playing around with a new robot today, p:ear the robot jackalope. technically, @garbagetiger invented this character so shoutouts to them. :p

basically what i have in mind for p:ear so far: straightforward, rowdy, friendly personality, very physical fighting style, good at vertical movement and blocking things. they’re probably like, idk, a pizza delivery robot for a living, idunno. robots name themselves in this world, so p:ear probably named themselves something like “powerful: electronic action rabbit.” also i think they’re powered by magnets in general, as opposed to a:ppl’s fruit juice deal?

This is a:ppl as I conceptualize them canonically. a:ppl is an acronym, it stands for automaton: phenotype pristiophoriformic lagomorph! They are hundreds of years old and were originally entirely organic. In their modern robotic form, they’re equipped with rockets, a flamethrower in their mouth, extremely bright flashes of light, and of course their bladed tail. Also, they are powered by fruit juice, which determines the color of their lights and rockets. I am unsure exactly how I conceptualize their world just yet but I think they are a scavenger by profession, and an arena fighter by hobby. These are things I will continue to explore as my art skill improves over the year!

i’m probably not gonna finish this tonight cause i’ve been watching melee BUT here’s a WIP i’ve got goin on. a:ppl was originally designed as a quadruped (and a fighter) and that is still their “canon” if you can call it that. i’ll talk more about that when i finish this c:
