A monster P.t 2
Here’s part 2 because I just couldn’t help myself. I’ll be back properly in about a month just because of exams. Hope you’re all keeping safe lovelies !!
The first thing you were aware of was the throbbing in your head. There was a stabbing pain in your cranium and a throbbing ache in your temples.
The second thing you were aware of was the loud noises filling up the space around you. This plus your roaring headache wasn’t a good mix.
“Be quiet !” You roared, voice raspy as you screamed. You got your wish as the room fell silent.
With whatever strength you could muster, you managed to push yourself up from the cold floor beneath you. Finally you were becoming aware of your surroundings.
“Here love.” The guilty looking figure of Hisirdoux Casperan came into view. The man at least had the decency to look guilty for his previous actions.
You took one look at his face and then the glass of water in his outstretched hand and decided that you hated him.
“Get fucked Hisirdoux.” You spat before using whatever magic you could to send the glass flying against the wall.
That was the third thing you became aware of. You could barely use your magic. What usually felt like an endless sea of power had now dried up to a small spring. Something was wrong.
“What ? I thought you said you blocked her magic off. That’s why we brought her here !” Another voice yelled, more feminine this time and also recognisable.
“You !” Your voice was laced with venom as you glared at the girl, Claire, with a seething hatred. All she did in return was smirk at you, whilst her stupid dippy boyfriend stepped in front of her.
He helped his sword, Daylight, up in front of him outstretched towards you. Though no words were said you could hear the unspoken threats: “make one wrong move and I’ll kill you.”
Just as you opened your mouth to let out some very unladylike words, a raw cough racked your lungs. You keeled over onto your knees and let out a strangled gasp as blood splattered across the hardwood floors. Guess you had some internal bleeding. Oh well. That’s where the blood is supposed to be.
Another pant of guilt racked Douxie’s body as he watched you wheeze for air, blood flaking from your torn lips. He’s down this. He’d hurt you. Whatever happened to the pair of you. Once you’d been the best of friends, sometimes more, and now you were trying to kill each other.
You’d tried to kill him, you’d nearly killed Claire and destroyed the town. Yes. You weren’t the same girl he’d once known. The guilt flooding his system receded. He no longer felt so bad. Or at least that’s what he told himself.
“I’ll take that glass of water now.” You smirked at the boy, who’s face has twisted from sympathetic to loathing. Guess you couldn’t play the sympathy card anymore.
Struggling to your feet, you managed to stand, though admittedly a bit shakily. You were 918 years old it’d take a lot more than two sorcerers to kill you.
With observant eyes you took in your surroundings. Hundreds of books lined the shelves along the walls, covering all sides. Judging from the desk and register at one side of the room you’d have to guess this was a bookstore. But there was more than meets the eye about this place.
Yes. You could feel it. Ancient magic lined the walls of this place, power spreading out across the room. This was the work of Merlín. That old bastard. Always ruining your fun even now.
“So where is he ?” You spat at Douxie, who’d backed up to stand with the two other people in the store, Claire and her knight in shining armour.
A solemn look spread across Douxies face, and for a second you could see the vulnerability under his cold exterior.
“He’s dead.” He muttered, eyes narrowed into daggers as he answered you. A part of you would’ve felt bad for Douxies even if you did hate the old man you knew Douxie loved him like a father.
But not anymore.
Instead a smirk spread across your face.
“You know what I am sorry. No really I am.” You room a step towards them, loving the way they all tensed up. Even though they knew your powers were diminished in this stupid store (Merlin probably placed runes against dark magic) they were still afraid of you. Delightful.
“I’m sorry I didn’t get to kill him.” You spat at them.
Unfortunately whilst you laughed to yourself you didn’t notice Douxie seething with anger as your words repeated themselves over and over again in his mind.
Like a man possessed, Douxie lunged at you, eyes wild as he tackled you to the floor. Your back colllided harshly with the wooden floor, rivets of pain running up and down your spine.
Your eyes met the wild ones of Douxie, who’s mouth was twisted into a snarl. You’d never seen him this angry before. You weren’t sure if you should be terrified or excited. Maybe somewhere in between.
His hands clasped at your wrists, holding them a bit too tightly as he pinned them against the floor. You could feel the warmth of his body through the hard metal of your armour.
“What ? Did I say something insensitive Douxie ?” You smirked at him, a cold malicious grin, as he let out a low sound that was almost like a growl.
Jim held Claire protectively to him as he watched the two of you with wide eyes. Though he knew Claire could protect herself he could sense your growing animosity towards her. You were wild, unpredictable and most of all dangerous.
“Dont ever say his name again. You don’t get to say his name !” Douxie roared at you, anger rushing through his body like a drug.
Another laugh left your red lips, raspy and broken.
“What ? Merlín ? You don’t want me to say Merlín. Merlín. Merlín !” You crowed, eyes flashing with a violent rage as you flared back at the boy.
Unable to contain his rage Douxie let out a growl of sorts before swinging his fist towards you. In a blink of an eye you went from feeling a beast like rage to terror, as you watched his fist come crashing down only for it to go through the floorboards right next to your head.
Silence filled the room, except for the laboured panting of the boy on top of you. With wide eyes you surveyed the damage next to you. His entire first had come crashing through the old oak floors, mere inches from your face. He’d easily have broken your nose maybe even your skull. He could’ve killed you.
But now he’d made a grave mistake.
“Oh Douxie,” you mumbled, face quickly morphing from an expression of fear to pity, “ you shouldn’t have done that.”
It was in that moment that Douxie realised the fatal mistake he’d made, as he stared down at his broken and bloody fist to see the broken outlines of white ash tree chalk. The runes. He’d broken the runes.
And you knew this too.
The tiny spring of power inside of you began to swell and like a dam breaking, power rushed through your body. It was an ocean. More power than they could possibly imagine.
“Now I should thank you.” You laughed as you felt the wounds inside of you heal, your body easily stitching itself back up as you regained your power whilst the numerous cuts littering your body began to close up. Of course the blood remained speckled over your skin and shoe but you didn’t really care. It matched your outfit.
With a flick of your wrist Douxie was sent colliding into the wall, with such force that his body went yraught through creating a nice exit for you. Screams came from the street outside of the store, the sounds of sirens fillin the air. It was like music to your ears.
“Dont make another move.” Breaking free of Jim’s grasp, Claire stepped forwards shadow staff raised and poured right at you.
Her dark eyes were narrowed, expression steely as she glared you down. But you weren’t fooled. Her body was shaking and she couldn’t stop it, she also knew that you could see her fear.
Still you’d give her credit for being brave enough, or maybe dumb enough, to face you.
“You know what sweetheart, maybe in another world we could’ve been friends.” With another wave of your hand her staff was wrenched from her fists without so much as a fight and came flui into your outstrehed palm.
She let out a cry of shock as you twirled it in your hand, smiling a little at the all too familair object.
“This should really be kept in the family.” You mumbled, almost absentmindedly as you admired it.
Taking that moment to strike, as you appeared distracted, Jim swung daylight at you, going for your right shoulder, only to come crashing down as your hand met his chest. With one simple pulse of red magic the boy was sent flying backwards into Claire, the two teenagers colliding harshly against a shelf of books.
It rained paper upon them as the two kids laid there groaning in pain unable to move.
“Bye kids. Be good.” You cackled as you twirled the staff with ease and walked out of the destruction you’d just caused.
Another cackle left your lips as you felt the sunlight on your cheeks once you walked out into the street.
From his spot, strewed against a car, Douxie could barely make out the ruby red silhouette of your figure. But he could feel you, the power that radiates off of you. He’d known you were strong but this was insane. He hadn’t felt this amount of power since Merlín was alive.
For a second your eyes met, the cold stone of yours and broken warmth of his. In that meant the two of you weren’t enemies, soldiers for two different sides, you were (Y/n) and Douxie, two people who’d known each other long than anybody else. You were the last things the other had of Camelot, your fallen home.
And then the moment was over as you launched into the air, and out of sight.

A monster
Thought it would be fun to write a douxie x reader imagine where the readers a villain. A big twist at the end !! Tell me if u want a part 2
A cackle left your lips as you sauntered down the street, twirling your wizards staff between your fingers as you watched the chaos unfold around you.
People were screaming and running away in fear, their terror making you smirk wider. They were annoying you anyways. With a lazy swing of your staff, a blast of red energy sent a nearby car flying into the wall of a building.
Glass rained down upon you and yet didn’t even scratch your skin. You were untouchable. A true monster.
“Ladies and gentlemen ! Enjoy the show !” You laughed more as a few people turned to watch in horror as you rose up into the air.
The ruby red stone of your armour glinted under the setting sun, the crown atop your head glittering.
Screams filled the air as fire began to dance across your fingertips, before falling down onto the pavement below. It rained fire upon the town, people rushing to take cover as pandemonium erupted.
