Absolutely delighted to see film bros giving Venom 2 mediocre reviews, because "there wasn't enough Venom vs Carnage action" and "the movie focused most of its runtime on Eddie and Venom's relationship".

They seem so lost and confused about the fact that this blockbuster, superhero movie is just not for them. It's like their favorite toy was taken away from them and given to kids who actually appreciate it, they can't wrap their minds around their wishes not being taken into consideration.

The reviews say that the plot lacks purpose until the final act, that the screenwriters didn't know how to get to the fight with Carnage, that there's not enough Carnage, and it's like... no, Brad Jared Chad Jeremy Chris Josh Matt, that's not what the movie is about, Carnage is just a framing device for a story that further explores Eddie and Venom's bond.

Andy Serkis and Tom Hardy clearly said "This one's for the monsterfuckers, the weirdos and the queers", what's not clicking?

The thing I love most about the Venom movie is that there are only two ways they can start a sequel: either domestic bliss or dysfunctional roommates.

Human hand can’t reach the alarm? Venom got it, smash that alarm to bits. Too sleepy to find slippers? Cheeky little tentacle got you covered boo. Don’t forget to brush your symbiote’s teeth after you’re done brushing your own, and toss little bits of raw meat over your shoulder while cooking for your goo boyfriend to catch in their mouth.

This is the third time this month Eddie has woken up on some random rooftop in his boxers because Venom got bored and took his body for a joyride. Parasite trying to steal your bacon? Swat that bitch away like a naughty pet. Get your own hand slapped away every time you try to reach for a beer. Eddie said no to McDonald’s so Venom just straight up ate a cat.

No matter which they choose, it’s gonna be gay.

I want Venom 2 to start off with a peppy song playing while Eddie makes breakfast or something. It should have visual gags such as Venom opening the fridge for him to retrieve eggs while he’s at the stove to show how their relationship has developed between the first and second movie and how they really are in sync and in a mutualistic symbiosis thanks

The first scene of the new Venom trailer being basically domestic fan fiction is absolutely sending me 😂😂 a bunch of executives at Sony really went “alright well this is weird as shit but it’s what will sell so fine you horny fuckers we’ll give it to you”. See this is what capitalism should be. The invisible hand of the market should tilt toward what the people actually want even if that thing is monster fucking. Imma write an essay on how this is what Adam Smith was actually talking about
