Prince Aventus, M.

With an eclectic personality forged from years of disregarding his royal duties in favour of things more fun, Aventus is a lost soul within the kingdom walls. Yearning for a life more fulfilling than yelling orders and awaiting to be married off into another kingdom; he's eager for some action wherever he goes. His inclination towards chaos does often get him in trouble with his mother, Queen Cybele.

A secret plagues Prince Aventus, however, as his royal blood gifts him with more than a simple title and great feasts each night. Aventus harbours a strange ability to see into the future, given the circumstances are right.

Aventus is 5'11, white-blonde hair with freckles that stain his cheeks and the bridge of his nose. His eyes are an inquisitive green, and his slender stature is often slouched.

Princess Mara, F.

Not one to bad mouth, Mara does more work for Vesamaina than anyone else, except for Queen Cybele. Readying herself to take the throne once her mother passes it on, Mara is all work and no play, a stark contrast to her twin brother. Her first priority is the kingdoms wellbeing, and will protect it with life and soul if she must.

Of course, her royal blood has too given her an ability beyond anyone's comprehension, but hers has remained unspoken of. According to her, the only ones that know are herself and her mother; and that wont be changing any time soon.

Mara is 5'9, with white-blonde hair that reaches her lower back. Her eyes are green, posture straight and poised.

Evan Autrey, M.

Autrey is the result of an affair between Vesamaina's late King Thorne and a brothel worker. As a result of being born of infidelity, Autrey and his mother were ousted from the kingdom and King Thorne was swiftly taken care of by his own wife. Not long after his fifteenth birthday, Autrey's mother fell ill and left him to fend for himself in the small cottage they had built a days hike from the kingdom walls. He's a recluse, and intelligent beyond his years.

Though his blood may not be entirely royal, Autrey was still burdened with a gift after his birth: he can travel in time. Experience has only made him wiser, and he may be expecting a visit from a certain lost soul and their new friends soon enough.

Autrey is 6'2, has mousey brown hair and a muscular build indicative of his labours. His eyes are green, hands callused and skin kissed tan by the sun.

Gage Atherton, M.

One of the highest ranking royal guards of Vesamaina, despite his younger age. Gage is a man of service, and does all he can to protect the interest of hew royal family. His closeness in age to Mara and Aventus has however gotten him into a few difficult circumstances over the years. He's strong willed and not easy to make smile, though he does have a soft spot for his little sister, Beatrice. Aventus calls him Grumps.

Atherton isn't one to be taken lightly, and will most likely require some convincing before leaving his post to help anyone other than the royals themselves. Gage does not possess any supernatural skills, though he is aware of the gifts that plague those of royal blood.

Gage is 6'4, with black hair and brown skin. His build is muscular and his strength unmatched; eyes are dark, and hold intent hard to read.

Cilla Rowe, F.

Living in the cellar of her Uncles tavern, Cilla Rowe runs a business that is only accessible under her discretion. Providing natural remedies and peculiar medicinal treatments to the hurt and poorly, Cilla is somewhat of a doctor in your eyes, though she prefers the term 'wise-woman'. She's sweet, and gentle in her touch, and smiles like it's the strongest of all her treatments.

Cilla is black and 5'2, with dark braids and even darker eyes. She has a contagious smile and love evident on her face.

A kingdom residing a short trip from the ocean, and surrounded by woods for hours in every direction, Vesamaina is a secluded paradise of toil and subsequent riches. Queen Cybele governs the kingdom from her throne in the castle of Vesamaina: she is a harsh ruler, but one that her people love nonetheless.

Queen Cybele protects her people from many things, but her deepest secret lies within the royal bloodline: everyone born of their blood comes to harbour a gift unlike any other. Queen Cybele herself carries the ability to control the emotions of those around her. If she so pleases, she can throw souls into the greatest euphoric bliss, or alternatively the gravest emotional torture.

When a stranger arrives in her land with no recollection of how they got there, and claims that they're from another time: Queen Cybele grows uneasy. Tension grows thick when her children grow close with this stranger, and Queen Cybele feels compelled to protect her own- she fears a family secret or two may have broken the surface of their new friendship.

Dawn Chorus is entirely fictional, and not meant to reflect a certain event or period in history, so inaccuracies with real-world events or times are intentional. Demo TBA.

really no words to describe how obsessed i am with A regarding themselves/being regarded as a pillar of aloofness and military level self-control only for them to just. constantly be breaking furniture or whatever is in their path on their romance route. like i am so deeply fascinated by the repression and lack of control over their own feelings translating into these childish and insane physical displays, all of which are almost always unintentional. simply because they really do feel so much, but won't allow themselves any other outlet for it.
