((I did not expect the blog to get this far, but we pushed through!))

((Special thanks to my friends like thehorsemenride, greedycatdemon, cecilathepuppet and gothgirlbethany! Seriously, my mutuals ROCK. And of course a big shoutout to all my friends and followers!))

((I purely made this blog on a whim, but I got to sharpen my lineless artstyle, make fanart for my favourite creators and overall just have fun! School has been back breaking so I'll definetely be more active in the summer.))

((I actually do have a tiny thing for our birthday, a event that I kept pushing back. It'll be out soon, I promise you that. I'm also considering introducing more of Laz's friends. You've only seen small answers here and there, perhaps you can break the ice with them soon..))

Where are you now?

"Residing in the basement. First floor of the dungeon. I've managed to clear a majority of the floor but not the boss room. No keys to spend on the treasure room sadly. Stopping here was a break from the envirroment."

He stares at the hardbook cover of the Book of Secrets. He then stares at a pedestal in the corner of the room near the bookshelves. It's occupied by the Book of the Dead, the torn black cover sitting idle.

"Debating on swapping books this floor. The Book of Secrets reveals inacessible locations, but The Book of the Dead may help with its friendly enemies. What do you think?"

*Opens up a comically large bag of book shaped gummies and hands a handful to the Bookworm*

"Oh, for me?"

He picks up a random piece of gummy and pops it into his mouth. The taste of cherry was a little fakey but still sweet netherless. It's been so long since he's had actual food so he savours every chew. Gulping down the red gummy, he expresses his gratitude.

"Thank you, dearly. I guess this is one way to eat a book."

He takes another one. Lime, a bit of a sour taste but there's notes of sweetness. He chews this one up a bit more quickly.

"You folks are quite wonderful to have around."

The Bookworm holds his current book tightly while staring at you. He is rather discomforted, as if this was a crime taking place.

"If you dare harm these precious books on purpose, will I ever be so bothered!"

He says this easing between his usual modest tone and unknown anxiety. He's suffocating his book between his chest and arms with worry. With this next sentence, he retains some stability.

"Books aren't even appetizing! Go find something else!"

"The Book of Virtues is very beneficial! Once I saw it's effects, its power.."

He glances at his trembling hands before brushing them behind his back. He chuckles awkwardly before resuming his sentence.

"Well it's surely one of my favourites. No wonder Bethany uses it."

Shuffling through the barren bookshelves, he comes across a book about cats. It's not Warrior Cats, but it had to do.

"Apologies, but I don't think it's in this library. I can check the next floor if that suffices!"

Turning past the gloomy corridors, past the blood and splinting rocks, you come across a creaky library. You peek inside from the wodden door and discover a well dressed young boy reading from a mysterious book. Absorbed in the information, he barely notices you, like he's in his own world. Then he snaps back, breaking his trance.
