MANIFESTING FOR OVERTHINKERS: faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie dust.
This post is for my overthinking babes - I, quite literally, am you. If you are like me before I got proficient at manifesting/shifting, you probably get really frustrated whenever someone is like "manifesting/shifting is so easy!!" because, as us overthinkers know, overthinking makes any easy task waaaaaay too complicated. So, here are some tips and trick to put that overthinking brain to sleep and stop hindering yourself from that success I know you can achieve.
ʚɞ Know that your thoughts, in whatever quantity, in whatever topic, are harmless. As long as your brain can identify a negative thought and know that you don't want it to happen, you cannot "accidentally" manifest something bad. However, this does lead into my next topic...
ʚɞ Focus on the good only. Don't give attention to the bad, because, even if your brain knows you don't want something, giving attention to it may make your subconscious think "oh, we're spending a lot of time on this thing, maybe they want this thing??" This is where the limiting belief of "you can't use negative words" comes into play. I think that it's false, but I do believe that if you give enough attention to anything, negative or positive, it will come to fruition. The subconscious doesn't have eyes. You have to tell it what you want again and again and again - that's persisting. If you persist in the negative, that's what you'll get. So persist in what you want! It's a lot more fun anyway ;)
ʚɞ Use your crazy thoughts to your advantage. Make the positive dominant. Overthinking can often seem like a bad thing, right? I think sometimes you can use it to your advantage. If you're a severe overthinker, maybe look at it as your brain being logical and critical and analytical in order to keep you as happy as possible. Notice when you're in patterns of bad, recognize that it is just your brain trying to protect you, and let them go. Let only positivity enter your reading frame. If you have a lot of thoughts, utilize a good mental diet so that you have a constant influx of good thoughts.
ʚɞ Make a plan. This was something that really helped me. Flying blind with my manifesting didn't work, and it made me feel like I had no structure and thus no chance of success. So write a few steps down that you want to follow whenever you're manifesting. This provides you with something to fall back on when you're questioning your method of manifestation.
ʚɞ Don't torture yourself, make manifesting fun for you. If you overthink, manifesting can sometimes seem like a chore, and you'll start to associate it negatively. Don't!!! Do!!!!!! That!!!!!!! Make it fun! Daydream, have a fun method, pretend you already have your df and have a fashion show in your bedroom! Get your vibrations high and do the work while doing something fun.
ʚɞ Utilize meditation. It took me forever to accept how beneficial meditation is for me. I use anxiety meditations a lot now before I shift because they get me out of a Thinking At 100 Miles Per Hour mindset and put me at ease before I shift. Meditation can be really beneficial to us overthinkers. If you don't believe me, just try it once! I'll add a link to one of my favorite meditations here. It's not related to manifestation, but it does talk about identifying an old story and letting it go, which I think is pretty cool:
