High Mass X-ray Binaries form from two stars of different mass which are in orbit around each other. The more massive one evolves faster and reaches the end of its life first, after a few million years or so. It becomes a giant and the outer layers are lost to its companion. Then it explodes in a supernova leaving behind either a neutron star or a black hole. (source)

NPG (NPC Grian) and Robot Grian my BELOVEDS. They are both so so terribly underrated (Robot Grian ESPECIALLY) but I love them both. Also I have no idea what's up with the lineart- I was going to change it completely to red but when I used the bucket tool it did that and I thought it looks cool.

surprise! more secret husbands thoughts, brought to you by the first time grian goes to the end after escaping the watchers <3

- for a good chunk of early s6 grian avoids the end like the plague. nothing can make him want to go, not even any of the cool new stuff that he hasn’t seen

- plus he has wings attached to his back. he has no reason to go! (wrong. shulker boxes.)

- iskall invites him to the end, trying to be nice and friendly. grian at first goes to turn him down but realizes “oh. I’m low on shulkers. oh no.” he agrees

- which is fine! it’s been long enough, after all! he’s doing better, he and scar are doing better! everything is fine now. he’ll be totally fine in the end

- they go to the end and grian is a little nervous about the portal but !!! he gets through it :D and they raid an end city. things are going pretty well !!!

- right up until it’s time for them to head back. and grian is paralyzed. he can’t go through it. he can’t jump in. what if they snatch him again? what if he goes through, and it’s not his own base that he wakes up in? what if he’s right back in the void again, more god than player? he can’t

- iskall tries to get through to grian but he’s not really reaching him… so he turns around and contacts the first hermit that comes to mind. scar. surely he’ll know how to help grian, the two of them are pretty close, and mumbo isn’t available — he messages scar and the man is SPEEDING to the end

- scar pops in, takes one look at his husband and immediately starts talking to him so softly, holding his hands out to him. he sends iskall back to give them some space. scar walks grian through their morning, retelling the events that took place — “you know, you were hogging the blankets again g? I had to snuggle up real close just to get warm! I’m starting to think you’re stealing the blankets so that I’m forced to snuggle with you.” he talks about waking up beside him, jellie coming to greet them, the two of them making breakfast together

- he doesn’t stop talking until that faraway look goes away and grian says his name and is able to tell him where they are

- he holds scar’s hand so tightly when they go back through the portal, and he sags into his arms when he realizes he really is safe

- “sorry for freaking out like that” “shhh, don’t you apologize, sunshine. it was a completely understandable reaction. and if you want to talk through it, know that we can when you’re ready”

- the next time grian goes to the end he goes with scar
