to life! Couldn't have done it without their talents!

Had a great time directing on Massive Game's animated cut scenes for Extinction, by Massive Games. Though I did a few scenes on paper, this is the project that forced me to break my comfort zone and dive fully into digital anim. Great learning experience with a great team!
Here is the 6th lesson from my upcoming intro to Animation course, offered by http://www.aast.ca/ this April, a comedic side step, inspired by Hiroyuki Imaishi’s amasing style of super limited animation. If anyone is interested in a 9 week course, covering animation, anatomy, and some basic structure drawing techniques, feel free to check out the AAST website.
I can’t wait for it all to start!
Hope you all have a merry Christmas and a good coming new year. For all you animation enthusiasts, I hope you all keep drawing and developing your projects.
One last update from me for 2017 on animation is from my fifth lesson for my intro anim course; a basic 16 drawing character rotation. The video is an example, but not instruction. Some basic things to focus on are adhering to a pivot point, depth and angle of anatomy, and horizontal guidelines to track details and get a smooth rotation.
A few people have been asking about it, so just to let you know, it won't be an online course (but I plan to put material online at a later date next year). The course will be taught at AAST, a small art institute at Dundas and Bloor (Toronto). The school doesn't require a portfolio to enter, so artists of all skill levels are welcomed to hone their animation technique. I think the site looks a bit dated, but the instructors are very talented teachers, particularly their program director, who is also a teacher of structural drawing at Sheridan. Feel free to drop him a line if you're interested in 9 weeks of learning! http://www.aast.ca/
In January, I'll be starting my very first teaching job; an intro course to animation that covers all the basic analyses of motion and drawing fundamentals. Here is a sneak peak of one of my lessons, to be elaborated upon in class ;)
This is one of the pieces that I enjoyed to draw the most. The emotion it awakes is what makes me feel satisfied. A print of a four mini print set on sale in my store. Link in my bio. #punk #girl #manga #artwork #ink #blackandwhite http://ift.tt/2rzXGBM
