Mammon fiddles with the tip of his pen, all too aware of your lingering gaze focused acutely on him. He stares at the blank sheet of paper in front of him, as he tries to ignore the way his cheeks light on fire. You're only sitting across the table from him, but it feels like you're much closer than that. Mammon tries to copy some of his notes down from seductive speechcraft, but he doesn't get too far before giving up.

Dammit. The one time he tries to study, and you're here distracting him!

Mammon clicks his pen a couple of times. "Stop..." he mumbles through his palm, "...stop starin' at me like that."

Your deep look of concentration dissipates. It's replaced with a small smile. "Ah, sorry, Mammon, it's just that you're very pretty."

He perks up. "I am?" Mammon clears his throat. "I mean, yeah, of course, I am. You're talkin' about the Great Mammon over here." Mammon points to himself with his thumb. That earns a laugh from you, which makes him beam.

"Yeah, you're pretty."

His cocky mask slips off immediately. "Oh, uh, thanks." Mammon scratches the back of his arm. He wants to ask you why pretty? Why not hot or handsome or any of those typical compliments? Not that he minds, of course, but he didn't get it. His mouth suddenly seems dry.

You reach across the length of the table to pinch his cheek. Your smile is enough to stop him from swatting you away.

I'm curious on who your least favorite character is?

I don’t really have a least favourite character. I love everyone equally. Even Simeon and the side characters. Even the new characters! I honestly can’t see any possible rational reason as to why any of the characters are least likable.

But for my MC? That’s a different story.

The “least” favoured character that Hai Sang doesn’t like most is Mephisto. But not because he was rude to Lucifer and the brothers, no. They’ve already met up to terms with that. It’s because he and Hai Sang are rivals competing for who can woo Diavolo first. And whoever wins gets bragging rights for eternity. But other than that? BESTIES FOR LIFE!! Hai Sang actually hangs out with Mephisto and his group every so often so things aren’t distant between them.

But whenever Diavolo is involved? You can bet there’s glares and sparks flying across the room at one another.

Lucifer doesn’t know about this and is oblivious to Mephisto and Hai Sang’s rivalry, so he just sees it as annoyance and hatred.

But overall, Hai Sang thinks of Mephisto as a good friend and a better worthy rival. Mephisto thinks the same thing :) These two love each other too much to hate each other and I think that’s how it should be. Besties forever 🤗

Oh I always love seeing posts with an MC like that! I see myself in that, because I usually always take the first step in everything

I'm a shy person and socially awkward, but when it comes to dating or relationships in general then I take the lead 100%. No idea what possesses me in those situations😂