“That’s not very nice love.” A voice had you spinning on your heels to glare at the familair figure of Hisirdoux Casperan.
He’d grown taller over the years since you’d last seen him, handsomer as well. What was he now 919 ? Only a year older than yourself. Hell the two of you had known each other since the years were only three numbers long.
“A pleasure to see you as always Casperan.” You smirked sauntering up to the man, who’s eyes didn’t leave yours as you closed in on him. A delicate finger traced along his shoulder, your smile growing as he visibly shivered a little. You could see the annoyance in his eyes.
“Wish I could say the same love. But it appears you’re terrorising my town” He caught your hand in his, the grip tight in warning. Though this didn’t deter you and instead you just closed the gap between the two of you.
A giggle left your lips as you pressed up against him, enjoying the way his eyes narrowed at your actions.
“I’m just having fun Casperan. I remember once upon a time you used to like having fun too. Or are you now just Merlin’s little lapdog ?” You chuckled, knowing that your words would hit a sore spot.
A low growl left Douxies lips as he shoved you away from him.
“Don’t talk about him.” He spat out.
You let out another low chuckle - clearly it was a sensitive subject.
“Oh I’m sorry is that a sensitive subject ? Don’t you like being his little delivery boy ?” You laughed loudly, too caught up in your amusement to see Douxie’s next moves.
With a sharp movement the boy swung his fist, a blue light shooting out and hitting you straight in the chest. The impact sent you flying backwards, slamming against the tarmac with a loud thud.
A bloodh cough left your lips as you pushed yourself up, blood erupting from your mouth as you coughed harder. With a low chuckle you wiped the blood off of your lips, the crimson now staining your hand.
“That wasn’t very nice.” You mumbled lowly, getting up to your feet.
In a blink of an eye you were only inches away from Douxie, before he could even prepare to defend himself.
“Didnt your mother ever tell you it’s wrong to hit a lady ?” Your outstretched palm met the hard surface of his chest, and a bright red light sent him flying backwards much like how you did.
Coughs racked Douxie’s body as he struggled to his knees, letting out a grunt as hot flares of pain shot up his sides. He watched you float towards him, the glare of your red armour blinding under the setting sun. Your eyes were cool and a smirk marred your pretty face as you leaned down to him, face so close he could feel the warmth of your breath.
"I missed you a little Casperan. It’s been what ? About five hundred years ? I’ve been so lonely without you." Your words sent a chill down his spine as you cupped his cheek lightly, and he felt his eyes drawn to the pink of your lips even though he was in the middle of a battle, one he was losing as well.
"Well then love, you shouldn’t have chosen the wrong side." Mustering all his self control the man slapped your hand away, hating himself for missing the warmth of your touch. Even after all these years his feelings hadn’t changed, no matter how much he’d tried to hide them away.
"Oh don’t be like that. I know you still miss me. I can tell." You giggled a little at the blush that coated his cheeks, even more as he turned his face to try and hide it. You had the wizard backed up against the wall he’d collided with, there was nowhere for him to run.
"Come on Hisirdoux. It can be you and me again." You whispered into his ear, noting the goosebumps that trailed down his neck as you leaned in closer.
Douxie could smell the familair scent of your shampoo, lilacs and honey, which had him wishing he could run his fingers through it like he used to. The moment you whispered into his ear he felt the fight leave him, his body reacting without his permission. He inwardly swore as the blush on his cheeks brightened, feeling as if they were on fire. The sensation of your breath and lips brushing his ear had him going slack against you.
You knew you had him now, and a victorious smirk crossed your lips as you pulled back a little, eyes locked on his lips. After five hundred years you’d finally be able to kiss him again. Just as your lips grazed his, a blast of purple magic threw you off of him.
Taken completely by surprise, you only had a second to fling your hands out in front of you, using your magic to cushion your impact with the hard surface of the road. A low growl left your lips as you spun around, your lip now cut and bleeding, the red of your blood matching that of your ruby red armour. Rage filled you up as you spun around to glare murderously at the new group of people who’d gathered around Douxie.
There were three of them, two mortals by the looks of it and one sorceress - the one who’d interrupted you and Douxie. She’d be the first to die.
"You’ll regret that girl." You threatened venomously, a cry leaving your lips as you sent a large blast of red magic right at her. She was cleverly a novice as your attack knocked her backwards easily, sending her into the side of a car.
A smirk lifted your lips as she appeared knocked out for the count.
"Claire !" One of the boys, the taller of the two, rushed to the fallen girl’s side, Claire you assumed she was called. "You monster !" He screamed at you, cradling her battered body in his arms as he fell to her side. The girl remained unconscious, still as a statue in his embrace.
"She shouldnt have gotten in my way." You spoke nonchalantly, twirling your wizard's staff in your hands as you approached them all. With each step you took, their eyes widened in fear.
Though it hurt like hell, Douxie pushed himself up to his feet and stumbled over to Claire, falling to her side next to Jim. His eyes widened in worry at the sight of his unconscious pupil, who’s pretty face was marred with blood, leaking from a wound on her head. He placed a sympathetic hand of reassurance on Jim’s shoulder, giving it a gentle squeeze before turning to glare at you with a seething rage.
"I’ve changed (Y/n). I’m not Merlins lapdog anymore. I’ve got friends. a family." Douxie’s words had you raising an eyebrow in curiousity. The wizard pushed himself up to his feet, summoning his wizards staff. "I’ve changed and yet you’re still, the same. Still destroying everything in your path and throwing a tantrum when you can’t get your way." He spat, venom coating his words.
They hurt more than his attacks had, and for the first time you actually felt a pang of guilt run through you. It made you almost nauseous at the uncomfortable and unfamilair sensation of compassion. However you quickly shoved it down and instead sent him a withering glare.
"Why would I do anything different Hisirdoux? Clearly you don’t remember the differences between you and I. The different ways the world treated us." Your voice rose in anger as you crossed the distance between the two of you, stopping only metres away from him.
Toby stood protectively infront of Jim and Claire, who was still cradling his girlfriend, too distraught to summon Daylight and fight. Luckily, his ginger best friend would be there to defend them. The boy wasn’t the bravest person, not by a long shot, but the sight of your crazed expression, and the blood running down your lips sent chills down his spine. You were truly terrifying
Douxie however gave you a pitying look, the sight of it making your blood boil. How dare he pity you ?
"Don’t give me that look Casperan. You could come with me. It can be like old times." You held out a hand, watching the turmoil on Douxie’s face as he battled against himself.
A part of him looked at you and saw the young girl he’d befriended so long ago, his first actual friend really. The second magical being he’d eve rmet, who’d shared her food with him, her books and secrets...then kisses and love. In his long nine hundred and nineteen years of life he’d never loved anyone like you and yet he felt himself hesitating. The blood running down your lips, the ruby red of your armour and the marred crown atop your head reminded him of the truth of your situation. You were no longer the girl he’d once known and love. That girl was dead. There was only you now.
You felt your hand fall to your side as the conflict left Douxie’s face and a hard expression set in. Clearly, he’d made up his mind. The wrong decision.
"I see..." you trailed off, trying to surpress the hurt that you felt, another unfamiliar feeling, that of rejection. It stung uncomfortably.
"I-I....youre not the same (Y/n). You’re not the girl I once knew." The wizard spoke regretfully, feeling a little bit of guilt at the sight of the pain written on your face. He hoped maybe he could try and reach the humanity within you, it was there he could see it.
A bitter laugh left your lips, blood speckling the pavement beneath your feet as you glared down at it.
"Of course I’m not. What do you think happens after years of being locked away ? Of being abused by your own family ? Blamed for your mother’s death and put into hiding because your father can’t stand the sight of you ?!" Your voice rose in anger as you spoke, louder and louder, each question coming out more aggressive than the last. Another hacking cough wracked your body as you glared at your own hands, hating the sight of them.
"I was a princess once. I had a kingdom, people and a purpose. Now... now I have nothing." You spat, seething in self hatred as your body began to shake, the stress of everything starting to build up as you felt your surpressed emotions beginning to bubble up to the surface.
Hesitantly, Douxie reached out to you and took your shaking hands in his own, the warmth catching you off guard. The tender action had you stuttering to think of what to do or say. It caught you completely off guard. Only a moment ago you’d been trying to kill him and yet here you were, vulnerable under his touch.
"You have something. You have me, you always have and always will." Douxie spoke earnestly, unable to hide his feelings any longer as he watched the walls around you crumble, the old (Y/n) peeking through from under the ruins. Your eyes widened, glossy as tears began to swell up in them which blurred your vision as you glimpses up at the wizard, terrified that he’d reject you again.
However he looked completely earnest, a small smile on his lips as the familair blue of his eyes bored into yours. The perfect way your hands fit into his, the warmth of his touch seeping into your skin, it had you weak under his gaze.
