Here is something to think about " From each according to his ability, to each according to his need." This is a popular Marxist-Communist slogan and yet as history tells us all those at the top did not live by this.  Today, the people advocating for socialism, actually have the most, why do they not live it and own it?  How is giving away goods that someone else worked for fair?

We must believe in ourselves before anyone else will, we have to trust in our knowledge and ability, so that we can navigate the tough times. Perseverance and hahard workill see us to our destination and far beyond.

The constitution is a living document that has guided us through our ups and downs as a nation. Today we seem to have lost our way, we no longer care about the document, we have it so good we forget all that brought us here.  We have forgotten meritocracy.

A lot of us talk about wanting change in our lives, we dream about it and yet we do nothing past that.  Until and unless we are will to take action, nothing will happen. We cannot grow without getting uncomfortable, it will never be easy but this is how we will build success.

Here is a cry we often hear, our democracy is at stake and usually it is made by some elite politician, who has no idea how the people are living. This is not about what is good for the people but what is good for their oligarchy, because sadly this is what we have become. Even our high courts never rule for the constitution, so the little people have no advocate.

It is not one huge event that will bring success to our lives, but a combination of smaller efforts over time. It's not what we gain in the end, it comes down to the struggle, path, and knowledge acquired about who we are that defines success.

All of us who love freedom should know we are all slaves thanks to the national debt which stands at twenty-eight and a half-trillion dollars and growing. Our entire GDP for last year was twenty trillion and the government only collects about seventeen percent of that in tax revenue. If all of us are okay with our dollars buying less and the day when a stack won't buy a cup of coffee, we can ignore it.

Making decisions that make us uncomfortable are hard, naturally we like like to feel comfortable, it just comes down to long-term benefit. If we put in the work today, it will pay off, not always in the way we imagined, but it will be what we need.

No matter where any of us stand politically it is time we held all our political leaders accountable. None of them can answer a simple question, instead, we get back word salads, which mean nothing. Committees and hearings are a waste of time, nothing happens.  Time to vote out all these career politicians that have never had jobs in the private sector and do not care to know about our lives.

It takes discipline to decide on a pathway and stick with it, through everything until the end. There will always be opportunities to stop or change direction, some may even look better, but nothing feels like seeing a goal to completion.

Our country was formed because the people who lived under tyrannical British rule decided enough was enough.  The high taxes without representation, arbitrary laws, property seizures, and unequal justice were too much, they could not appeal to the king, they had no choice.  Today we have the oligarchy and then there are the people.

We can spend time looking backward or we can concentrate on the task at hand. Time to live in the now, do what need and what we should. Life requires daily action, if we just wish to complain, there will be no progress.

A country is no longer a constitutional republic when there exist two sets of laws, one for the people and one for the elites. How long can it hold together when those in elite circles can do what they please and the rest of us have to live under the rule of law.  The constitution was created so that we had no royalty and all people are equal, it just does not seem the case any longer.

The knowledge we need to reach our goals is always available, our only problem is being open to applying it.  Life requires action, some more pleasurable than others, but we must make an effort or we cannot grow.

Imagine living in a country where the government could just declare an emergency( Insert reason) then just bypass the constitution and all the rights it guarantees. We as citizens have natural rights which we never waived or agreed to be suspended, so how far do we let the people that work for us go with this absurd gesture?

There are always reasons not to begin on a new unfamiliar path, the time is never right, life does not fall into place, and we will never be ready.  Change comes with the first bold step, each action brings us closer to our goals.

Our founding fathers fought for freedom and then instituted a constitution for limited government power that gave more power to the individual, not big government. We now have that power taken away from us and in the last year it has only been flowing one way and that is to the federal government.  

We cannot control the outside world, but we can control our attitude and resulting actions. Our individual lives should not be compromised. All of us can succeed despite whatever is going on in the world and never forget happiness begins within.
