A/N: Protective Law reporting for duty. I didn't want to delve too much into the Zou arc so this is just Law being protective at various points in the arc. Also, can I just say, Zou Law is my favourite Law cause gawd dammit he looked so hot in that black button down shirt, you know the one....anyway, I hope you like it!
—☆✿☆—
Despite initially finding your newly acquired bounty amusing, it had made Law hyper-aware of your every move. While bounties would usually imply that you were more than capable of holding your ground in battle, to Law it signified a potential recklessness - a reason for you to test the limits of your powers to a dangerous extent, which only meant you could cause more harm to yourself than you had in the past. And whether it was the sudden soft spot he harboured for you or the fact that you had mentioned Corazon twice, indicating your familiarity - that intrigued him, Law felt protective.
This protective instinct first manifested when you were approaching Zou, or rather it was the first time Law had realised this need to protect you. He had watched as you emerged from one of the cabins and sat alone on the deck, a frown etched on your face. Prior to the incident at Dressrosa, he would have disregarded your demeanour, but now felt that his dynamic with you had shifted, and it was only right to show concern.
"Everything okay?" he inquired as he took the seat beside you, and the faint smile that you gave him, told him all that he needed to know.
"Who were you healing?" His eyes searched you for any fresh wounds, though you had done well to conceal your bruises with a long sleeved top and a pair of loose cargo pants, not to mention the bandages that you were already covered with.
"Some of Bartolomeo's crew had a few minor injuries, nothing to worry about," you reassured him with another smile, touched by his concern.
"Don't overwork yourself," he advised as he made himself comfortable beside you. If you attempted to heal anyone again, at least this time he could intervene.
The next time Law felt his protective instincts surge was when it came to climbing to the top of the elephant on whose back rested the island Zou, where his crew had been waiting for him. The pink dragon that Kanjuro had conjured up made Law feel uneasy. Regardless of the fact that he found your gushing over the dragon endearing, he couldn't imagine a single scenario in which a terribly drawn dragon would reach all of you to the top. However, there weren't any other options, and Luffy's excitement, plus your words of encouragement to the little dragon had everyone piling on top of him, with Law quick to take the place behind you.
The climb was going smoothly until Law noticed your body sway as if on the verge of unconsciousness. His arm instinctively encircled your waist, providing support as you fell against him. "What's wrong?" The tension in his voice was clear, and as he watched you struggle to stay awake he grabbed at your wrist to check your pulse.
"Using her powers on Bartolomeo's crew members must be making her drowsy. She should be awake by the time we reach the summit," Robin answered on your behalf, and Law couldn't help but click his tongue in frustration as you slumped further into his embrace, his hold on you tightening. He couldn't blame anyone for not knowing the repercussions of your powers, but the frustration grew within him towards everyone who had made you use those damn powers.
As Robin had said, you awoke just as the summit came into view. Law felt a sense of relief wash over him as you stirred in his arms, and with a gentle squeeze to your side grabbed your attention.
On feeling Law's presence behind you, you sat up straight and mumbled an apology as you fumbled to break away from his grasp, but he wouldn't let go, instead leaning closer to you, "I told you not to overexert yourself," he chided, and you rolled your eyes in response, missing his irate tone.
"This was before, and it really was nothing. I'm all good now." Despite your assurance, Law remained unconvinced. Once again silently vowing to protect you from any harm, especially in your endeavours to heal others.
_______________________________________________
Law remained glued to your side as you ventured further into Zou and took to examining what remained of the Minks' residence. Earlier, he had let his guard down and you were nearly electrocuted by a Minks; luckily Zoro had stepped in before she could get a hold of you. Now he watched over you carefully, his sharp gaze scanning the surroundings for any potential dangers.
"This looks like it was used to inflict torture." Law eyed you with concern when the words you spoke were accompanied with a tremor as you took in the remnants of the wooden cross that had been stuck to the ground, worry settling in the pit of your stomach. From a little further ahead Usopp yelled something about a huge drop of water, and from where you were crouched on the ground inspecting the wreckage you strained your neck to see what had cast a huge shadow onto the ground.
"We need to get to higher ground!" You heard Robin instruct through the sudden chaos. Before you could even comprehend what you were looking at, Law's hand closed around your arm, a tinge of annoyance in the sigh he let out as he transported everyone to the top of a building that hadn't been destroyed in the earlier conflict.
As you caught your breath, your heart racing from the sudden teleportation, you looked around, taking in the view from the elevated point. The destruction that spread out before you was a clear sign of the chaos that had engulfed the country, and once again a feeling of dread settled over you. You tried to peak your head over the edge of the building, curiosity getting the best of you as you attempted to catch a glimpse of the water from above flood the city. But Law's grip on your arm remained firm, holding you back from leaning any further. Fate seemed determined to test his resolve to protect you.
"Stay back, we don't know when these buildings could collapse," his voice was authoritative yet imbued with concern as he pulled you away from the edge, and you couldn't help but throw him a glare. At first his concern for your well-being had been endearing, but now it almost felt suffocating; his overprotectiveness acting as a sign that he didn't think you could handle yourself.
"I can take care of myself, you know," you muttered under your breath.
"I'd rather not take any chances," he didn't miss the irritation in your tone, countering it with his own stern response. Before you could retort, Usopp's voice cut through the almost rising tension, alerting all of you that he had spotted Luffy.
_______________________________________________
Even when Law had to momentarily separate from the group to reunite with his crew, he was reluctant to leave your side. He would claim that he would go look for them, but then wouldn't move an inch, instead his eyes fixating on you in a silent plea for you to say that you would join him. Though that was far from what you wanted. You were looking forward to reuniting with the other Straw Hats for a short banquet, and if anything craved to get away from Law's protectiveness.
Just when he had had enough of the indirect approach, and was on the verge of suggesting that you come along with him, you spoke up, seizing the opportunity to get away, "Law your crew's probably waiting for you, we'll catch up with you later." You locked arms with Nami and Robin and pulled them away before he could even get a word in.
Law, ever perceptive, knew you were trying to keep your distance, and it was starting to bug him how good you were at it. Upon returning with his crew, his interactions with you were short-lived; you would either swiftly engage in conversation with someone else, or make a quick exit the second he took his eyes off you. Your avoidance made it clear to Law that you would be more inclined to go with Luffy to Whole Cake Island, whether it was to retrieve Sanji or evade him. Nevertheless, Law remained determined to keep you by his side. As discussions about the division of the group for the missions to Whole Cake Island and Wano arose, he was quick to suggest that you accompany him.