"Douxie ! Get her now !" Claire roared, her voice shattering the beautiful illusion as you glanced from the now awake girl to said wizard who looked at you guiltily before bringing a hand down.
"I’m sorry (Y/n)" and that was the last thing you heard as the world went dark around you. Like a flower you crumbled in his arms, going weak as the wizard caught you with strong arms. Guilt ravaged his mind as he held you close to him. In that moment, face relaxed and eyes closed he couldn’t tell anything had changed, you looked just like the girl he’d first met that fateful day so long ago.
"I’m so sorry princess." The wizard carried you through the destruction you’d caused, eyes never leaving your peacefully sleeping figure. “I hope you can forgive me.”

Hope you liked it, part two should be up soon !!

School rivals p.t 7
This is a long one ! I honestly have no idea how many parts this is going to have but I’ll make a master list for my works so far if you guys want ? Anyways enjoy !!
"Hope you don’t mind love." You could practically hear the smirk in Douxie’s voice as his arms circled around your waist, the intimate touch brining a blush to your cheeks. Thankfully, Douxie couldn’t see it. Sat behind you on your motorcycle, he was oblivious to the way your cheeks had reddened.
"Not at all Casperan," you tried to brush off the growing warmth inside your stomach and smirked as you took off down the street,"hold on tight !"
The wind rushed past you both, it’s cold touch sending chills down your spine as the feeling of flying had you hollering a little. Perhaps you could’ve been quieter given that the town of Arcadia was just starting to come alive in the early morning. Mr. Benoit's cafe was opening to feed the morning commuters and caffeine deprived college kids. A couple of high schoolers littered the streets, clearly not excited at the prospect of attending morning lessons.
Three said high schoolers shot you and Douxie withering glares as they trudged up the steps of Arcadia High school.
"No fair Jimbo, (Y/n) and Douxie get to go off on an adventure and we have senor uhl's Spanish tests first thing." Toby wailed, wallowing in his own self pity before stuffing a Nougat Nummy in his mouth. It wasn’t the best breakfast.
Jim had been focused on the retreating forms of his sister and Douxie but spun around, face paling at Toby words.
"What do you mean a test ?!" At his distressed yells, Claire giggled a little and pat her boyfriend sympathetically on the back.
"Come on boys. I’ll try and help you study in the like...20 minutes we have before class ?" The two said boys just grumbled gratefully at her offer, and the three kids trudged up and into the school, overwhelmingly envious of you and Douxie who’d escaped the clutches of the American education system.
It made you giggle a little that Douxie was clutching a little tighter to you as you sped down the streets, heading towards the canal where Blinky had told you to meet him. Again you became acutely aware of the warmth emitting from Douxie, the feeling of his breath on your neck not helping to keep your blush down
In those moments before you reached the canals, you contemplated the way your relationship with Douxie had changed. Only a week ago the two of you had been enemies, or at least disliked each other. Annoying each other, always trying to one up the other or get a good dig in. And yet here you were, his arms around you as w began the adventure that you’d felt like you’d been waiting for your entire life. Maybe without the murderous ancient spirits and weird glowing trolls.
Things were changing. You just hoped you could adapt fast enough.
At least Arcadia didn’t seem so boring as it once did, in fact you didn’t feel the same longing to escape the confinements of the tiny town you’d grown up in. Maybe....just maybe you might call this place home a little bit longer.
Hidden under the shade of the bridge, you spotted one hulking form and another much smaller one. With a roar from your bike, you came to a stop next to them giving Douxie a fright at the sharpness of the stop. Said wizard looked a little paler than usual as he dismounted your bike. In fact he almost looked like he was going to be sick.
"Oh don’t be such a baby my driving’s fine." You rolled your eyes at the wizard's behaviour who just gave you a flabbergasted look.
"You drive like a bloody mad man love." Douxie retorted, feeling a little shaky as he approached the two trolls. Luckily, the enjoyment he’d felt at wrapping his arms around you had dulled the fear of your reckless driving. Thank god your mum and never seen you on your bike because she’d smash it to pieces if she saw the way yiu drove.
"Ah yes miss (Y/n) and Hisirdoux." Feeling the growing tension and sensing an oncoming argument, Blinky decided to interject quickly, very aware of the time pressure enough were under. He needed to get you both to the sword as soon as possible.
"Hey big guy." You smiled up at Aargh who waved one of his yeti sized hands at you, a smile lighting up his face. You’d take a liking to the pacifist.
"Hello sister of Jim." He responded, waving at Douxie as well.
"Okay no time for formalities I’m afraid. We don’t have much time if what you, miss (Y/n), are saying is true." The happy atmosphere between friends was shattered at the troll's serious demeanour, his eyes hard. Yet again you were reminded of the severity of your situation, the pressure beginning to weigh you down.
With a sharp nod, you matched the troll's serous expression with your own, brows furrowing as the troll pulled out a decaying sheet of paper. The ancient scroll rolled out into a fading map, which you quickly realised was of Arcadia.
"Here you will find Excalibur," Blinky pointed to a spot not to far from your current location the group of you peering down at the map,"but I warn you (Y/n), if you pull that sword from the stone you will have a responsibility that you cannot shed."
For a second you met the eyes of the wise old troll. Blinky had his doubts at first about you, he’d been aware of your existence much like he’d been aware of Barbara's, except you’d never met them like she had. But you’d managed to survive against all odds, and clearly had a will of steel. He just hoped you had it in you to face what was coming next.
"Thank you, both of you." You smiled up at the two, before departing, Douxie again thanking them as he followed you from out under the bridge and into the sunlight.
There was obvious signs of tension that hadnt been there before, like the way your shoulders were tensed and your hands had balled into fists, nearly crushing the map you held in one of them.
He wanted to say something, anything to comfort you. When had he gone from insulting you to ranting to comfort you ? Honestly, he had no clue.
Clearly, the two of you weren’t aware of the fine line between love and hate.
————————————
"Are you sure about this love ?" The wizard glanced between you and the shining silver emerald of the sword not to far from you. His question was laced with worry as he watched you stare at the weapon with unreadable eyes.
It’s golden hilt shone in the sunlight, practically glowing like a firefly. Douxie repeated his question but it fell on deaf ears. It was like a glass dome had descend upon you, blocking out everything except you and the sword. Yiu couldn’t feel the wind on your face nor hear the chirping of the birds hidden in the trees. There was only you and the sword which drew you in like a lot to a flame.
Tiny, undeterminable whispers began to fill the air as you moved closer to the sword, growing in volume with every step you took. With wide eyes Douxie watched you appraoch the swor,d almost as if yiu were in a trance.
"Love ? (Y/n) w-wait !" The wizard lunged for you, to pull you back away form the sword, but it was too late.
A blast of light threw the man backwards, his back colliding hard with the grass. His body racked with coughs as he pushed himself up, swearing at the sharp pain that shot up his sides. But the swears died on his lips as his gaze fell on you.
The moment your hand wrapped around the sword it felt like everything was right. A power you’d never felt before rushed through your body, lighting your veins on fire as with ease you pulled the sword from the stone. A feat Jim hadn’t been able to compe, the but you had.
Excalibur was yours to wield.
"Excalibur is yours now child. Do better than I. Bring honour to the Pendragon bloodline., something I could not." The whispers finally took form onto a distinguishable voice, that of a man's.
"A-Arthur ?" Your question was never answered, and you were left to stare at the sword in your right hand in both horror and wonder.
It was surprisingly light for such a strong looking weapon, and the blade gleamed dangerously as it caught the sun. With an experimental swing, you sliced through the air the move to feeling as natural as holding the sword did. This made sense. The weapon, the magic it all felt right to you. Maybe this sienhat you’d been searching for so long.
A smirk lifted the corners of your lips as yiu souna round to face the flabbergasted wizard, who stared at you in of wonder, awed at the sight before him.
"So what do you think ? Am I a knight in the making ?" You joked, laughing a little as you teasingly pointed the tip of the sword at Douxie's chest who merely smirked back at you and gently pushed the sword to the side.
"I wouldn’t quite say so yet. Would you like a little training ?" He asked cockily, enjoying the look of surprise on your face as his wizard's staff materialised in his hand. Sometimes you forgot that the man was a powerful wizard.
Your smirk grew and you placed both hands on the sword, taking a defensive stance to which the wizard mirrored you. Like a stand off scene in an old western movie, you glared at each other waiting in anticipation to see who’d make the first move.
Of course you did, taking the boy by surprise as you rushed him, swinging the sword in one hand whilst kicking out a leg to knock him over.
Thankfully, Douxie hadn’t exactly been lazing about the last nine hundred years, and with practiced ease he deflected. A loud clash of weapons sent the birds hidden in the surprising trees up into the air, whilst Douxie used his other hand to grab your extended keg that had been aimed at his side, to push you off balance. With a cry of surprise you fell to the floor, letting out a squeak as you rolled to the side to avoid Douxie’s wizard staff.
