Wyll's relationship with his 'Blade of Frontiers' title is so interesting. It's a funny quirk at first, the dashing hero saying his superhero name out loud. Then you meet Florrick and he tells you he didn't want you to think of the man he used to be but of the man he is. His entire relationship with his title is him trying to live to an ideal he truly believes in, even after everything Mizora did to ruin his life and alienate him from the people around him. The culmination of his arc, his father offering him everything he ever wanted all those years ago; to return to the city and the people he loves with all his heart, to make a difference for them, only for him to (potentially) decline and change his title again. Not only to protect Baldur's Gate, or the Sword Cost, but every vulnerable person out there who needs it. Another Wyll, a truer Wyll still. Not who his father was, nor what Balduran represented; The Blade of Avernus.