"Why?" you asked, your curiosity sparked by his unwavering insistence, and for a fleeting second you thought you saw a flicker of hesitation before he composed himself, "I need your assistance." His cryptic response didn't give you the explanation you were looking for, it was however, compelling, and you found yourself willingly agreeing to accompany him nonetheless.

Summary: On a quest to find what you've been looking for, you acquire the help of the Straw Hat pirates, who've agreed to let you temporarily join them. There are however many challenges that come along with your temporary recruitment - an alliance with a certain Trafalgar Law being one of them.
Word Count: 2.06K
Warnings: fluff, angst, kinda slow burn, swearing, mentions of alcohol as well as its consumption, the occasional OP spoiler.
A/N: I've proof read this like who knows how many times and I can still tell that the grammar tenses are all over the place, probably used every tense possible :-P. Anyway, this is my attempt to add some fluff to this series, although I've come to realise that maybe that's not my forte, but I still hope you enjoy it!
—☆✿☆—
You stand in a corner of the ship, a small smile on your face as you watch the Straw Hats raise their glasses in a toast to the newly founded Straw Hat Grand Fleet. The atmosphere was one of camaraderie and joy, a drastic shift from a few hours ago when you were all desperately trying to get away from the Marines in Dressrosa.
"(Y/N), you ready?"
The party springs to life, but your attention is drawn away from the crowd when you hear Zoro call out to you. He holds two mugs in his hand as he strides towards you, a knowing grin playing on his lips when he finishes taking a swig from his already half empty mug.
To Zoro you were someone who enjoyed the taste of alcohol as much as him, and although that were true, the temporary numbing effects it had on your injuries were an added bonus. So, with a playful smirk, you accepted the drink, clashing glasses with Zoro in cheers before you took a swig of your own.
It had started out as a drinking game between the both of you, which was quickly put to an end when you realised you were no match for Zoro - although your claim was that you were drinking the heavy stuff and he wasn't (the two of you were drinking from the same bottle). However, that was not enough to put a complete stop to your drinking. The two of you soon fell into a rhythm of casual drinking and laughter; refilling the others glass the minute the last drop was finished.
As the night progressed, the effects of the alcohol began to take hold. With each drink, the pain in your body dulled, and was replaced by a warm, fuzzy sensation that left you feeling lighter than air - you were tipsy to say the least.
From where you were you could see Law sat alone at a corner nursing his drink, uninterested in the celebrations around him. With a mischievous glint in your eyes, you looked at Zoro, and as if reading your mind, he immediately got up to drag Law to where the two of you were sat.
"Stop it," Law tries to resist, squirming to get out of Zoro's grip, but his protests are nothing to the swordsman who continues to pull him along.
"Law~" you sing his name, taking another sip before continuing, "you need to let loose, you've defeated Doflamingo."
"No, Straw Hat-ya defeated him," he corrects with a slight scowl, still annoyed that he had been dragged by Zoro into your drinking session.
"Well, you helped," you say with a shrug, stretching over him to grab the bottle of sake, so that you could refill everyone's mug.
"Haven't you had enough?" Law asks, although it's more of a statement. He had been keeping his eye on you since you boarded the ship. You had wandered away from him once you were reunited with the Straw Hats. But, despite the familiar company, Law still felt wary, and unbeknownst to you, made sure that you wouldn't push yourself too far. So, when he had seen you and Zoro indulge in drink after drink, a part of him had wanted to intervene, but the other knew that you would only get annoyed at his interference. Yet, now with the way you so casually balance yourself with your hand resting on his thigh as you lean across him to grab the bottle, a few strands of your hair brushing against his face, he knew he would eventually have to step in. If not for the fact that you were already inebriated, then for the shiver than ran down his spine at your touch (which he had pushed aside as him feeling cold).
"We haven't had a single drink together. I've definitely not had enough," you insist, your words slurred by the effects of the alcohol. Then giving all your attention to the three empty mugs, you pour a drink for the two men and yourself before gleefully knocking glasses with them, the force of your action causing Law to nearly spill all over himself. But despite nearly drenching himself, he can't help the subtle fondness that grows for you as he watches you double over with laughter at your own antics.
It's only after your fourth round with the duo that Law decides to cut you off, his concern gnawing at his conscience when you tumble into him. You had yet again tried to reach for the bottle that sat between him and Zoro, your blurry vision and the spinning room clouding your senses, and in an attempt to grab at something to steady yourself, you fell onto Law.
"You need to sleep." Law sighs, his hands gently grasping at your sides as he balances you. You give a weak whine in protest, but his soft voice and the warmth that radiates from his body only makes you drowsy, and you nuzzle into his embrace.
Law freezes as your head falls to rest against his chest, though he's quick to snap out of it, scooping you up in his arms as he stands up with ease. He hides the concern that is etched on his face with his usual stoic facade as he approaches Bartolomeo, asking him where you could sleep for the night. On Bartolomeo's directions, Law walks down the corridor to the room that was mentioned. His eyes dart towards you at the slightest sound you make, but all you say are a mix of words that are incomprehensible to him.
When he finds the room, he presses his back against the door and opens it, gently closing it behind him so that he wouldn't startle you.
It's a small room with a bunkbed pushed into one of its corners, a table in another. As Law carefully places you down onto the lower bunk, he finds himself examining your features, and his breath hitches when he notices the purplish bruises peaking out from under the bandages on your shoulder.
When he had brought you to the little house in Dressrosa Law had tried his best to mend all your wounds, his way of repaying you for what you had done for him. Still, his powers couldn't completely heal you like yours had done for him - and you were still left with bruises and scars. Law brushes aside the guilt and straightens up, but with a sudden burst of energy you pull him down by the collar of his coat. He steadies his fall by placing his hands on either side of your head, but his face is only inches away from yours, and you give him a lopsided smile that pulls at his heartstrings. God, he doesn't know why you suddenly have this effect on him.
You pull him down a little more, your lips brushing against his ear. "Drinking has magical healing powers like me," you whisper with a giggle and you slightly push him away to meet his gaze. Law's still surprised by the position he's in, although he frowns at your words. However, you don't notice; the faint pink that still dusts his cheeks catching your attention instead. You move your hands from his collar to his face, squishing his cheeks between your palms, which only deepens his frown. Another giggle escapes from your lips, as you give him a fond smile, "Cora-san said you're cute when you're angry, but I think you're cuter when you're surprised."
Silence
"Oye Trafalgar what do you think you're doing!?"