"Are you trying to kill me casperan ?." You shot him a nasty glare, sprinting up to your feet. If you hadn’t dodged his attack he’d have torn into your shoulder.
However the wizard didn’t even look a tiny bit guilty and instead shot you an easy grin, twirling his staff in an effort to show off.
"Seems more like you can’t keep up with me. It’s okay love maybe you should stick to soccer." He quipped, sniggering a little at the way yiur face turned red from rage.
With a small war cry you rushed the boy again, not faltering in your onslaught of attacks, dodging and parrying him with the skills of someone who’d been wielding a weapons for decades. There was no doubt about it. You were descended from knights and magical beings.
Douxie's eyes widened in slight worry as he started to struggle to keep up with you, the tide of the battle was beginning to shift. Neither of you paused for a meonnt and slowly you began to back Douxie up, who started retreating backwards as you became to difficult to oppose. A victorious smirk crossed yiur face as the boys back hit the bark of the tree behind him, which you’d backed him up to effectively rendering him defenceless. He had no where to run and you could tell he knew he’d lost. Your grin only grew as he swore.
"Give up Casperan ?" Your sword was pressed against his staff, the two weapons shaking with the pressure you both were applying. You tried to push it down, out of the away, whilst Douxie was trying to shove you back, give himself some space to defend himself. There was mere inches between the both of yin and he could see the gleam of victory in your eyes.
Douxie knew what he was going to do next would piss you off beyond belief. Which is exactly why he did it.
"Not quite yet love." You didn’t have time to react as the wizards free hand came up, the cuff on his wrist glowing with a bright blue as a ball of energy there you off of him.
With a thud you hit the ground, not to hard but your pride was still bruised as the wizard smirked down at you. Yiu recsne door yiur sword, ready to basically butcher the i furnishing wizard, except your hand was met with empty air as yiu looekd sirens anxiisjlt for yiu wepoan.
"Oh, looking for this love ?" His condescending tone had you scrambling to your feet and rushing the taller wizard as he held the sword up and out of your reach.
"Oh come on Casperan don’t be such a duck." You grumbled, infurtsted as you jumped up to try and reclaim your weapon which he held up and out of your reach. "Seriously how old are you ?"
"Well I’m about 919, give or take a few years." The wizard jokingly said, biting back laughter as he watched dying fail again and again at reaching the spa on. Thank god for the slight height difference between the two of you.
However you suddenly stopped, an incredulous look on your face.
"Wait hold up. You’re 919 ? How is that possible ?"
The man only shrugged in response to your question, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
“Magic love.” He teased you, laughing as you rolled your eyes.
A part of you felt this sense of sympathy for Douxie. You’d no idea he was so old, and instead of being shocked at his age because of its abnormality you felt sad for him. How lonely to have lived so long.
Noticing the way your brows were furrowing in thought Douxie felt the atmosphere shift, no longer playful and lighthearted. It seems like your little training session was over. He lowered your sword to his side, offering the hilt of the sword to you.
Gaze flickering between him and the outstretched hilt, you gently wrapped your hand around the weapon. Though you’d had it mere minutes the blade felt so right in your hand.
There’s always been something you were searching for and maybe now you were starting to find it. Not in leaving and going far away but here. This was your destiny.
“Tell me about Merlín.” Your demand caught Douxie completely off guard, startling him further when you smiled at him and sat down.
Patting the grass next to him, you watched the dumbfounded wizard plop down beside you. He was come play taken a sack by your sudden friendly behaviour. This was new territory for the both of you.
“If you what tell me about your life...I know we weren’t on the best of terms but...maybe we can be friends ?” Eyes focused on the blade in your hands, you missed the way Douxies eyes widened comically to saucers.
This was followed by a lopsided grin as he felt the last bits of ice between you two thaw.
“I’d like that a lot.”

School rivals p.t 6
Next chapter is up !! Hope you enjoy
—————————-
To caught up in their own argument, your family didn’t notice you slip away from the living room whilst Toby and Claire were being distracted by the fight unfolding before them.
So quietly, you scampered out of the house, regretting not changing your clothes as you stepped out into the cold morning air. Finally, the sun had begun to rise bathing the world in her glorious golden glow. It made Douxie's eyes gleam as he turned to look up at you with an unexpectedly angry expression, his eyebrows furrowed and eyes gleaming with fury.
Hesitantly, you took a few steps towards him, stopping a metre in front of him. A lone bird swept up to the sky, as the two of you stared at each other on the street. Nobody else was up and about yet, the silence deafening. Desperate to say something or anything you went to speak, only for Douxie to completely lose his shit.
"I can’t believe you. I-I seriously can’t undertand what the fuck you think you were doing ?!" His voice rose in volume, going from a hateful whisper to angry shouts. He struggled to contain his fury any longer. From the moment his eyes had fallen on your returned form, he’d been both overwhelmed with happiness and anger. Part of him wanted to scream at you and the other just wanted to reach out and touch you, to make sure you were real.
"D-douxie.." you began to whisper, reaching out a hand which he only swatted away, the gesture stinging not only physically but mentally. His glare pierced right through to your soul. You’d seen him annoyed before, angry maybe. But never furious. Not like this.
Inside of you, you felt your own patience shortening. Much like a candle being lit a sudden burst of anger came over you.
"You know what ! I saved you and my brother so you could at least be grateful for that ! You selfish piece of shit !" The distance between you closed, as you grabbed the collar of his jacket and practically shoved your face into his. His own hands came up to your shoulders, and the two of you glared at each other with such hatred and emotion it felt like you were on fire.
"Grateful ? Grateful ?" He let out a bitter laugh, the sound causing your blood to boil. How dare he laugh at the fact you sacrificed your life for him ? The absolute prick ! His dark eyes bore into yours as he spat his words out, the venom coating them laid thick.
"You’re so ducking stupid sometimes (Y/n). Always so impulsive and hard headed. Didn’t you think what it would be like for me ? Or for Jim ? Huh ? If you’d died !" His voice tore through the street, the birds in the nearby streets scared into the air at the volume of his shouting. A flock of crows fled to the air, their dark forms contrasting with the soft glow of the pale sky.
"I-I...we would’ve all died. Better it was just me than all three of us ! I’d not regret what I did ! I’m not sorry !" Your faces were centimetres apart as you screamed back, voice cracking as you felt your emotions beginning to drown you.
"It wouldn’t have been better ! I-it W-wouldn’t.." Douxie’s voice was hoarse as he choked out his last words, the screaming having left his throat raw. The tears that had been threatening to burst all night finally started to tumble out of his dark eyes, spilling down his cheeks that were red with anger.
The man finally broke, letting out a soft sob as he collapsed into your arms, the gesture catching you a little by surprise.
"I don’t know what I would’ve done if you hadn’t come back...I can’t.." he mumbled into your hair, which was beginning to dampen as his tears stained the locks. You buried your head into his neck. The hug was somehow so right, it didn’t matter that you hated each other, it didn’t matter that he despised you and you loathed him. The hug felt natural.
You couldn’t quite hear his last words, muffled by your shoulder.
"Douxie what did you say ?" You whispered soothingly, anger vanished at the sight of the first test. A part of you was still furious at his reaction, but a greater part of you was singing at the feeling of being in his arms.
"I-I need you here (Y/n). Don’t ever do that again." He spoke with so much sincerity, and pulled away to look straight into your eyes. You found it quite overwhelming.
Hesitating for a second, you didn’t bother to think twice and leant up, cupping his cheek as you placed a soft kiss to it. The gesture was short lived but had a profound effect on him as his cheeks instantly pinked. It was a little salty from the tears but you were too embarrassed to care.
"I promise I won’t Douxie." Your voice was soft, he’d never heard you speak so gently before. The two of you normally argued, berated each other, joked or insulted the other. This was different, not bad just different. He kinda liked it.
For a moment, you two stood there, basked in the morning sunlight as it trickled through the trees and onto the pavement. He reached out tentatively and took your hand, smiling a little as you squeezed his. He’d been dreading asking this next question, because honestly it was just to good to be true that you’d managed to survive. If he asked how, he was afraid the miracle would be ruined. There’d be some horrifying revelation. Or he was secretly afraid he was getting his hopes up, and they’d be shattered. Because he knew of only one wizard with the power to cheat death.
"I need to ask (Y/n)." The sudden shift in atmosphere has you on edge a little, his words serious and cold. "How did you survive ?"
———————————-
"It was weird. One moment I was experiencing the worst pain of my life and the next I awoke in this place...this other world." Your words had everybody on the edge of their seats, as they listened to you. Jim and you had made the gang breakfast, and they were sitting around the dining table as you spoke. You sat at the head of the table with a plate of untouched pancakes in front of you.
