Fifteen years ago today, the stars aligned. No one in Studio One at the University of Michigan could have foreseen that the silly college production performed that night would lead directly to the conception of two fully-fledged production companies, fourteen full-length musicals with millions of views each, two marriages, and a fandom spanning the globe. And yet it did, and I for one am so fucking grateful for whatever cosmic force allowed Starkid to exist. Our lives are so much richer for it. Happy Anniversary, Starkid!! Here’s to many more years.