Your words and the sudden entry of Bartolomeo startle Law, and he bumps his head against the top bunk as he quickly pulls away from you to stand up. His soft expression changes to a scowl as he turns to face Bartolomeo, ready to berate the man for yelling, but he doesn't get the chance.
"I came looking for you cause I thought you didn't find the room, but here I find you, trying to do something to (Y/L/N) while she's asleep!" Bartolomeo yells at him, and Law hopes that you'll come to his defense, but instead he finds you already passed out, hugging the blanket close to your person, blissfully unaware of the awkward situation you'd put him in.
He lets out a low, tsk, before he pushes past Bartolomeo, and goes to find a room for himself, ignoring the voice that continues to yell at him.
_______________________________________________
You awake with the harsh light that breaks through the window, the groan you let out partly due to the sunlight and partly due to the throbbing headache that makes you feel like your head could explode any minute. The memories of last night then dawn on you, although they're a hazy recollection of the events that transpired the night before - the last one being Zoro dragging Law to join the two of you for a drink. You couldn't recall what happened after that, and you didn't want to at the moment; now, adding to the headache, was the soreness of your body, the effects of the alcohol having completely worn off.
Nevertheless you groggily get out of bed and make your way to the deck to find the Straw Hats, Law and Bartolomeo already awake. Luffy's boisterous greeting prompts you to groan in annoyance as you take the seat beside Law, unintentionally causing him to jump when your shoulder brushes against his, which goes unnoticed by you.
The group continues to talk animatedly as you try to get used to the sun that blazes down and the loud chatter that surrounds you. You try your best to focus on one thing at a time.
"Seems like are bounties have gone up."
Zoro's words are what finally catch your attention. Though you were not a pirate, you had always found it interesting how even the smallest action could lead to the Government branding people as 'Wanted' - not that what you had witnessed the Straw Hats do was any small feat. So, you were intrigued to see by how much each one's bounty had gone up.
"Really!?" Luffy yells, and you flinch again.
Bartolomeo is quick to get in on the excitement, his entire crew joining in as well as they make a path to their captain's room. The gesture amuses you, and you decide to join the crew just to get a quick glance at the bounties that were surely displayed in a grand manner. However, before he can lead the way, Bartolomeo steps towards Law to say something, and you stop to listen.
"Trafalgar I threw out yours, but your bounty has gone up to five hundred million," he says with a hint of detest, and you can't help but snort at his words, Law's glare shifting from Bartolomeo to you when he finds you trying to hold back your laughter.
"(Y/N)-senpai!" Bartolomeo calls out to you then with a grin, and your brows furrow in confusion at his change in demeanor. Till now he had always addressed you by your last name, and it was never with such excitement. He generally spoke to you the same way he spoke to Law, yet now, he was speaking to you with the same enthusiasm he had reserved for the Straw Hats.
"If I had known earlier that you were a part of Luffy-senpai's crew I would have kept your poster. Anyway, you now have a bounty of fifty million."
Your stomach drops. That couldn't be right, "bu-but I'm not a pirate," you sputter out, as if admitting it out loud would make the bounty disappear, "and even if I was, I just started. Fifty million is too much."
"Looks like you've made quite the impression," Zoro remarks with a chuckle, thoroughly amused by your reaction. The rest of the Straw Hats respond in a similar fashion although some responses are more genuine than others.
" Suuper impressed."
"Good for you (Y/N)! Getting your first bounty must feel great!" Luffy cheers, not at all aware that this was not what you wanted. He gives you a congratulatory tap on the back before he and the rest of the crew follow behind Bartolomeo to see their new bounties, completely brushing off your shock.
You blink in surprise, still struggling to process the news through the haze of your hangover. Beside you, Law chuckles to himself, finding amusement in your bewildered reaction, and it's your turn to glare at him.

A/N: I would be lying if I said I was happy with this chapter :\. Since this story happens during canon One Piece arcs, I wanted to try and stay away from spoilers as much as possible and also avoid changing the original plot, so the chapter kinda ends up feeling a bit rushed, which isn't great...but this is how most of the chapters that include scenes from the anime/manga are going to be like, so I apologise in advance if future chapters feel rushed as well...anyway I hope you still like it.
Challenge: take a shot every time you see the word blue orb/orb ᕙ(  • ‿ •  )ᕗ
—☆✿☆—
"(Y/N) are you sure about this?" Robin asked, pulling you aside before you disembarked at Dressrosa, "We might have to fight." She knew that you didn't like using your powers to harm people after what you had been through on Fishman Island. But you gave her a reassuring smile before the two of you followed behind Law, Usopp and Caesar, "I'll be fine Robin, thank you."
Suffice to say, you were not fine. It had all started when Doflamingo had attacked Law at Green Bit. You had managed to stay out of Doflamingo's sight, and had tried to help Law get away from him when he was cornered on the bridge, but before you could focus your attention to use your powers, Law's blue orb had you surrounded and transported to where the Sunny had initially been docked.
"Fuck, why'd he do that!?" you yelled, as you took in your surroundings, almost instantly running in the same direction you had taken when you first reached Dressrosa.
You had managed to get back into the city just as Doflamingo had covered it with his "birdcage", and you had been helping the citizens reach the centre of the island, healing anyone who got injured in the process, which wasn't great for you. The aftermath of using your powers had started to take its toll on your body. Still, you were desperate to keep going. Doflamingo had done some serious damage to Law on the bridge, and you were sure his condition would have worsened by now. You had to find him.
You had run into Usopp's group when Viola, the former princess of Dressrosa had told you that Law was with a pirate named Cavendish. However, when you had found him, the two of you discovered that Law was already gone. Now, you were back to running around the city helping the injured while also looking for Law.
That was when you saw Luffy - he was being carried on the back of a man dressed in gladiator-wear. You were just about to approach them when you saw the familiar orb appear.
You sighed in relief when you realised that Law was still alive. But when he appeared in place of the orb, you noticed just how much damage he had taken - there was a cloth wrapped around his right arm, but blood still seeped through it, there was blood spattered across his face as well, and he was covered in bruises. Despite that, he took Luffy from the man and disappeared even before you could show yourself.
"Where did they go?" you think aloud, and assess your surroundings, looking for the blue orb to reappear somewhere. A second later you see it, it's further away than you expected, but you're determined to reach the two of them. So, you run as fast as your legs can carry you.
Once you've reached the building, you start climbing up to get to the top, but when you're halfway up you see the orb come into view again.
Shit, why's he moving?, you think to yourself, but you can still hear the faint sound of voices at the top. "Law?" you yell out, but there's no response. Deciding to still climb to the top so that you could scout the area, you're relieved when you find Law still there along with Viola.