Blinky and Aaargh had come back to join you after visiting troll market to make sure that Bellroc and Skrael were checked on. They wanted to be sure the two were dead. There was also the issue of the resurrected gumm-gumms.
Jim was sat closest to you, his eyes widening at your words. No one dared to interrupt, curious and saddened.
"It was quite pretty, everything seemed to glow a little. It was like heaven. Maybe it actually was," you chuckled a little at your words, though a bit bitterly, "This man was there. At the time I didn’t realise it, but I’m pretty sure it was Merlin."
The whole room gasped at that, displeased expression crossing your family’s faces. Toby's usually happy expression faltered masked with the same anger that had twisted Claire’s pretty face. Even the two trolls looked agitated, Aargh in particular. It was only Douxie and Archie who appeared shocked, even a little hopeful.
"Actually he..he had a message for you Douxie." You looked at the boy to your right, who nearly spat his orange juice back into the cup at your words. You would’ve laughed if not for the severity of the situation.
"He wanted me to tell you that he’s proud of you, that he wishes he had more time to watch you grow into the man you are today." As you delivered the wizards message, a crestfallen expression had Douxie fighting back tears, the only reason why he wasn’t crying was because he was surrounded by people. Claire patted her teachers back sympathetically, knowing how much the man mattered to Douxie.
You hated yourself for the next thing you had to say, wishing you wouldn’t have to ruin the atmosphere like this. It hurt to have to burden your family with more bad news.
"That’s not all...he also gave me a warning. There’s something coming, he didn’t say what, just that it was evil and...he seemed afraid." At your words, a chorus of grumbles and gasp echoed in the room.
"Of course he doesn’t give any damn details." Jim grumbled, shaking his head at the cryptic wizard he disabled throughly.
"He did give me one piece of advice. Actually this is what I need to know about. Mum did dad have English heritage ?" Your question had the ginger woman pursing her lips as she thought hard for a second.
"I think so on his mother’s side, why dear ?" You sighed at her confirmation.
"Well apparently, we’re descended from Arthur Pendragon, who’s apparently a real fucking person but I shouldn’t be surprised.” Whereas you were just incredulous at this point the others erupted with a mix excitement and disbelief.
"Dude that’s so cool ! Jimbo you’re royalty !" Toby clapped his friend on the back, his best friend not quite as excited to be related to such an awful king. The man had tried to kill him once for gods sake.
"B-but I couldn’t remove Excalibur ? How can we be related to him ?" Jim didn’t undertand how the sword in the stone wouldn’t budge for him if he was directly related to Arthur. It made no sense, unless...
"No way..."he breathed out watching as a grim smile graced your lips.
"Yep. He’s given me instruction to retrieve the blade. He says we’ll need it to win the war that’s coming.." you sunk back into your chair, looking sadly at the untouched pancakes that were soggy from the syrup.
Only a week ago you’d been a normal girl, ready to move away from cramped home town and explore the world. You had big dreams and hopes, a desire to see everything and experience all the world had to offer. Soccer captain, A* student, part time waitress turned magical being with a great great great great like a hundred more great grandfather who was a king. Fucking spectacular. How had your brother lived these two lives simultaneously and so well ? You had to applaud him for that.
"Well it’s clear, Miss (Y/n), though Merlin can be a tricky character sometimes, he’s clearly warning us and if he believes you should wield the sword then you should." Blinky spoke up, a contemplative expression on his face. There were dark times ahead of them and it had the old troll worried. He only hoped they could prepare themselves in time.
"No !" Out of nowhere Douxie’s voice burst forth, rattling the table as he stood up abruptly from the chair.
Everybody paused to stare at him at his outburst, a mixture of confused and worried expressions in their faces. You in particular looked at him with confusion.
"I mean...it’s not safe. The sword is bad luck. Look at what happens to the last guy who wielded it." Calming down he slumped back down into his seat, hands clenching into fists so tightly that his knuckles turned white.
He wanted to trust Merlín, he really did and he knew should but seriously ? You’d only known about this world for like a week had been kidnapped, enslaved and then died. Now you were talking about wielding a sword and leading them into war. So yeah he was a little against it.
“Guys, we all know how well...difficult Merlín can be. You know I’m not the biggest fan of him, but if he’s warning us about a war then we need to prepare for it.” To your surprise Jim was the one who came to your defence. Honestly you’d expected him to react similarly to Douxie, refusing to let you go and fight.
It was nice to see your little brother defend you.
“Jim’s right. We’ve done this before and we’ll do it again. Together we can win.” Claire stood next to him, linking hands with him and sharing a smile.
There was a chorus of cheers from the people around you even your mum smiled at you in support. However Douxie still looked conflicted, the tension vivible in his shoulders.
“Come on Casperan. Don’t lose it on me now.” You tried to joke, squeezing his shoulder sympathetically. The man gazed from your hand on his shoulder to your reassuring eyes and felt his resolve falter.
“Okay, just don’t die on me again love.” He placed a hand over the one on his shoulder and felt himself relax at the warmth of your touch.
“Well then Ms. (Y/n) let’s go get Exaclibur !” Blinky chuckled as he spoke, glad to see everyone in a good mood as he spoke. It had been a difficult couple of days but now there looked like there was light at the end of the tunnel.
“Umm sorry to burst your bubble you guys. But you have school in like an hour. And no I can’t send in another note sorry kiddos.” Barbara’s words shattered the excited atmosphere and a chorus of groans left the younger teenagers.
You however smirked at Douxie, a mischievous glint in your eyes.
“You ever been on a motorcycle?”

Finally getting round to writing the next instalment in the series ! Hope you like it ! Tell me if you want part 6 !!
——————
"I need your help."
You eyed the man curiously who was standing not to far away from where you were laying down. Unlike the first time you’d blacked out and awoken, the ground below you was soft and plush. It appeared you were lying on a sofa of sorts, and as you pushed yourself up you were surprised to find that there was no pain. The blood that had littered your hands had vanished, and with a hesitant hand you traced the edges of your face. The scar was also gone.
"Am I dead ?" You whispered, voice hoarse as you felt the sudden horrible sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach at the thought of death.
A serious look crossed the man’s face as he turned away from the bookshelf he’d been persuing, to stare at you. He didn’t look older than seventy but his eyes gave away the eons he’d been alive. There was knowledge and wisdom in them far beyond what you could hope to understand.
"No, not yet at least. You’ve reached the line between life and death, which is what let me call you here. You ((Y/n) Lake, are the last descendant of Arthur Pendragon." His words had you looking at him incrediously, a laugh leaving your lips as you stared at him in disbelief.
"You’re cracked old man. Aruthur Pendragon and the knights of the round table ? That’s from a storybook. Next thing you’re gonna tell me Merlin is a real person." You chuckled a little, rolling your eyes at the old man who was clearly crazy. Your words had the old man rolling his eyes.
"He is a real person. Or was rather. We don’t have time for this (Y/n)" Merlin was becoming quickly aware of the time limit on your meeting. He didn’t have much time left to keep you in this realm unless you truly wished to die. He couldnt let that happen.
"Arthur’s sword, Escalkibur is yours to wield. A new foe is coming, a truly evil being and you’ll need it if you’re too fight this war and win." Your eyes widened in confusion as you tried to stand up and reach the man, but as you tried you felt yourself fall, nausea rolling over you.
With a grunt, you collapsed to the floor but couldn’t feel a thing. It felt like reality had turned to sand and you were struggling to grasp on to it. Though you struggled to open your eyes, you managed a few blinks and saw the room, in which you were in, was fading like an old photograph. A white glow fillled the room and you managed one last look at the old man’s face.
"Protect your brother and his troll hunter friends. Protect magic and mortal alike. And please girl, Protect Hisirdoux for me...." Merlin's last words barely registered in your mind as he finally weakened, the magic that he’d needed to hold your spirit there having taken a toll on him.
With a bright flash, your form disappeared the white light fading out of the room.
"She reminds me a lot of you." Merlin spoke, his words echoing around the room that wasn’t actually empty. Though you’d never noticed another person, or spirit rather, had been lurking in a corner.
Stepping out from the shadows, Morgana Le Fay glanced at her senile mentor with a grim expression.
"Perhaps. I can only hope she doesn’t repeat our mistakes."
—————————-
For the third time that week you yet again awoke from a blackout.
"Let’s try and not make this into a habit." Your sour words were clipped as a cough racked your body. This time you felt pain as you tried to push yourself up of the grassy floor you’d found yourself on. Curses fell from your mouth as a sharp pain tore through your side in retaliation for you trying to stand up.
It was a struggle, but you managed to stagger up to your feet, though walking was considerably harder. The red suit of armour you wore was heavier than you realised, and it slowed your sluggish steps even more. Though the scar om your face had permanently disappeared, there was still blood covering your hands and coating locks of your (h/c) hair. You were a gruesome sight to behold.
