Writing Lab Diary - Week 6

Hey, y’all!

Sorry for the slight delay. The dreaded slash eager anticipation of feedback is one helluva distraction.

Anyhoo, MIGHT be able to resume regular updates and ask responses next week. I say “might,” because only myself and one other person turned in their assignments on time, sooo… yeah.

Writing is hard. Especially when you only have a few days to do a turnaround, and especially if it’s the first time you’ve had a few days to do a turnaround.

All in all, though? Great class! Teacher’s been great, classmates’ ideas have been beyond inspired. Overall, great experience!

As usual, I’ll keep you all updated as the situation develops.

Writing Lab Diary - Week 3

Class is going pretty well, so far. Meeting a lotta cool, fellow writers, gaining new tools. You know, classic class stuff.

Turns out assignments are both easy and time consuming as f*ck when you’re an overachieving, lore nut.

And I am an overachieving, lore nut. ; )

Been doing some writing for NHFC in the background, so all’s still good on that front. Looking forward to the day I’ll finally be able to get back to that, but for now, I’m just enjoying the ride.

Finally got the series’ world down on paper.

TEMPORARY HIATUS

Hey, guys! Patch here with a very… awkward announcement.

I’m gonna be taking this screenwriting course for the next seven weeks, and it’s very much a seven-days-a-week thing. Real intensive stuff.

As a result, I won’t really have time to work on the latest story arc or answer any asks between now and then. I’ll try to keep you all updated on how the class is going, but other than that… ^^;

Don’t get any ideas, though. Like I said, I’ve been at this series for over a decade at this point, and I’m not gonna give up on it just yet. I’ll still be outlining future installments during the course, so that as soon as it’s done, I can get right back to dishing out wacky hijinks featuring Cousin and co. : )

Just consider this… an extended winter break.

That’s seven weeks long instead of two.

Know what they say, “absence makes the heart grow fonder!”
