"Gale, I will share some of the chips with you if you don't tell my sister that I took the last pack of our favourite chips. And yes, in theory we could just get another for her, but I just want to see her reaction."

Then, he chuckles, taking a couple of chips and eating them. "I like it. I'll even cover for you, my friend."

How would Gale react to a tav going through something super traumatic during their journey that causes them to go nonverbal?

He'd definitely be worried about them, knowing that it can't be easy to go through something so traumatic. Especially not when you're already under a lot of pressure because of the whole Absolute fiasco and the tadpoles. Especially because that probably means they don't have as much time to recover as they'd probably need because time is ticking for them.

But he'd make sure to check in with them and take as many burdens off their shoulders as he possibly can. He'll be extra protective and try to support them in any way he possibly can, even if it means taking on a lot of the burden himself.

He'd also make sure not to pressure them to talk again unless they're ready. If he talks to them, he'll do so in a calming voice, looking out for any nonverbal cues and using those to figure out the best way to help them. He'll make sure the others do the same, so Tav doesn't feel pressured even more.

He'll also try to be comforting and reassuring in general and do whatever he can to make them comfortable during such a difficult time.

Gale chuckles warmly. "I'm afraid that will take a while... She's still a baby, you know? She needs to grow a little older before she can come play with you... Especially if you're planning to get on trouble as usual." He says with a lighthearted tone.

Lunastra had been looking for an excuse to strike up a conversation with the wizard. Lucky for her, the last place they looted had a plethora of books and she found one that she thought they would both enjoy. It was titled "Magic of the Weave-An Introduction."

As a druid, her connection to magic was through nature. This book was a way for her to get closer to Gale and maybe have him explain the Weave to her.

Taking a deep breath she walked up to him as he finished setting up his tent in the clearing they were camping in for the night. Holding the book close to her chest she smiled at him, "Hey Gale, Do you have a minute?"

Gale turns around, greeting her with a warm smile.

"Of course, my time is all yours. What do you need?"

His gaze falls on the book Lunastra is carrying, feeling an instant rush if excitement.

"Is that... A first edition? I've been dying to get my hands on one of those for AGES! May I ask where you found it?"

The next day, they bring Gale another baked goodie - this time it looks like a strudel. "I hope you don't mind nuts because they're in it." Chuckles and offers him a piece of it, still nice and warm. "Enjoy!"

"Oh, I very much enjoy nuts... Thank you." Gale says, taking a bit of the strudel. "It tastes amazing. Thank you so much. You're too kind, really."

After a bit of eating, he suddenly looks up, giving you a wide smile. "Say, would you let me cook for you tonight? I'd really like to return the favour."

Lynn was staring at the heart-shaped pendant at the end of the necklace he was dangling carefully. His brows were furred with concentration and confusion.

"Why is this thing not working?!" He grunted as he stared into it like he was supposed to see something- which clearly was not happening.

Gale watches Lynn for a while, finally deciding to approach him slowly.

"Are you alright, Lynn? Can I help you with anything?"

He looks at the small pendant, trying to figure out what Lynn could be expecting to happen.