Thankfully, it appeared to be the very early morning, the sun not yet peaking its head up from over the horizon. Only the birds were awake with you, as you hobbled through the forest, having to grasp onto nearby branches for support. A couple of your ribs were definitely broken, and you’d sprained your right ankle. Guess that meant no soccer for you. How the fuck would you explain this to Coach Lawrence ? And oh my god it’s a Monday today. You had school !
"Dude you literally just died and went to heaven calm down..." You grumbled to yourself, still in complete disbelief that you’d just died, kinda.
You could remember taking down Bellroc, the feeling of stalactites stabbing your body and a weight so crushing that it had cracked your body. Had you gone to the afterlife ? And now you were here, somehow having survived all of that. But they were all safe. Your friends, your family, they were safe.
But oh boy were you going to give them the worst tellinng off of their entitle lives when you found them. Jim and Toby wouldn’t know what hit them. Claire, you might go easy on because you felt considerable guilt for having flung her into a wall. God you hoped she was okay. And douxie....or rather Hisirdouxx ? What a weird name...
And the trolls. For fucks sake there are trolls now.
Luckily, the streets of Acrcadia were empty, minus the stray cat and occasional morning bird who’s sweets song made the journey back to your home a bit more bearable. Somehow you’d managed to stumble out of the forest, and found yourself on the familiar 3rd street where Mr. Benoit'ss cafe was.
The walk home should’ve taken ten minutes, but with your injuries it had taken considerably longer. There were tears running down your cheeks as you spied the familiar sight of your home. All your life you’d dreamed of escaping Arcadia, of leaving this house and never coming back. But now you couldn’t have felt happier to see it again, to be able to come back. You’d always wanted adventure, maybe you were getting it now.
As you walked up the porch steps you noticed the faint light coming from the living room mixed with hushed whispers and words that were too muffled for you to hear. But it had gone silent the moment you’d knocked on the door.
——————————-
"I’m so sorry Jim.." Claire whispered, rubbing her boyfriend back as they sat together on the sofa. She’d forced him to change out of his armour and back into his ordinary clothes once they’d come inside. Their friends were scattered around them, Toby was huddled up on the floor next to them, stroking Archie's fur as he glared at the floor. Brooding in the corner of the room, Douxie's face as shrouded with hatred and anger as his grasp on his wizards staff tightened every time he recalled the last moment he’d seen you.
"I love you too." He could hear you saying that, the words like a song stuck in his head. They went round and round like a merry-go-round.
What was worse though, were the audible sobs and gasps of pain that were coming from your mother, Barbara, as she broke down in Strickler's arms. The changeling had taught you for years and was disheartened to hear of one of his favourite students deaths, especially considering that you were Barbara's daughter. This would be a wound that the doctor couldn’t treat.
"I can’t believe she’s gone.." Jim barely recognised the sound of his own voice as he spoke, lips quivering as he tried to hold back another round of tears. His throat was dry and eyes sore, tinged red around the edges. The home was now a house full of broken people.
A rap at the door caught the rooms attention, everyone collectively sucking in a breath.
"Could be more trouble. Stay on guard." Douxie spoke, almost hoping for a fight. He meeeded someone to take his anger out on.
With a quiet whisper, Jim summoned his armour and sword, the familiar feeling of the cool metal setting him a little at ease. With Strickler and his mother at the back of the group, they proceeded to the front door, all armed and ready for a fight.
But their hostility dissipated at the sight of someone they were sure they’d never see again. There, drenched in blood and littered with cuts, stood the girl they’d all been mourning, her eyes widening at the sight of weapons being pointed towards her.
"Woah I die and come back to life and this is the greeting I get." You half heartedly joked, not quite sure how to greet them considering what had happened. Awkward and poorly timed humour was what you resorted to.
A stifled sob left your mothers lips as she stumbled forwards out of Stricklers grasp, and barrelled into you, not caring about the blood that now coated her white lab coat. A small smile lifted the corner of your lips as you hugged her back, more tears falling down your face as you clung to your mum. The two of you sobbed into each other.
As you peeked over her shoulder, you saw the stunned expressions of your friends and family, especially the tears that were flowing down Jim's face. Pulling back from your mum a little, you opened your arms up and Jim rushed into them. Though he was catching up to you in height, you were a tiny bit taller. The three of you hugged, crying and laughing at the impossibility of the situation.
"I cant believe it." Jim repeated again and again, unable to fathom that you were standing there with them. You were alive. Somehow you were still here with them.
A broken laugh left your lips at his words. You couldn’t believe it either, it seemed like a miracle but you knew better. This was thanks to one man, and you were sure he’d saved your life. Merlin.
"Y-you idiot ! How could you do something like that to me ? To Jim ? You are in so much trouble !" With amazing speed your mother did a whole 360, going from sobbing and incredibly happy, to sobbing and incredibly mad. She looked absolutely furious as she pulled away from you and took a step back.
Before you could protest she was pointing at your motorcycle, that was laying innocently in front of your house.
"No bike f-for at least a month ! And soccer ! no soccer a-and a-a.." she trailed off, her anger dying as quickly as it came before she snatched you up into another hug. "Don’t ever do that again." She whispered into your hair.
"I promise I won’t." You whispered back, grateful to just be able to hug your mum again.
After that you’d been tackled into a hug by Toby and Claire, who clutched to you with a lot of strength for two sixteen year olds. Though you were beyond grateful to be here with them and were flattered by their fear and worry for you, you were starting to get antsy. You had questions for them.
Firstly, how on earth did your mum know about this ? And everything that was going on ? You’d had a furious screaming match when your brother revealed to you that he and your mum had known the truth about your worlds for the last year, and had decided to hide it from you to keep you safe. The argument you’d had had shook the living room, and the other people there had sat awkwardly on the sofas and watched quietly.
Secondly, what was Strickler doing here ? You were very surprised to see your favourite history teacher at your home. You knew he and your mum were dating and were totally cool with that. Or well you were until they revealed that he was a changeling ? What the hell even was that ? You’d gone from furious, to threatening to kill Strcikler to calm and collected. Your emotions were taking a toll. Not to mention the exhaustion of surviving death,. Yet you weren’t sleepy. There wasn’t time for sleep now.
Somewhere between your fourth argument with Strickler, Douxie had decided to sneak out of your home. He was too conflicted at the moment To stay there any longer. Of course you’d noticed the wizard try and slink away, and so as you all started to calm down you deiced to follow him yourself.
You were yet to reunite with the man, and though he might be your enemy in some ways, the state of your relationship and been changed permanently forever. And you also had a message to give him from an old friend.

I’m really happy you liked it !!!! You’re too cute 💙💙💙
Arcadia matchup? I'll give it a shot. I'm just shy of average height with curly hair, hazel eyes, and olive skin. Very bubbly and forgetful, but can definitely calm down for some quality or thinking time. I do a lot of art and dance and enjoy taking AP and Honors courses in school. I enjoy physical touch, platonic or no, and love making things for others. I hope that's sufficient!! Excited to see who you pair me with 🤗
I’d definitely pair you with Krel
- Your forgetfulness would be offset by his astute and focused nature.
- Plus he really likes dancing too and would be eager for you to teach him, and show him all Earth has to offer
- the moment you offer to paint him he sits as still as he can, eager to see what you will draw. The drawing stays with him at all times, it’s one of his most precious items
- being a smart student you can almost keep up with Krel’s thinking and ideas, though of course you find yourself a bit lost when he starts brining up his alien science
- once it comes crashing down on Krel, everything thats happened, from his parents deaths to his sister leaving with Steve, he finds himself in hysterics. So having you there to offer him comfort and a warm hug melts his heart
-out of all the things he found on earth, the music and food, he loves you the most

Could you please write some douxie X reader headcanons where Douxie visits the reader in their place of study and he gets lots of attention. As if "yeah, I appreciate the attention but I came here for (y/n)"I am really loving school rivals btw!!! 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖🌈
Of course !! Sorry it’s taken me so long to answer your request 💙💙
Whilst you and Douxie aren’t dating yet, there’s definitely a lot of romantic tension between the two of you
You both work at Mr.Benoit’s cafe and even though it’s only a twenty minute walk away from your school, Douxie offered to drive you there
So you wait outside of Arcadia Oaks High School, a few of the students still milling about
Of course once they notice Douxie walking up the front steps they’re instantly drawn to him
A few of the sophomore girls, you recognise Mary and Shannon along with Claire giggle as they approach him
Suddenly there’s like ten girls surrounding your Douxie and woah you called him yours
The jealously you felt made your blood boil, even if he wasn’t your boyfriend yet you couldn’t help the envy you felt
“I like your jacket Douxie, Papa Skull right ? They’re my favourite band” Claire giggles, blinding up at him through her eyelashes
A nervous smile crosses Douxies face and he searches for you above the sea of girls around him
Once he spots your unimpressed looking face, he flashes the girls a quick wink
“Sorry ladies but I’m here for somebidy else” and with that he pushes through the crowd to you
Folding your arms in front of you, you look over to the side and roll your eyes at the smirk on Douxie’s face
God his ego could be so huge sometimes
“Aww you a little jealous love” he chuckles at the way your cheeks go red. Still though you won’t look at him, eyes fixed on the ground
“It’s cute, cmon”, he says a little kinder this time and places a finger under your chin. Gently, he tilts your head up so your eyes meet his.
