look back pv got me reminiscing again. the inherent and juvenile desire for recognition and acknowledgment. a need to chase after the praise you once received for your work after finding someone who seems inherently better then you - and then finding recognition and acknowledgment through them instead. you grow out of it, but you treasure it.
sometimes i get home and everything is like "maybe today". but then i remember the stuff ive said about naberius tern and realise that i can't die with that forever etched into discord's database

i got caught up in the cannibalism metaphors again. not only in the romantic sense of wanting to become whole with something, but as it is; consumption for the sake of consumption, for the sake of the macrabe. there's a thought here that to be eaten is an intimate thing; stripping flesh from flesh, cooking the organs, becoming one with someone through and through.
but also - also - is it really love if it's not a mutual meal? i'm sure there's something to be said about eating and stripping someone of their self in order to satiate your hunger. you will not feed them; you will take from them whatever it is you desire. and they will offer it you; their heart, their liver, their intestines. you chew it up and spit it out. you got what you desired, after all.
there is something else about loving someone so much you want to kill them, because it's the only way you can heal with that lovesickness. but it's more intimate, i'm sure, to literally attach a part of them to you - not by consuming a part of them, but by literally stitching parts of you together.
ahhh. i saw a really good doomed ship concept of a guy stealing another guy's eye to put into his socket. that's a real metaphor for wanting to become a part of someone. i want to use that idea too. ah, ah... maybe that's a better literal way of putting it... authors learn and pick up different concepts and sorts of prose from different authors... by taking that concept, i'd be stripping a piece of flesh off of the original author... ah, ahh...
Israel controls all food that enters the Gaza Strip. In 2007, Israeli authorities mandated that Palestinians in Gaza should receive only the minimum of food to avoid malnutrition, featuring 37% fewer fruits and veggies than the average Israeli. Though Israel claims to have ended this policy, as of 2017, 40% of Gaza’s households suffered from severe food insecurity, largely as a result of Israel’s blockade.
Fellas, is it gay to leave your entire life behind to search for a guy who is your proclaimed other half and make everyone think you’re dead for 2+ years because you didn’t return home and after living on an artificial island for over a year you and your friends get kidnapped as blackmail because your kidnappers know how much you mean to said guy and then said guy saves you and after he saves you the two of you have a heart-to-heart on the beach where you make him promise to not leave you again
about a solid month late to posting this but better late than never and yes while I have my severe disdain toward PoMas this event was unironically great
