there's also the option for YOU! to police your own space and block tags for things you don't want to see!

people come to to tumblr to enjoy their interests and we have a functioning tagging system that makes it super easy to block out the shit we don't like but it only works if people tag things! be courteous, tag your hate as anti-'x' or come up with your own tag for your mutuals to block and make that tag obvious somewhere.

i'm curious as to how you sharpen your icons? is there an action set out there that you use or you'd be willing to share? thanks in advance, you're one of my fave creators!

@murkyhazed this is such a nice compliment because I was worried that I was making my icons too crispy and over sharpened lol but I'm glad u like it! there's no elaborate action, just some smart sharpen settings I randomly picked when I first started posting my psds and I don't mind sharing them at all!

also, incase anyone is wondering what psd I used on these screencaps, it's my pepsi light psd <3 please like/reblog if you find this helpful!

hello again my darlings!

it's been a long time since i've posted new content and that's only 85% my fault (the other 15% is school work related and mental illness related) but i don't want to give up on my lil page even though it might seem like i have.

part of my problem has been i want to move away from posting my work to devian.tart. i disagree with a lot of their policies and frankly i don't like how easy it makes it for people not to credit creators for their work because there's no real record of who downloads what so stealing shit like rp icons is so easy because it relies on the honor system.

thus, in order for me to get over my hump of not being sure how to deal with the uploading situation i've created a few options and i'd love it if people voted on the poll below. bitches love polls and democracy, vote here and also in your local elections

option a) post all new content exclusively to payhip but leave all previous content exclusive to deviantart unless someone requests it be uploaded to payhip

option b) post new content to exclusively payhip & reupload upload old content there but don't change the links in the original posts, those links will still go to deviantart ( for this option the link to download old content on payhip will be in a spreadsheet linked in my pinned)

option c) post new content to exclusively payhip & reupload upload old content there but change the links in the original posts to direct to the new payhip download page (no more direct links to deviantart)

secret fourth option! if you have any thoughts, constructive criticisms, preferences or ideas i haven't thought of in regards to this blog feel free to send an ask and i'll be happy to do my best to take it into consideration

under all of these options, my content will continue to be free for download and nothing will be behind a paywall. the ability to pay for screencaps and icons i have made myself (meaning, i'm not using screencaps someone else made for the icons, every bit of the actual creation process is my own) will be available so if you feel like tipping me you can, but it won't be required.

Hey guys, just putting out a PSA because now that's THREE people I know of who've got these identical messages on Discord last night alone.

If a friend messages you apologising because someone "with a similar username to you" tried to deceive them so they reported your account as hacked, and sends an image of a discord email, your friend is the one who has been hacked.

It's hard to read in the screenshot (sorry!) but it looks like the "advice" is something like "file a friend request with our CORPORATE HEAD OF SECURITY to open your case. You have 12 hours to do so or we might suspend your account."

I've been told that if you do contact that user, they try to get you to "prove" you own the account by making a "100% refundable transaction" to them. Which is so scummy.

Scammers catch people out by imposing a time limit and dramatic consequences of not acting fast enough. In that moment of panic, you might not figure out it's suspicious, especially when the email looks so real (it will have your screen-name in it to make it seem legit, but the request code will likely be identical to the one in this post, #40557035) and you're worried about both an impersonator AND losing your account.

If you get sent the above message, try to let your friend know through other ways (socials, etc) that they've been hacked. If you are ever worried, your best bet is to check Discord's website and ask for help through their support page, which has a section for hacked accounts.

What is this about the tumblr staff wanting to sell art data to midjourney?

An ex-colleague of mine mentioned yesterday that there may be contacts between Automattic and midjourney in that direction, but nothing is public yet and I don't have any more info. They probably won't have anything specific to share either, since they left the company weeks ago too. That being said:

I have no reason to doubt my ex-coworker word, they are a trustworthy person.

Tumblr's CEO has been absurdly enthusiastic (comically, even) about AI, and is a big fan of LLMs and 'AI' companies.

A deal with midjourney could solve tumblr financial issues (not the same company, but openAi is paying up to 5 million/year to news companies to use their content as training data... tumblr generates several orders of magnitude more content than any newspaper or any media company and it only would need a 20 to 30 million per year deal to be profitable)

So I don't have any extra info yet, but I'm keeping my ears open.