The intensity makes his cheeks turn red, yours an even deeper shade of scarlet
For a second you stare at each other and then awkwardly from behind you someone lets out a low wolf whistle.
You glare over at Douxie’s shoulder to find Steve making smoochie faces.
One sharp glare form you though shuts him right up and he quickly runs away in fear
However the moment was still ruined, and Douxie blinking as he comes out of his daze found you offering your hand to him
Smiling, he links his hand with yours and the pair of you make your way over to his car
Hope you liked it !!

Can ask for a cheerleader reader and douxie, like they are from rival schools but meet at a game and they really like each other
I love this !! 1000% yes !!!
“Come on girls, hair and makeup needs to be done in ten minutes !” You called out into the changing room filled with giggling cheerleaders.
It was a Saturday evening, and a big football game was happening between your school, Arcadia Oaks High, and their arch rival, Arcadia Oaks Academy. Even thinking about the school made your blood boil. They had a nasty tradition of pranking your school the night before a game. One year you’d ended up drenched in red paint, ruining your hair and makeup. It took ages to wash it all off.
Not only that but the student were the worst. Tight Jeans Hank was a player if you’d ever seen it, and had broken Mary’s heart. But the worst had to be Hisirdoux Casperan. His name alone made your blood boil and hands clench into fists. Since the day he’d moved into town the two of you had been at odds. As another magical being you felt threatened that he’d stumbled into your territory. You didn’t trust outsiders, certainly not strange guys with rude cat famialirs.
Also He worked at Mr. Benoits as one of your coworkers so there was no escaping him. You hated his stupid skull necklace and black hair with blue dyed tips. Who did he think he was, coming onto your turf as a sorcerer and stealing all the good magical items ?! Not only that but he always seemed to go out of his way to piss you off.
Also that English accent was definitely not real ! He was totally faking it !
“(Y/n) I need help with my hair it just won’t behave !” Mary yelled upset, flinging her hairbrush onto the side in frustration. You were brought out of your angry, rage filled thoughts by her whining, and quickly ran over to stop her tantrum.
“I’ve got you, no worries girl.” You said reassuringly smiling at her as you picked up the comb, and started to pull her hair up into a high ponytail.
As the head cheerleader you felt a level of protectiveness over your team, plus you were the oldest as a senior in the high school (and nearly 800 years old as a magical being). Girls like Mary and Shannon (who you had struggled to convince to join the team since she was very shy and not to confident) looked up to you.
There was no pressure on your team to look or act a certain way. You hated all the stereotypes about cheerleaders and were trying to get rid of them. For one the uniform ou guys wore came in a variety of styles. If a girl wanted they could wear a short skirt and crop top, but if they didn’t there was also shorts, T-shirt’s or leggings instead. All had your schools logo and colours.
You personally liked the short skirt and cropped top, you knew it bugged Douxie to see you wearing it. He couldn’t keep his eyes off of you and it pissed him off that you could do that to him. You on the other hand loved the power it gave you.
“There we go, you look great Mary.” Tying a neat bow into her hair you stepped back to let her eye your work in the mirror.
“You’re the best (y/n) !! I look fabulous !” She whipped out her phone to take a selfie which you rolled your eyes at.
Teenagers.
—————-
Douxie rarely came to things like high school football games, he wasn’t one for school events. Zoe has to drag him to prom, and he spent the short, thirty minutes he could manage there complaining about the awful music. However he knew that this game was against Arcadia Oaks high school. And he also knew that a certain girl was head of the cheerleading squad.
Douxie had laughed so loudly when he found out you were a cheerleader at work in one of your sarcasm-filled conversations. The amount of jokes he made like ‘give me a C for (y/n) can’t count properly’ or you being a ‘dumb cheerleader’. He’d planned on coming today to enjoy watching you embarrass yourself so he could tease you about it at work.
But then Douxie saw you and your team run onto the field And any thoughts of mocking you flew out of his mind, along with his drink which he dropped in shock, splashing the poor person in front of him.
You were clad in a skirt and top, both in your school colours, with a neat bow tied in your hair. The lively smile on your face made you look electric.
You looked really good. Like Douxie, who’s been alive for 919 years, has never seen anything that good good.
“Mordrax’s miracles.” He whispered, breathless as you and the other girls danced along to the music, pom poms flying in the air.
From atop of the pyramid formation, you and your team had taken, you noticed a certain punk rock guy in the bleachers surrounding the field. And you also noticed his shell shocked expression.
A mischievous grin spread across your face as you were launched into the air, flipping gracefully before the bases caught you. You weren’t daft. Douxie had practically been drooling the way he was looking at you, and it made your heart leap.
There might be some tension between the two of you but it wasn’t all bad.
————————-
For some reason Douxie hung back when the game ended. Even though everybody else was filing out of the bleachers, and into the streets of Arcadia, he found himself rooted to his seat. Well he had some idea why.
Maybe, just maybe, he’d get to see a certain cheerleader.
You bid the girls farewell, hugging Mary and Shannon goodbye as you headed out of the changing rooms. As your skin met the bitter winters night air you started to regret not brining a jacket. Shivering a little you rubbed your arms up and down as you turned to walk out of the field, lit by a few lampposts.
“Cold love ?” A British-accented voice asked aloud.
A scowl crossed your features as you recognised the smug owner of said voice. With a dramatic sigh you turned on your heel to glower at the one and only Hisirdoux Casperan.
“What’s it to you Casperan ? Also quick side note scene hasn’t been a thing since the early 2000s.” You sneered at him, putting your hands on your hips.
“Well darling I was going to offer you my jacket but I don’t feel quite so compelled now.” He answered smirking at the annoyed look on your face.
In all honesty he did feel a little bad for you. It was a chilly night and yet here you were in a tiny skirt and top. Honestly he knew you were dumb but really.
“Well I don’t want your stupid jacket ! It’s a lovely clear night !” You yelled at him, before turning around marching away. however you only got two steps before the heavens decided to open.
It began to rain, the droplets hitting your bare skin, making your slight shivering turn into fall on shaking. You cursed the gods who decided your life was a comedy routine.
However you kept walking, not wanting to be near Douxie anymore. The giddy feeling in your chest at being near him was quickly being overtaken by sheer annoyance. With a huff you tried to march away until Douxie reached out and grabbed your hand.
“Love as stubborn as you are, you can’t walk home in this. Come on I’ll give you a lift back.” He offered, for once sounding sincere.
Hesitating for a moment you looked him up and down, noting how his face had softened, the way his lovely dark eyes were focused on your so intently.
“Thanks.....Casperan.” You said awkwardly, unused to being civil with Douxie.
The boy smiled at you, chuckling a little at your awkward tone. As you both turned to walk to his car he unzipped his jacket and threw it at you.
“What the hell casperan !” You yelled, before quietening down once you realised he’d given you his jacket - abruptly sure, but he’d still done it.
Without saying anything you slipped the dark blue jacket on loving the feeling of warmth. The faint smell of pine trees and old books mixed with scent of the falling rain, and you couldnt help but take a deep breath in.
Douxie watched a content smile grace your face, and could feel his heart beat start to pick up. He prayed to Merlín that his cheeks weren’t as red as tomatoes. The sight of you in his jacket was doing things to him.
A sudden clap of thunder startled the pair of you and hurriedly you chased after Douxie, who made his way over to his car. You were dripping wet once you got inside the comfort of the vehicle, letting out a sheepish laugh.
“Sorry about your car seat.” You mumbled, rubbing your arm sheepishly. The leather of Douxies jacket was covered in rain and it dampened your fingers.
From beside you, Douxie glanced your way as he turned his keys in the ignition. The roar of the car was overtaken by another clap of thunder, a bolt of lightning shimmering through the sky.
It’s golden light lit up your face for a few seconds and Douxie’s breath caught in his throat, stunned for a second time today at your appearance. A few strands of hair were stuck to your cheeks, which were coloured with pink. Completed with your glowing eyes he couldn’t help but think how beautiful you were, especially when you weren’t saying something sarcastic.
“It’s no problem at all love....” he flashed you a small smile before reversing out of the parking lot and driving steadily down the streets of Arcadia.
