Public Service Announcement.

We found this in our backyard today. It is currently kitten season. I don’t have to tell you how inhumane these things are, you’ve probably at least seen one video.

I’m going to make this PSA brief: Don’t put these out for kittens or cats to wander into. Because they will. Rat traps kill and maim without discrimination. They are barbaric and honestly should be illegal with more humane pest control options available to the public. You are not doing the community a service by putting these out. And you’re committing a crime if you are putting them out along with things like anti-freeze for stray animals. If you sneak into someone’s yard to do this again, pray it isn’t mine. Some of us won’t wait on the legal proceedings to mete out justice to you.