"Where's Luffy?" you ask as you rush towards Law, kneeling down beside him. His head tilts up and he's slightly taken aback by your presence.
"I switched him out with her," he answers, nudging his head towards Viola just as another orb appears, teleporting a girl with pink hair who you hadn't seen before. But Viola immediately runs to her aid which lets you focus your attention on Law.
"Did Doflamingo do all of this?" you ask as you assess his wounds, but he doesn't respond.
"Fuck Law, I don't know how much of this I can heal," you tell him while trying to be as gentle as possible as you remove his coat to get a better look at the bullet wounds he's riddled with.
"Don't heal anything," he firmly states, and your brow furrows in confusion.
"Don't be an idiot. You've clearly taken a lot of external damage, god knows how much internal bleeding you're suffering from," you say, as your hand hovers over his torso, but he's quick to grab onto it with his own - not completely wounded - hand.
"From the looks of it you've already used your powers to heal other people," he says, his grip on your hand tightening.
"What's your point?"
"My point is that I know how your powers work. Every time you heal or attack someone you hurt yourself." You somewhat lose your balance, falling back, stunned by his words because you were sure you had done well to hide it.
"H-how?"
"I saw you when you attacked Vergo," Law says, as he leans back against the wall and let's go of your hand, assuming that he had managed to stop you from using your powers on him.
Your quick to recover from the initial shock of his words, and before Law can comprehend you place your hands on his midriff to "work your magic". He tries to push you away, but this time you grab onto his arm with your free hand and hold it down.
"I ate the fruit, I deal with the consequences," you firmly state, and try to focus, to find which of his muscles and organs were damaged.
"Wait, is that why you teleported me from the bridge to where the Sunny was?" you ask, but he doesn't answer, instead objecting to your help, "(Y/N)-ya stop," but you don't relent, determined to heal his injured body.
You can sense the strain on your own body increase, but you push through when you feel Law sowly begin to relax under your touch, his protests fading along with his pain. Finally, after what feels like eternity, you finish your work, and withdraw your hand, the strain on your own body slowly starting to weigh down on you.
"I can't heal your bullet wounds until the bullets are removed, and your arm is still in pretty bad shape, but I was able to stop most of the internal bleeding," you tell him as you lean against the wall letting out a fatigued sigh.
"You shouldn't have done that," he says, and you let out an amused scoff, "A simple 'thank you' works too you know."
"Thanks," Law murmurs, when he suddenly feels your body slump against his, and he immediately looks to see what's wrong. Your eyes are half shut, and you mumble something incoherent, the exhaustion washing over you. But before you can succumb to the darkness (i.e., sleep), you let out a soft chuckle - now almost in a delirious state - and whisper, "Cora-san would be glad you managed to stay alive."
Law's body tenses at your words, and his eyes instantly dart to yours again, but your limp body pressed against him, tells him that you're already unconscious.
_______________________________________________
When you awake you find yourself sprawled on the bed of a small house. You try to get up, but let out a loud groan because of how sore your entire body is. A pair of hands are quick to grab onto you, and you blink away the reminents of sleep to see Law sitting beside you. He helps you stand up and guides you to the table where everyone is seated.
"(Y/N), you finally got up! You almost missed all this food!" Luffy smiles at you as he chonks down on a piece of meat, and you look to see the spread in front of you, your stomach growling at the sight. You stretch forward to grab yourself something to munch on, but a hand holds you back by the arm. A blue orb instantly appears in front of you, and soon after in its place materializes a plate of food.
"Thank you," you mumble and Law responds with a nod of acknowledgement, his usual impassive manner softened by a subtle hint of concern for you.
"Oye Tra, can you pass me some food too!" Luffy yells, despite already having heaps of food in front of him, and Law lets out a, tsk, only giving a scowl in reply.
You're satisfying your hunger when the peacefulness of the moment is interrupted by the door to the house slamming open, and in walks a man with green hair and a nose ring. You had seen him during the battle, but you weren't sure who he was.
"Luffy-senpai! The Marines are going to come after you soon, even the former fleet admiral Sengoku is here! We need to leave!" he yells, and Law instantly jolts up from beside you, his composed exterior being replaced by a look of agitation.
The man, who you found out was called Bartolomeo, continues to explain the plan of action, but he doesn't hold your attention. Instead, you're observing Law. He seems to be deep in thought, and although he wears his usual frown, he exudes a sense of uneasiness that does not go unnoticed by you.
"I'll meet you all at the harbour," he says, and you look at him quizzically, but he doesn't notice. He strides out the door in a hurry, not waiting for a response, and despite your weariness in his change of attitude, your attention is now back on the rest of the group.
Robin had moved to stand beside you, and she gazes at you with concern, "(Y/N), you still haven't fully recovered, do you think you'll be able to make it to the harbour by yourself?"
"Um....yes...don't worry about me," you say, attempting to give her a reassuring smile, although you yourself doubt the truth behind your claim. Nevermind the harbour, you doubt you'd even be able to walk to the door by yourself. However, Robin picks up on the hesitance in your reply and is quick to offer her support which you were about to graciously accept when all of a sudden you're enveloped in a dome of blue light.
"Huh?" you freeze in your spot, confused by the blue orb that has you trapped within its confines. Robin chuckles at your bewilderment, already having a grasp of the unexpected change of events, "Well looks like that's taken care of."
When you realise what's going on, you close your eyes shut, in fear of not knowing what to expect. It's the sudden feeling of weightlessness beneath your feet that draws your eyes open, and what you expect to be the harbour is instead someone's back - you're slung over someone's shoulder, an arm tightly wrapped around your waist. You look to see who it is and spot the white fur cap with black spots.
"Law what are you doing!? Put me down!" you yell, as you try to wriggle out of his grasp.
"You're coming with me," Law says, your fidgeting having no affect on his gait, "knowing those idiots, you'll only get hurt if you go with them."
"Fine at least put me down!"
He finally sets you down and you don't forget to shoot him a glare, "where are you going anyway?" His response is cryptic, leaving you with more questions as he grabs your hand in his and encompasses the two of you in his blue orb.
"Where are we-" you try asking again, but he's already transported the two of you, and you're cut short by the surprise that washes over you when you notice the presence that sits in front of the both of you.
"Sengoku?" you murmer his name to yourself, the sudden shiver running down your spine instinctively making you seek refuge behind Law.
"Been a while, hasn't it (Y/N)?" Sengoku asks with an amused grin, yet you don't respond.
