Valerie is both a) broke and b) enterprising and that led her to doing sex work before she got in with the Order of Soros and didn’t have to worry as much about money. She had an onlyfans, but eventually branched out into sugaring when this muse’s father offered her a lot of money for what was (comparatively) very little work. The sugar daddy takes this relationship very seriously, but it is just a business relationship and nothing more for Valerie—though she didn’t do much to discourage the man’s fantasies as that would have been bad for her bottom line.

Eventually, sugar daddy got it in his head that he should introduce his new girlfriend to his actual children, including this muse. A family dinner was arranged, and your muse was shocked to see that the woman their dad was gushing about was their age—or younger! They stormed out of the restaurant, relationship severely damaged.

To their surprise (and horror!) it turns out they share a class with their dad’s “girlfriend,” who uses an entirely different name out in the real world. Valerie doesn’t want to be the one to bring it up, but the whole situation is so damn awkward… surely the ice has to get broken somehow?

Basically, Valerie comes from a lower socioeconomic class than she lets on and only passes as being the sort of person who fits in with Atherton and its secret societies by mimicking this character’s fashion, mannerisms, etc. Valerie looks up to them and sees them as the platonic ideal of wealthy womanhood—someone she wants to be.

The two were (or are) very good friends. This muse probably helped Valerie get the connections necessary to get into the Order of Soros and Valerie helps them out with their academics.

The mimicry could be something this muse has noticed, or they could be oblivious. If they’ve noticed, they could be creeped out, flattered, or planning to use this admiration to manipulate Valerie.

the order of soros is a secret society that all thirty muses are a part of , while dante's nine is a new secret society that muse 02 created behind everyone's backs & only those that were invited into the organization know about it , while the atherton thirteen is the main group of suspects in the death of viktoria whose names haven't been released to the public yet .
