Season 3 of BSD is good and some of y’all don’t deserve it

So I’ve been seeing a lot, and I mean a lot of negative for season three of bsd, and honestly I’m sick of it. People are complaining and the most minor things acting like they’re the biggest problems (except for one valid complaint which I’ll address).

This is gonna be kinda a rant/why season 3 is the way that it is, but I’m gonna try not to focus on my ranting. Hopefully this can open some of your eyes about season three so you can enjoy the rest of it.

I’ll start with fifteen. In my honest opinion, I absolutely loved fifteen and it gave us very good character details about Chuuya and Dazai, and managed to expand their relationship more than it already was. It was also nice to see Chuuya’s true pledge and why he’s with the mafia, along with details about Arahabaki.

As for what people mostly complain about, its mostly centered around Randou. The biggest complaint I see is how they ruined his character and “turned him into a psychopath” which… honestly I didn’t see him like that at all. I mostly saw it as someone who was confused and scared after seeing something as terrifying as Arahabaki, causing him to act irrationally. I can understand how that makes some people upset, so I’m not too upset about that. But it’s when people call the entirety of fifteen bad because of it that makes me sad. They did good, if people want a better understanding of Randou’s character then the novel can give those details. As for the anime’s adaptation, I think they did good to tie it together.