"Spit it out." Law ignores his remark, and taking note of your change in demeanour, takes a protective stance as he lets you hide behind him. Sengoku lets out an amused sigh this time, but does as Law says - narrating the story of a Marine from years go. You fidget nervously as he recounts the details, anxiously playing with your fingers as you hang on to his every word.
"He didn't save you for your name," Sengoku concludes, the weight of the statement prompting you to glance at Law to get a better look at his reaction. His typical stoic facade falters, a look of shock momentarily replacing it. It's clear that Sengoku's words have struck a nerve in him, but he remains silent.
"'Just keep living on', that's something he would have said, right?," Sengoku says as he turns away from the two of you, ready to walk away, "If you wish to do something in his stead - remember him."
He turns his head to look at you, and with a fleeting smile nods in farewell, "It was good to see you (Y/N)."
"You two might want to get out of here," he calls out as he continues on his way.
The shadows that form on the ground grab your attention, and you look to the sky to see debris flying above you, "What the-"
Law swiftly grabs onto you, encircling both of you with his blue orb, "We need to leave. Now."

A/N: So this chapter was actually not supposed to happen, but I was writing the next part and felt like I hadn't shown enough of their dynamic. Hence why it's not a very good chapter, and is a short chapter. But oh well :-P, I hope y'all like it.
—☆✿☆—
After your little argument with Law that night, the tension between the two of you had only thickened. The bickering never stopped.
"I think we should dock at the village harbour. We can get our supplies and leave."
"No, we could get caught. Hiding the ship in a cave and then going to get supplies is a better option."
"Tra, (Y/N)-chan, we just need to get some milk. I can go by myself," Sanji had tried to interject, but neither of you paid him any attention.
"A cave would be all the way on the other side of the island, and not everyone has magical teleportation powers. If we tire out we could still get caught."
"They're not magical teleportation powers, and I can teleport everyone to and from the ship."
"So you do admit that you can magically teleport people."
Law had gritted his teeth and chosen to walk away from the argument, and you had taken that as your sign of victory. Unlike your previous squabble which had been about who knows what, you had won this one - by being petty, but a win was a win.
Nevertheless, despite your constant disagreements, everyone else onboard the Sunny didn't seem to give it much thought, finding your quarreling amusing. Even right now, Luffy, Usopp and Chopper sat patiently on the deck which you were cleaning, their eyes shifting from you to Law, who was leant against the railing of the ship watching you carefully. They were so sure an argument was on the verge of breaking out.
"What?"
There it was.
"It's starting," Luffy grinned, nudging Usopp who had almost given up on a dispute between the two of you.
"You're cleaning the wrong way," Law pointed out and you let out an exasperated sigh as you stopped your task of mopping the floor.
"There's a right way to clean?"
"You need to sweep before you mop the floor," he says as if it's the most obvious fact.
"That's a waste of time. This way I can get the job done quickly and move on to something else." You think you've won yet another argument, and you smile to yourself triumphantly.
"It's going to leave streaks."
You roll your eyes and scowl at Law before going back to mopping, a little more agression in your actions now, "Nobody cares if there are streaks."
"You missed a spot," he states even before you can complete your sentence.
You clench your fists, biting down on your lip to contain the surge of anger that's rushing through you. You swear you can hear Usopp and Chopper let out gasps at Law's remark, mumbling among themselves that you were not going to let that go, which you weren't.
"Fine!" you snap, unable to hold back on your frustration any longer, "If you're so good at it, then you clean!" you say, thrusting the mop into Law's hands before you storm off to the kitchen.
"Hmph, that's all?" Luffy frowns, uninterested in the conversation now that you had walked off, earning him a smack on the head from Usopp.
"Stupid Law, he thinks he's so smart," you grumble to yourself, slamming open the door to the kitchen. As you enter you find Sanji by the stove and Robin seated at the dining table reading a book, and you let out a sigh as you take a seat next to her.
"Everything okay (Y/N)?" Robin asks, placing her book down to look at you, your head now resting on the table.
"Yes, just Law being annoying," you mumble and Robin chuckles, also one to find humour in your bickering.
"That idiot Trafalgar, always causing problems for (Y/N)-chan," Sanji complains as he lights a cigarette, "I should go beat him up."
"It's okay Sanji. But, can I help you cook?" you ask, finding that working in the kitchen with Sanji always helped you calm down, and clear your mind of any bothersome thoughts.
"Of course (Y/N)-chan!" he answers, all too delighted as you take the place beside him, looking around to see what was left to be done.
_______________________________________________
The aroma of the now cooked meal draws the rest of the crew, the samurai and Law into the kitchen, and you take the seat furthest from Law; you didn't want to give him a chance to nitpick on you a second time that day. However, Law seemed to have other things on his mind now.
"When we reach Dressrosa we'll have to split up," he says as he pokes at his food, and the table quiets down.
"What do you mean split up?" Luffy asks, as he continues to stuff food into his already filled mouth.
"We can't all go in together, it'll attract too much attention, and knowing Doflamingo it's not going to be as simple as just handing over Caesar. So, we'll split into three groups. The first group will stay onboard and guard the ship. The second group will go into Dressrosa and look for the S.A.D factory, and the third group will go to Green Bit where we will handover Caesar," Law explains, and you mull over his words. Staying on the ship was the safest option for you, but if what Law said was true, and he was in fact planning on taking down Doflamingo, you would have to go with him to make sure he didn't do anything too reckless.
"How are we splitting up?" Zoro asks.
"I'll either look for the S.A.D factory or go to Green Bit," you immediately say, not looking up from your plate.
"No, you should stay on the ship," Law responds, already sounding annoyed.
You lift your gaze to meet Law's, and once again you can feel everyone look from you to him, waiting expectantly for your response.
"I'm not staying on the ship. If Doflamingo does try to lay a sudden attack on us while we're in Dressrosa, we'll need to recover from it as quickly as possible. The Sunny can at least leave the harbour before anyone sustains any serious damages."
Law clenches his jaw, not pleased with your assertion, but he knows you've made a fair point.
"Fine, but if you're coming, you're coming with me. Just don't get in my way."
Your lips turn upward into a smug smile, another round won by me, but you roll your eyes at Law's remark, "As long as you don't whine about everything I do, that shouldn't be a problem."

A/N: Okay, not gonna lie, this chapter turned out better than I expected it to be, so I hope you like it too. Also, I still don't know what to call this =_=.
