guys. anytime you see someone call what’s happening to palestine a “war” or “conflict”…

please politely educate them and explain that a war cannot happen when the other side has no means to defend themselves. when refugee camps are being bombed. when entire areas of living are inhabitable.

there cannot be a war when the people you’re “fighting” with bullets and bombs are children, women, and men in jeans and flip flops.

there cannot be a war when the people you’re “fighting” are the very ones your government is starving, the ones who don’t even have clean water. the ones who, if not being killed, are dying from diseases because of these poor conditions.

there cannot be a war when one state holds so much power while the other has been oppressed for decades. where 120 countries voting for there to be a ceasefire is meaningless.

there cannot be self defense when you are the one doubling down and trying to wipe out an entire nation because of one day of a group of people from their state retaliating.

there are no excuses when your officials have openly said they consider every palestinian a terrorist. when they have made their racist and genocidal stance clear.

you are most welcome to support palestine and advocate for peace, but don’t you call it a war.

each night that gaza experiences is deadlier than the last, as idf soldiers record propaganda tiktoks, make rave parties and grwms and fit checks, gloat over having food and water, and film themselves deriving sadistic pleasure from torturing their hostages and victims and desecrating the dead.

Palestinians have to display their martyred before the camera for you to believe the atrocities that the zionist entity has subjected them to. they cannot even mourn in private. the apartheid entity murders them in cold blood, and you deliver the killing blow by doubting them.

i can't reshare a tenth of the videos and photos that cross my timeline. i have seen more dead children in the past month than i have known death my entire life.

israeli settlers burn olive trees, bomb bakeries and fishing boats, shower white phosphorus and earthquake bombs on the captive civilians of gaza. you already know about the disastrous effects of white phosphorus, but earthquake bombs were last used during ww2 to wipe out entire cities.

how holy is the land that seeks to be built over the mass graves of thousands of children? is it holier than the miracle of a child being born in this hypocritical world?

all 11 universities in gaza have been bombed. academics should be agitating right now, especially those who call themselves "decolonial thinkers." destruction of universities is a sinisterly deliberate act to sabotage the Palestinians who will survive this great catastrophe.

the act of cleansing your hands before prayer is extremely important to muslims. no part of us can remotely comprehend the grief of the mother who refused to wash her hands from the blood of her children after losing them in a zionist airstrike over gaza. It has been hard for me to talk about how what is going on with Israel and Palestine is affecting me personally, but I grew up in Gaza and most of my family still lives there. My father did not survive the bombings last week and I have not been able to contact my younger sister in days. I am try to being understanding that most people do not have personal connections to what is happening and therefore are justifying their silence, but is heartbreaking to see this misinformation being spread. What’s happening there is a genocide, not a war. It is not antisemitic to support Palestine, it’s not even antiemetic to criticise Israel. There is no grey area or neutrality regarding this, and it is so easy to find resources that will educate you on the subject. It is my people and my home being destroyed so I will never be silent about this, but I please urge everyone to get informed and start speaking up and finding ways they can help.

at the back of his mind he’s gonna rest but he can only really do that when you’re with him. before he knew it, he runs toward you whenever he rans out of breath, he has associated you with calm if works gets too much for him to handle.

“alright, alright,” you can’t help your chuckle at his trick to get his subtle request granted, “go rest until you feel better.” you brushed your hand up and down his back while the other scratched his scalp gently.

he closed his eyes, letting his other senses take charge. ears listening to each beat of your heart, nose slowly inhaling the familiar scent of your fabric, hands beneath your shirt to feel closer to you. as close as he could possibly be.

“d'you know, hannie? you work hard to make carats happy, and you’re able to accomplish that. do you know you’re an actual angel for us?”

truthfully, he doubts that. if there was an angel, wouldn’t it be you? nevertheless, he trusts that every word you say is sincere.

“it’s my gratitude for the happiness they bring- you guys’re my angel.” he looked at you and rested his chin on your chest. “you’re my favorite though.”

Iran protest.

I never ask for reblogs but this needs to be reblogged. I'm not seeing many reblogs or posts about this in my feed. Whatever is happening in Iran, needs exposure to more and more people around the world. In the name of religion and morality, an innocent lost her life. We can never even know how many people have already lost their lives in the past years.

They talk about morality but do the most disgusting thing. It shouldn't be "Morality Police" when they are moral-less themselves and beat an individual to literal death.

Nobody can tell you how you want to wear your hijab or if you wanna wear it at all. It's about respect from the heart. And it is great shame on the Iranian government for trying to hide everything.
