Bulliera@Freddy: The spirit guardian clearly had had his fun earlier with being more flirtatious with this Toxicroak, but ultimately, he decided to cool it just a little. He approached Freddy with a couple of flowers, one of his yellow dahlias and a hot pink rose, having specifically picked them due to their meaning.

"I hope you know I meant what I said before, you're more than free to visit me on my island if you'd like. I hope you accept these as my way of showing that I notice you. You have my appreciation and recognition," he said as he offered the flowers with a little bow. As he looked up at Freddy, he couldn't help but sneak in a little wink as well.

While Freddy was still flustered, seeing him act more subdued did at least mellow him out. After an exhale, he simply took the flowers the tapu offered him.

“No hard feelings at all! It was nice to feel seen. Once you hit my age things just slow down, you know?” Freddy sounded subdued. Almost melancholic at that last one. Too revealing even.

“I’ll take you up on your offer to visit the island though, will be great. Have never seen Alola before either. Maybe you could show me the best parts. But we can cross that bridge when we get there. In the meantime,”

Freddy pulled out a purple origami flower and presented it to the god. “May I offer you for a dance?” This time the toxicroak returned a wink of his own.

The spirit guardian eagerly and curiously listened to the Gothitelle’s explanation amongst the other inquisitive Pokemon with him. Truly an unusual and interesting story, which quite frankly, Bulliera didn’t quite understand, but he did appreciate Gwen’s passion. She enjoyed the inspiration and her costume, that much was apparent, and it made the Tapu Bulu smile.

He couldn’t help but feel like he was being watched, and it made him flinch briefly before he turned to the source, looking down to see the Toxicroak gazing at him through his mask. 

Indeed, the frog’s mask really did hide his blush well, so Bulliera couldn’t pick up on the flustered expression immediately. But he couldn’t help but be more aware of the unbroken staring. He smiled a little, but that smile soon turned into a smirk, and he gave Freddy a wink, purely to mess with him... but also to see how he’d react. It wasn’t often that Bulliera was able to tease those who looked at him like that~

(@ask-world-savers-council) Apiyome@Gwen: The Sceptile stared at the Gothitelle for several seconds, before scribbling on a piece of paper abd showing it to Gwen. On it was written, "What's with the bucket?"

Gwen was already off to a great start, as far as she was concerned. Already being the talk of the party was great for her. The petrified expression of neutrality the mask conveyed hid a wide grin brimming with pride. To her, this mask was the perfect example of no such thing as bad attention.

"I'm glad you all asked. This happens to be the signature mask and bucket combo of the ever talented musician Buckethead! I grew up listening to his stuff as a kid and his stuff bangs!" As she said bangs, the gothitelle let a wave of electricity and dark energy flash in front of her.

"The guy collaborated with Primus, did soundtracks for movies, worked with Guns and Roses and got into mental 4D chess with Ozzy Osborne. You have to respect that!" She then looked over at the gallade, who had made the most blunt act of contempt. "Never would have thought a colonoscopy camera could serve as a functioning arm. But hey we are both repping something."

"Awesome! Slay bitch!" The imaginary Buckethead in her head said. She glared at him, which was not obvious due to the mask's lack of emotion, or even visible eyeholes.

The other three, however, were a different range of reactions. Lenox just rolled her eyes as Gwen gave her explanation of Buckethead. This just made her look like a clown, though that might have been Gwen's intention, since she never liked dress parties due to the typical clientele. Not to mention, the dig about the gallade's robotic arm was uncalled-for.

Brittany just laughed awkwardly. For as different as their tastes were, Gwen was at least passionate on the musicians she did care for. It was kind of fun to watch.

Freddy was more distracted by the Tapu Bulu in front of him. He was grateful for the mask as it would hide his blushing. While he preferred his men for skinny and, for a better word, twinkish, there was something about him that he could not look away. His firm body, his gentle demeanor,, being covered in flowers. Oh Arceus! Was it getting hot in here? It was February, but Freddy felt hot.

Everyone turned their attention to the lucario who asked what was a valid question to everyone. Everyone except Gwen.

Lenox did not believe Gwen when she said she could not take off the mask. So the origin of the bucket was dubious.

"...no. It's just part of a costume. I bought it at a costume store. I have class." Gwen sounded offended in a sarcastic way. Secretly, Gwen was hoping that sarcasm would be apparent to the lucario. It was all love with her.
