yeah, that's not how I talk about 14-year-old kids who are in my supervision. I'm also not a fan of ROTC because yeah, it's military propaganda for kids, but can we recognize that they are kids? and they are not responsible for the acts of the US military because they joined what to them seems like a popular club at school and an excuse to go on field trips?

anyway, true that they can deal with the extra physical activity, and I definitely was not like, oh no poor things let's take the rest of the day off lol, but I know how irritating it is to get out of gym class exhausted and have to jump right back into another activity, so I think it's fine to take a minute or two to let the students catch their breaths.

It really is astounding to me how many writers I’ve seen on this website with a small amount of notes in their works, but the fics are the most beautifully crafted things I’ve ever read

#my most kudos'd fic is very mediocre #but it was a 10k fixit posted the day after a massive cliffhanger season finale in a fandom at the peak of its popularity. so #meanwhile i have 0 kudos on a fic I'm astonishingly proud of because it's fahrenheit 451 fic that's more of a feminist analysis of the nove #point being. popularity shouldn't be a reflection of how you feel about your own work