In addition, I would just like to state that while the reader does have her own story, a large portion of the chapters won't really dive into it; maybe a flashback here and there and brief mentions of it. It will obviously be brought up towards the end, but this series will kinda focus more on how she builds her relationship with Law.
—☆✿☆—
Things hadn't changed much since the captain of the Heart Pirates and the two samurai had come on board - the chaos still the same. You would even say things had become far more chaotic. The Heart Pirate however, seemed to have grown frustrated with the group in less than a days time, confining himself to the library whenever he could. You would only see him for breakfast, lunch and dinner and even then he would leave as soon as he was done.
The rest of the crew seem to see him more often; they always know what he's doing. Then again, he doesn't really need to interact with me since his alliance is with the Straw Hats, not me, you try to reason with your own thoughts as you help Sanji in the kitchen. Since you had boarded the Sunny you spent most of your time in the kitchen with Sanji, helping him with the daily meal prep. Although, he would insist that your presence was all the help he needed, and while others may have found his constant declarations of love tiresome, you found it quite entertaining. Alternatively, you would spend your time with Nami and Robin, learning cartography and studying about past civilizations. It was under the pretext of expanding your knowledge, but you had a slight personal interest in the subjects as well, which Nami and Robin had caught on to.
"(Y/N)," the voice of the ship's doctor snaps you out of your thoughts, and you turn from the kitchen counter, to see him sticking his head out from behind the door. You smile fondly at Chopper; the little reindeer had melted your heart the minute you had laid eyes on him, and just like Robin you couldn't help but soften any time he spoke to you.
"Do you want me to change your bandages now?" Chopper asks, as he looks from you to your arm.
"Oh right! I'll come right away," you say, remembering that earlier on in the day you had asked Chopper whether he could help you change your bandages. You place the knife that you were using on the counter and follow Chopper to the infirmary, Sanji crying out for you to stay as you leave the kitchen.
"How does it feel?" Chopper asks as you seat yourself on the bed while he rummages around looking for some gauze wrap.
"A lot better! The medication definitely helped."
Chopper seats himself infront of you, and he helps you remove the bandage that you had already started to take off. He then asks you to outstretch your arm so that he can examine it.
"Thanks for doing this Chopper. If it had been my left arm instead I wouldn't have had to ask you for your help," you try to distract him from inspecting your arm for too long, and pick up the gauze, attempting to wrap it around your arm yourself.
"I'm glad I can help," Chopper says as he takes the roll from you to wrap it for you instead. Just then the door to the infirmary bursts open, and you're startled not by the noise but by the person standing on the other side. Law leans against the door frame as he assess the situation, and his eyes once again linger on your right arm.
What is he doing here?
"What happened to her arm?" Law asks Chopper, his eyes now focusing on the reindeer who's as surprised as you are.
"Oh, (Y/N) tripped while everyone was running from that gas and sprained her arm," Chopper says, returning to his task of wrapping the gauze around your arm.
Truth be told, you hadn't been completely honest when you had told the Straw Hats about your devil fruit powers. You had told them that your powers allowed you to manipulate others' muscles and internal organs, granting you the ability to both damage and heal others, and that was the truth. However, what you had chosen to leave out was the repercussions you suffered on using your power - be it healing or inflicting injury onto someone, you would suffer damages to the same organ or muscle to a more severe extent. Why had you not told the Straw Hats about this? You felt indebted to them. They had allowed you onto their ship despite the fact that on your first encounter you had been tasked with the job of killing them, but they had chosen to forgive and forget and you would always be grateful to them for it. So, you didn't want then to feel guilty any time they asked you to help them with their injuries.
"Tripped?" Law says, but it sounds more like a question, and you offer him a brief smile as he eyes you skeptically.
"Yes, I tripped," you firmly state, in hopes of putting an end to this discussion.
"Oh Law, (Y/N) is also a devil fruit user," Chopper says, going on to explain how your powers work, or at least how he was told they work. Through the whole explanation you can feel Law's eyes on you, and you feel uncomfortable under his gaze, it's almost like he's looking right into you and figuring out every small detail about you.
"But her powers don't allow her to heal herself, which isn't great considering how clumsy she is," Chopper teases, and you let out a small chuckle. So far, you had made all the damage you had taken look like accidents, covering them up with fibs about tripping over your own feet or rolling off your bed.
Law doesn't say anything in response to Chopper's monologue, instead approaching you with a sense of purpose. Before you can even protest he has his blue orb surrounding you, holding his sword in front of you.
"Scan."
"Oye Law what are you doing!?" Chopper yells, as he jumps out of his seat to come between you and Law. After what had happened with the kids in Punk Hazard, Chopper had become slightly wary of Law's powers. He knew he wouldn't hurt you, but his ability still perturbed the reindeer.
The blue orb faded and Law looked from you to Chopper, "tripping, shouldn't have caused such severe damage to her muscle," he says to Chopper while taking your arm in his hands to examine it himself.
You pull away from him almost immediately, the slight jerk causing you to grimace at the pain. "It was a hard fall," you say, as you hastily get up and walk to the door.
"I need to get back to the kitchen and help Sanji. Thanks for the help Chopper." You offer him a smile and quickly walk out of the infirmary before either of the two can say anything, leaving behind one doctor puzzled and the other intrigued.
Shit, I'll have to be more cautious now that he's around.
_______________________________________________
In an attempt to be more cautious you had decided avoiding Law would be the best option, which you thought would be easy considering he spent most of his time in the library. But now he seemed to be everywhere you were. If you were in the kitchen helping Sanji, he would be there. If you were cleaning the deck, he would be there. And all he did was scrutinize you, no words were exchanged, just him staring which made it all the more frustrating. The only time you were free from him was when you were on the night watch - away in the crow's nest with one of the Straw Hats to keep you company - just like tonight, except your lookout partner hadn't shown up yet. It had been an hour and no one had come, and the lack of constant conversing was making you drowsy.
It's the light tapping against the floorboard of the deck below you that perks you up, and you peep your head through the window to call out your night watch partner for being late.
"Luffy it's been an hour! What took you so lon-," you cut yourself off when from the corner of your eye you see a faint blue light appear in the room, and you turn around immediately, pulling out the knife that you had secured around your waist at all times.
You relax when you realise that it's just Law. But, then you realise it's Law.
"Sorry, I was reading something and didn't notice the time," Law's words don't sound like much of an apology with how he says it in a monotonous tone, but it doesn't phase you. You're more bothered by the fact that he's here instead of Luffy, and he senses it.
"Straw Hat-ya argued that I need to help the crew. So, he made me take his shift."
You roll your eyes as you take your previous place on the floor. You had been on the Sunny long enough to know that Luffy's incessant nagging could make people give in to any of his requests, but you hadn't expected Law to fall victim to it too.
You take the book from beside you, Forgotten Islands, and pick up from where you had left off. However, you find it hard to concentrate with the way Law's staring.
"Maybe you should keep watch from the deck."
"How do your powers work?" he asks, completely ignoring your suggestion.
"What?" you ask, surprised by the sudden question.
"Your devil fruit, how does it make?"
"Chopper told you - I can manipulate the muscles and organs of others," you say, giving him the short answer, and hoping that he would take a hint and realise that you didn't want to dive into the semantics.
"How?"
Clearly he didn't.
"When it comes to healing I need to place my hand over the area where the organ or muscle is, focus on it and channel my energy towards it to get the desired result. When attacking it's easier, I need to concentrate on my opponent, visualise the muscle or organ, and use hand gestures and verbal commands to cause damage," you say, as you set your book down, waiting for the inflow of questions that you were sure were to follow.
"So with those children on Punk Hazard, you couldn't heal them?" Law now sits across from you, arms folded over his chest and head bent down, his katana placed against the wall beside him.
"My power doesn't allow me to physically remove damaged parts or remove infections from those parts, I can only repair them. So, curing something like a disease that affects a person's genetic predisposition is impossible."
"And there are no side effects?"
"No, I just feel drowsy," you're quick to respond, and Law looks at you with a hint of suspicion. You can see the wheels turning in his head as he tries to think of what to ask next, but you've decided you don't want to give out any more information.
"Enough about me. Why are you so keen on taking down Doflamingo? He's not a Yonko, and I don't see how this whole S.M.I.L.E thing affects you." There's a genuine curiosity behind your question, although in the back of your mind you have a vague idea of what his answer might be.
"Fixing past mistakes," Law says, his lips contorting into a small sinister smile.
"What mistakes?"
"Someone died because they were protecting me from Doflamingo."
"That's not your fault. He chose to protect you," you say with such conviction, Law's surprised by how you sound so sure of yourself. In all honesty, he doesn't even know why he's telling you all of this, he's not one to readily open up about his past.
"And now I'm repaying the favour."
"Doflamingo isn't just some pirate. You could get yourself killed in the process."
"That's a risk I'm willing to take." He says it so nonchalantly, it annoys you how little he seems to care for his own wellbeing.
"If I had put my life on the line for someone, I wouldn't want that someone to die at the hands of the same person I was trying to protect them from." You're trying to reason with him, but you can't stop yourself from glowering.
"I guess you and I have different morals then," he says as he looks up at you with a scowl of his own. Frankly, he doesn't know why you seem to care so much for someone you just met, and it irks him that you do.
"I guess so."
You let out a scoff as you get up from your seat on the floor and walk to the ladder that is used to enter and exit the observation deck. Another second in this room would only swell your frustration towards the pirate.
"I'll keep watch from the deck. Call me if you need anything," and you climb down the ladder without waiting for Law to say anything.
Your earlier decision to stay clear of Law would have to be scrapped. If he was ready to get himself killed in Dressrosa, you would have to make sure he didn't.

Pairing: Trafalgar Law x fem!reader
Summary: On a quest to find what you've been looking for, you acquire the help of the Straw Hat pirates, who've agreed to let you temporarily join them. There are however many challenges that come along with your temporary recruitment - an alliance with a certain Trafalgar Law being one of them.
Word Count: 1.9K
Warnings: fluff, angst, kinda slow burn, swearing. OP spoilers (especially in this chapter). Probably shouldn't read if you haven't watched/read the Punk Hazard Arc.
A/N: 16 year old me is rolling in her grave, ready to resurrect from the dead, unalive me, and take my place because both she and I cannot believe that we are back here writing fics about a fictional man. We also cannot believe that our writing style has not changed one bit. It's honestly quite disappointing.
Anyway, this chapter kinda sucks (proof read, but for sure there are mistakes somewhere there), and the others probably will too (all I've written after this is my favourite part, the rest is up to fate and my willpower to continue writing). But, if it comes to it we can always just erase all of this, and act like none of this ever happened.
Why is it called 'What Do We Call This?" you ask? Because I honestly don't know what the fuck to call this.
—☆✿☆—
She found herself being welcomed onto the pirate ship, despite the fact that just a few days ago she was after their lives. It was truly a strange turn of events that had unfurled in the blink of an eye.
"If that's where you want to go then we'll take you! If I'm going to be Pirate King I'll have to visit every island anyway!" The captain had said without a second thought when she had asked them whether she could tag along for a short while.
To put it briefly she had met the crew at Fishman Island, initially with the intent to get rid of them. However, after certain explanations about memories that she did not want to dive into for the 2nd time that week, and some forgiveness on the part of the pirates, she was now onboard the Thousand Sunny, on her way to the new world, fulfilling her initial goals.
——————————————————————————
The Straw Hats ship had docked at Punk Hazard on getting a call from someone on their Den Den Mushi. Luffy having picked it up without any hesitation had decided that he was going to help whoever it was.
A lot had happened since then. You had been captured along with Nami, Sanji, Chopper and Franky, and had found yourselves in a metal chamber along with the head of a samurai who was somehow still alive, despite lacking an entire lower body. Franky and Sanji had managed to break open the cell, allowing for your escape, but as all of you looked for a way out you ran into some children in what looked like a nursery. You had then escaped with the children, who had begged you to take them with you, but on exiting from the front you ran into a pirate named Trafalgar Law and the Marines. The group's interaction with the two was short, quickly choosing to find another exit.
Law, you thought to yourself as you kept running. You had heard the name before but couldn't quite remember when. You were however pulled out of your thoughts when from the corner of your eye you saw a thin blue orb surround the four Straw Hat pirates. You watched in shock as the hearts of the pirates were switched.
What had just happened?
You took a quick glance at the people behind you, had this been the work of the Marines or the pirate Trafalgar Law?
What you found was the pirate, frozen in place, staring at you as if he had seen a ghost. He had been caught off guard perhaps, not realising that there was someone else with the Straw Hats. But, he was quick to snap out of it, turning away and focusing his attention on the Marines at hand. You too turned back around, a small smile on your face despite the situation. You remembered now, where you had heard the name. What were the chances that you would finally meet him after all these years, you thought to yourself as you lightly touched the strap of your hood.
——————————————————————————
Everyone was now hiding out in a cave behind the research facility you had been trapped in, the situation having completely changed.
You had reunited with the rest of the Straw Hats and Trafalgar Law had also joined the group with the intention of forming an alliance with the Straw Hats. You couldn't help but laugh to yourself when Luffy had readily accepted, thinking back to when he had gladly welcomed you onto his ship, despite the few protests from the rest of the crew.
Your laughing caught the attention of the captain of the Heart Pirates, and you were quick to regain your composure, giving him a quick smile as he eyed you. His attention then turned back to Luffy, but his hand pointed at you, "Who's that?"
Luffy looked from Law to you and back, his smile stretching from ear to ear, "Oh! This is (Y/N). She was trying to kill us," he says, his smile not letting up while Usopp and Nami yell at him for the introduction while you, Robin and Franky laugh, Chopper too stunned to speak. Usopp then explains to him that you've temporarily joined them, not going into further details.
Trafalgar Law was obviously not expecting that for a response, almost in complete shock that someone could be dumb enough to welcome an assassin onto their ship. However, he didn't address it, there were other things that needed to be dealt with, he would just have to be wary of you.
You, Nami and Usopp had volunteered to stay back and watch over the children. However, Caesar Clown himself had come to attack you. Unable to land an attack on him the three of you were knocked out and he took the children back with him leaving the three of you and Brownbeard behind. Luckily, the four of you had managed to escape and were now back inside the research facility with everyone else.
It was a strange group of people; pirates, Marines, a few of Caesar's subordinates, and whatever you were. However, given the situation everyone had decided to work together to escape the gas, defeat Caesar Clown and save the children, but you sensed that Trafalgar Law had other intentions as well.
Initially with the task of helping find the children, you stuck with Nami, but watched intently as Law went off on his own. You quickly made the decision to follow him. Unsure of whether he had any ulterior motives to form an alliance with the Straw Hats, you felt it would be a safe bet if you kept an eye on him, in turn protecting the Straw Hats who you were indebted to - incase he tried anything.
"Nami, I'm going to follow Trafalgar Law. Maybe I can find something that can help the children," you say, and quickly follow behind the other pirate, not giving Nami the chance to protest to your decision.
You kept a safe distance from Law, you couldn't let him see you. Following him through various corridors he finally stops at a room filled with huge tanks, the words 'S.A.D' painted on each of them in big bold letters. What is this place?
"Room."
"Shambles."
Law's voice draws your attention away from the tanks, and you notice the same blue orb from earlier surround him. You're taken by surprise when you see a translucent cube with what looks to be a heart inside it appear in the palm of his hand. Then suddenly Law's flung back and in front of him stands a tall man in a white coat and shades, the cube now in his hands.
"Ver-go," Law tries to say as he stands up but the man squeezes the cube causing Law to fall back down and yell in pain.
Your eyes now focus on the heart, is that Law's? How did this Vergo guy get his heart?
This time Law tries to hit Vergo with an attack. He's able to hit him but it doesn't seem to do much. Vergo once again squeezes at Law's heart, harder this time, and you watch as Law falls on his back, unable to get up.
Shit what do I do? You scan your surroundings trying to find some way to help Law. You're not one for close combat, or combat at all for that matter, so running in and attacking is not an option. Just then you see the Marine from earlier, and you let out a sigh of relief, you could hold off on intervening for now.
Things however seemed to be taking a turn for the worse. Vergo had the upper hand, Smoker almost completely knocked out, yet you had a sliver of hope when you noticed Law dragging himself across the floor to reach for his heart. But, just as he was about to reach for it Vergo picked it up. You looked back to see Smoker lying still on the floor. Then you heard Law scream. A gasp fell from your lips, but you were quick to duck behind a wall before anyone could see you. Your body was shaking, Law's screaming was bringing back the memories.
Prison cell.
Dragged out.
Handcuffs.
Words.
Screaming.
More screaming.
Silence.
Handcuffs.
You try and take deep breaths to calm yourself. There's no point in remembering those things. You're free from it now, you try and tell yourself, You need to do something, if you don't, no one gets out.
Three deep breaths. You swore to yourself that you would never do this again, but maybe that wasn't the best idea when you had decided to associate yourself with pirates.
You outstretch your arm, and focus your attention on Vergo while still trying to hide yourself. From the corner of your eye you can see Smoker slowly starting to get up. You have to time this right.
"Grip."
"Twist."
You close your hands into a tight fist, and twist your wrist to the right.
Vergo suddenly screams, an excruciating pain surging through his right arm, and he drops Law's heart, just as Smoker hits Vergo from behind.
You unclench your fist and bite down on your hat that you had already placed between your teeth, trying your best not to let out a gut-wrenching scream of your own as you slide down against the wall to hide yourself.
The problem with these powers? You feel the same pain you inflict onto others, only it's far worse than what they feel.
——————————————————————————
Law's surprised by the way Vergo is suddenly gripping at his arm, but he immediately looks to his right, he heard that gasp from earlier. He knows you've been following him, watching him, but until now he wasn't sure why. You're gripping at your right arm as well, from your expression he can tell you're in pain, did you do that? He doesn't know what to make of it. However, he takes this as his chance to get his heart back, and just in time - Vergo's attention is back on him.
——————————————————————————
Trafalgar Law, you say to yourself, eyeing the man whose sitting by himself away from the rest of the group. He's different from what you had heard about him. Given, what you had heard about him was from a long time ago.
After the pain had subsided you had decided to get away just as Law laid his final attack on Vergo. You didn't want him questioning why you had followed him, and you definitely wouldn't have been able to explain why your right arm was limp. Instead, you headed back to the Straw Hats and acted as if you never saw or heard what happened.
"(Y/N)-chan?"
"Hmm?" You turn your attention to Sanji who's holding out a bowl of food.
"Could you give this to Tra?" he asks, and you nod your head as you take the bowl from him.
Law's staring at Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hats, annoyance etched on his face. When he sees you his eyes do a quick scan from head to toe, but you notice how they linger on your right arm, which you quickly hide behind your back, shoving the bowl towards him.
"Here, Sanji wanted me to give this to you," you say, and he takes the bowl from you, nodding in thanks. You stand beside him for some time, waiting for him to say something, anything, but not a word comes out.
"Well, if you need more let me know," you say, quickly scurrying back to the cook who's all too happy with your company.

A/N: Now you're probably wondering after reading this, why the fuck are you writing? It's very simple actually - because what's the point in living if you don't keep adding to the list of things you're embarrassed about <( ̄︶ ̄)> ..... anyway see you next time....unless I choose to dip after this.
