You were in a different headspace, with different things affecting and scaring you, facing challenges that seemed big at the time. Maybe you were even lonelier. Sort of! Irl my parents picked out my name after looking through family trees, but I chose Basil to use online just because! 

2. When was the last time you cried?

Last Monday... The time right as the semester comes to a close is always stressful 😅

Nope

...No, not at all! /s😏

5. What is the first thing you notice about people?

Someone's voice and general appearance and the big things, but also outfit details because it's an easy conversation starter when I'm feeling awkward/anxious.

Primarily green with hints of blue! 

7. Scary movies or happy endings?

Oh, happy endings, for sure!

8. Any special talents?

Does being able to identify Disney songs in under a second count? 😂

Southern United States-

Writing, photo editing, crafting, and swimming are the big ones!

Yep! Her name is Trixie, and she's the cutest little terror pup imaginable 🥰

None

5'7" - I wear heels practically all the time, though, because I like feeling tall 😔

History and art, especially ceramics! 

15. Dream job?

Still not totally sure! I'd love to be able to support myself as a working sculptor, but I've also thought of museum/gallery curation!

The positives of ‘putting yourself out there’ are worth it. Having a great conversation with a stranger will be worth the awkwardness of starting that exact conversation. Joining a small community of people you will see regularly is worth having to get through a scary first day. Getting your dream job is worth the scariness of chasing it. Don’t pick and choose experiences based on the level of ease now, but choose them based on how you want to come out of them.

🔀- Canon Divergence/Slight AU

After his dad died, Daley thought he would never see him again. He missed him fiercely, especially on those days when they went back to Button House to pay their respects to him. It felt like his dad was right there, just out of reach, and Daley wished he could talk to him just one last time and tell him how much he loved him.

His wish was granted when he was twenty and walking through a park one day. A football came out of nowhere and hit him in the head, and when he woke up a week later he was able to see ghosts. It took a while to get used to it - to not react to the Roman soldier waving at him on the street or the little boy who was haunting the neighbour's garden shed and had obviously died of the Plague.

When his dad's Death Day came around again Daley thought he was ready. He prepared himself for the worst - there was no reason to think his dad had become a ghost, after all. But then his dad came running out of the house, smiling and looking just like Daley remembered him, and Daley laughed through his tears and said, "He's here, Mum! He's here!" and, "I've missed you so much, Dad!" and, "I love you."