The two of you, soaking wet form the rain, driving through the quiet streets to the soundtrack of a thunderstorm; it was quite romantic. For the first time you both were enjoying each other’s company, in peace and quiet.
It left you almost feeling unnerved, a slight tension building in the close confinement’s of Douxies car. You went to break the ice first but Douxie already started to speak;
“So umm where should I drop you ?” He asked, finally realising he actually had no idea where you lived.
“Oh uh Peach street, I live in an apartment above the flower shop there.” You quickly responded, a little embarrassed that you’d been so stupid.
Quickly, the pair of you were both engulfed in silence once again, as Douxie turned left down the street. He was struggling to think of anything to say. You guys had the odd witty, sarcastic conversation but never really spoke. There was attraction definitely, but your interests remained unvoiced. Hell the pair of you had never even spoken about your shared magical talents.
Until now.
“I know you’re a wizard.” Blunt as a butter knife, your words caught him off guard a little. He’d wondered when you would have this conversation.
Since the moment Douxie first met you, at Benoit’s on his first day at work, he knew you were a wizard like him, or soreceress rather.
He could easily sense your magic, an aura of red, so fiery and bright it caught him off guard, surrounded you. Whereas you felt the cool blue aura that shrouded the teen, calm but telling of how powerful he was.
“Blunt as ever love. And I know you’re a sorceress. A pretty powerful one at that, or just pretty.” He winked at you, a smirk on his face as he saw you roll your eyes.
“So....now that’s our in the open. Why did you come here ? You know this is my territory right ?” Your long buried resentment at his arrival here was starting to surface, an edge to your tone.
Douxie sucked in a breath, “it’s a long story really, but this place it’s special. I’m sure you’re aware of everything’s that’s go on here.”
A smirk made its way across your face as you thought about the magical nature of Arcadia. You were all too aware of what happened in this town.
“Trust me Im aware. Last week I had to send an incubus back to purgatory outside my school. And then after, spent the day cleaning up the messes left behind by a bunch of chanelings.”
Before you knew it, you were ranting all about your magical problems. It felt nice to have someone to talk to, besides your familair there was nobody else you could vent to.
“It’s nice you know, to actually be able to talk to someone about this...” You started, trailing off as you felt your nerves growing.
Douxie pulled up outside your apartment, the car rolling to a stop. He turned to you and noted the small pink tint on your cheeks, and the way you were fiddling with the hem of his jacket. A pang rang through his chest at the fact that you would go now.
“Well if you want to talk some more we could go grab something to eat ?” He asked a little unsure but hopeful.
Your face broke out into a large grin.
“I’d love to Casperan.”
With a quick turn of the wheel, you both sped down your street, laughter filling the car.

Hello! I thought that a fun twist to the “I’m trying to hold their hand by comparing sizes” trope would be to have Douxie offer to give a palm reading to the reader instead! (Which we know he can do from that one scene in 3Below) I’ve never done this before, but I thought it’d be a very cute and fluffy idea if you wanted to try! Bye! Thanks!
Douxie has been watching you, and no not in a “creepy stalker way” but more in a “youre beautiful I can’t keep my eyes off of you” sort of way.
Two girls that he’s pretty sure are Mary and Darcy, from Arcadia Oaks high school, flank your sides as you walk down the sidewalk. He’s outside the bookshop, sweeping up some leaves but you’ve distracted him from his job.
The three of you are drawing closer to him, and he can’t help but notice the way your lips curve up into a smirk when Darcie starts teasing Mary about “tight jeans Hank”. There’s a mischievous glint in your eye, and the street fills with the melodic sound of your laughter.
Before he can stop himself he’s approaching the trio as they pass by his shop, who stop as he approaches.
You notice Douxie, the British accented wannabe bad boy that you’ve seen around town a bit. He works at practically every business in town, so you’ve interacted with him a fair bit, not to mention he’s pretty cute.
“God morning ladies.” Douxie smirks, greeting you guys in his charming way.
Whilst Darcie and Mary giggle girlishly, blushing a little, you roll your eyes at his mannerisms. Unlike the others, you weren’t so quick to fall for good looks and a few charming words.
“Hi Douxie, you look good this morning.” Mary flirts, swirling a stand of her raven hair around a finger.
God, if your eyes could roll into the back of your skull you were sure they would in that moment. For some reason, a twisting sensation starts to occur in your stomach at the sight of Mary flirting with Douxie.
“Okay girls we should get going.” You snap, unable to stand watching it any longer.
The other two girls look at you, surprised at your outburst but not at the clear jealously your displaying. It’s a pretty well known fact that you and Douxie are crushing on each other hard. However, the two of you were some of the most oblivious people on the planet.
Douxie’s eyes widened in horror as you started to march away. He didn’t want you to go yet, he’d barely even gotten to speak to you.
“Wait !” Again his body acts before his mind, and he’s reached out to grab your hand.
It’s enough to halt you in your tracks and you turn around, blushing a little as Douxie keeps a firm hold on your hand.
“What Casperan ?” You’re glaring a little at him, annoyed that he’s caused you to blush so much.
“Ummm we...we we need to get to the uh cafe so we’re just gonna...go. Bye !” Darcie starts rambling, making up excuses before grabbing Mary’s hand and dragging her behind her.
Mary’s whines and protests slowly got quite as the two disappeared down the street, leaving you and Douxie alone.
Now alone together, the tension has increased tenfold, not helping your bright red cheeks and the blush starts to crawl down your neck.
“I-I uh.....was wondering if you wanted a palm reading ?” Douxie asked, sputtering out any random thing he could think of.
All he knew was that he wanted an excuse for you to stay there with him and so he could hold your hand a little longer. Douxie was prett sure you returned his feelings for him and he was sick and tired of all the flirting and snarky comments. He was going to make a move.
“Ummmmm sure ? What even is that ?” Your curiosity was piqued and the tension between the two fo you died down as you stepped closer to Douxie.
He smiled at you before taking your hand that was still in his grasp, and opening your palm out flat.
The familair ease of such a simple magical act calmed his wrecked nerves, and he found himself becoming more like the calm and confident Douxie who flirted with girls and jammed out to rock music.
“See this line here, it’s your life line which tells you about your general health and vitality. Oof did you once break your leg ?” Douxie asks you, taking you by surprise at the accuracy of his question.
“Umm yeah when I was seven playing soccer. How on earth did you know that ?” You ask completely shocked.
Douxie sends you a flirtatious wink, loving how enthralled you are and the way your other hand has come to rest on his.
“A magician never reveals his secrets love.” He says smoothly, the nickname not helping your blush which returns as red as a cherry tomato.
“So cheesy and cliche Casperan...” you mumble, still blushing.
A small chuckle escapes Douxie slips as he goes back to examining your palm. The warmth from your hand seeps into his, and he can’t help but realise how well your smaller hands fits into his, like puzzle pieces.
“This line here is your heart line, it’ll tell you about your emotional state and future attractions and relationships......” Douxie starts to tell you, looking up to see if you’re still paying attention when he notices the intense stare you’re giving him.
His breath hitches in his throat as he watches you lean towards him, freezing on the spot. Before he knows it you’re lips are on his and then as fast as it started, it ends. You pull away, face beet red as you avoid his glance.
Whatever confidence and bravery you had previously had, vanished at the sight of Douxie’s shocked expression.
“I’m sorry I-I don’t know what I was thinking, I just figured you maybe liked me cause you’re always looking at me and we flirt and stuff a-and I’m so-“ before you can continue your rambling and make a quick escape, Douxie has pulled you back into his arms, hand never leaving yours as he kisses you again.
The entire time your hand has never left his and he knows for a fact that it was made to fit into his. Your fingers curl around his and he knows this is right.

Hi, I’d like to request a matchup please 👉🏻👈🏻. I’m a 17 year old female and I’m Dutch. My zodiac is Libra but at the cusp of Scorpio. I’m a kind and patient person who cares to much about others and often forgets herself. If it helps, my personality type is: INFJ-T. I’m an Florist in training and I’d like to study herbology next. I’m eager to learn and I love to cook. I’m reading all the time. I like to design and paint. Would love to play guitar. Tell me if you miss information.😉
Honedlty I could really see you and Jim getting together based off of your description.
He too is very selfless like you are and admires that so much about you.
If you forget to take care of yourself he’ll be there to make sure you are okay, maybe he’ll make you lunch or make sure you are getting enough sleep
Whilst Jim is a little bit more extroverted the two of you compliment each other with you being an introvert.
Since you and Jim both love to cook you’ll make dinner together when round each other’s houses. It can quickly dissolve into food fights but after you got flour in Jim’s hair there’s been a strict rule against it.
If you ever offer to paint Jim it’ll instantly send him into a blushing and nervous mess. He’d be flattered and a bit embraced that you’d want to do soemthing like that. He’d spend the whole time staring at you with loving eyes as you concentrate on painting him
